This dish is best prepared from meat that is not too fatty. Suitable carb, loin, neck, ham, shoulder. Why didn't I put cheese on top like they usually do? Firstly, this way the dish will not spread when cut: the melted cheese will “hold” the pineapples with the pork. Secondly, the cheese crust will not dry out while the dish is baking in the oven.


To make the pork more juicy, pour a little (about 100 ml) of pineapple syrup or boiled water onto the baking sheet with it. You can also cook the dish under foil for the first 15 minutes - the effect will be about the same. Send the meat to bake in an oven preheated to 220-230 degrees. After 5-7 minutes, reduce the heat to 180 degrees. Continue baking until done (about half an hour). Serve the dish hot.

Cut the washed and dried meat into squares with a side of about 4 cm. Remove excess fat and veins as you cut.

Crush the garlic into a pulp or chop with a knife. Pour into a bowl. Add pepper.
