As we progress through the map we will find blue ones on the map exclamation marks, which will become more and more numerous. Using these marks we will find additional missions, or “Wastelands Missions”.
It is not necessary to complete them all, but sometimes the main missions require completing “Wasteland Quests”. By completing these tasks, you will receive various pleasant bonuses: the ability to detect minefields, armor, weapons, etc.

Dinky Dee

The task gives Tinsmith.
Reward: ability to detect mine and high explosive fields.
First, go to the Tin Man's hideout and put the dog in the back seat of the buggy. Then head to Jita's fortress in a buggy. The easiest way to get to the fortress is to quickly move to the nearest observation deck (it is located to the south). Afterwards, go to the Tin Man's hideout. Then take a buggy to the Jita fortress. Make a place for your dog in the back seat. Having reached your destination, place the buggy with the dog on the marker.

Thirst for gunpowder

The task gives Jit.
Reward: You will receive an arsenal project, thanks to which you will be able to replenish supplies.
Using fast travel, you will get to the observation deck, and from there you will be within easy reach of the blue marker. Get to him, enter the Thrall Rustler cave, and then quickly eliminate the sniper: he is sitting on the left. Then climb into the small hole, and then climb up the wall.
Move further through the cave. At the intersection, deal with two enemies; there will be two more enemies on the right. Defeat them, and then follow the path down. Climb through the next gap and jump down.
Having reached the end, you will see several more opponents and main goal mission - prisoner. Defeat your enemies. After this you can talk to the man in the cage. To complete the mission, you need to free him.
There is a water source on the western side of the room. And if, leaving the cave, you do not take the old path, but turn right, you will find two pieces of scrap metal and several more enemies. Defeat them, but do not fall into the bear trap: it is on the ground between the rooms.

In the belly of Buzzard

Prisoners give the task women in the Bruhorez fortress.
Reward: maximum volume clips sniper rifle.
You need to follow the route towards the northern tunnel (Rot’N’Rusties location). Inside the tunnel you will find several large containers. Don't rush to break the middle container: you can make some money in the tunnel. Then move forward until you reach a spiked entrance. Get out of the car and go through it, then get to the opposite side and go down the stairs and enter the open area on the right.
Here we will meet several opponents. It is necessary to kill everyone, and then look to the south: this way we will find scrap metal on the hill. On north side You will also find several pieces of ferrous metal, another one in the corner. The car has a special meaning here, so take it to the citadel: thanks to this you will add to your collection.
Returning back, hack the container discussed above. Go through the tunnel with spikes and pick up the scrap metal that will be on the right. Along the way, deal with the enemies who will attack you as you move forward. When you kill everyone, collect scrap metal on the right: it will be in the middle of the location.
After hacking the container, move on. On the left you will find several pieces of ferrous metal. Sooner or later you need to reach the broken bus. Go up the ramp to the left of the bus. When you're on the right, grab two more pieces of scrap metal. They will lie in front of the drilling rig.
You need to go around it to get to the back side. Here we will get an upgrade for the sniper rifle magazine. That's where the mission ends.

Ashes to ashes

The task gives Jit.
In this mission you need to mark three places indicated on the map with a rocket launcher. The first is the source of saltpeter. The second will be a volcanic crater located in the westernmost part of the Wasteland. The third point is another source of saltpeter. When you point at gray or blue dots on the map, a message will flash on the screen indicating which mission the checkpoint belongs to. The mission will end when you have marked all three locations.

Ironclad Faith

The task gives Gastrocutter.
Reward: Fracas Frame armor upgrade.
We take the task from the Gluthorn himself in his fortress. On the easternmost part of the map there will be a point, when you hover over it, the inscription “Eastern Tunnels” will appear. We mark it on the map and go to it.
There will be a gorge on the side of the entrance. You can crawl inside through it. Along the way, pick up scrap metal in boxes. As a result, you should end up in a tunnel. To do this, crawl to the grate marked with a marker and break the lock.
When you reach the intersection, turn left, passing the bombs. Be sure to go to the dead end. Ram the gate and go inside on foot. Destroy enemies on the way to the container, and then inside it. Go through the container to the checkpoint.
Go through the tunnel to the carriage. Here you need to push the carriage out of the tunnel, but without a car this will not be possible. First, go around the car and drive further, avoiding obstacles. After getting out of the tunnel, call the Tin Man with the buggy, and return to the carriage. Push him with a ram. This is how we obtained the steel needed for the Gluten Cutter.
Now we go down to the collapsed carriage and shoot from a rocket launcher to mark this place.

Sign of the Gods

Having accepted the task in the Gluttongue hideout, find the desired marker on the map, which will be north and slightly west of you. Your task is to find the idol in which Gluttongue believes and with the help of which he wants to raise the spirit in the ranks of his team.
There is a wall between the territories of Gluthorn and Red-Eyes. Your task is to find the entrance to Stormdrains. The green line will indicate to you that you are going in the right direction. In the middle of the ruins you will find a descent into tunnels - a gate. Line them with a harpoon and pull them out. Then go down and wander through the tunnel. Approach the closed grate, pick its lock and give a sign to the Gluten Cutter by firing a rocket launcher.

Playing with fire

The task gives Jit.
Reward: armor project in the Krasnoglazki and Fritrya fortresses.
Jeet wants you to find him a fuel truck. Find the desired marker on the map: it will be north of you. Head to the location.
When you see a convoy, eliminate it. But under no circumstances touch the truck carrying fuel! That's what we need to steal.
After delivering the truck to Jit, talk to him. You will have a new goal. Now go to the marked person and talk to him.
There will be a new position in the north of the map, directly above you. Go there inside the tunnel, get out of the car and watch the spectacle of a powerful explosion.

Daily bread

The task gives Little Red Eye.
Reward: project of a farm with maggots in the Krasnoglazki fortress.
First, leave the fortress and get to the buggy. In this mission you need to mark two places. The first is a church with a cross. Look at the map and find the marker on the right. Click on the marker, then go east. Stand at the indicated place and fire a signal flare.
Mark the second point on the map and move towards it. Fire the rocket launcher again. If opponents appear, eliminate them. There will be a new marker on the map. Now we need to go to the warehouse.
First, take out your binoculars and study the location. Burning pipes on the horizon - Gastown. It is a light away from you, and in front of Gastown there will be a small church dome with a cross on the sand. Max will say something when you hover over this dome, and a reference mark will also appear. Follow her and go down.
Jump off the platform. You will find yourself in an abandoned building. Collect the ferrous metal found here, and then turn around the left corner, where you will again find scrap metal and a box that can be hacked. Return to the altar and look forward, with your back to the place through which you came here. You will see another box. In addition, near the altar you can find a relic of the past.
After turning right, go into the passage that will lead you to the very bottom. At the same time, collect the scrap in the corridor. To clear the rubble of wood that is preventing you from exiting through the passage, set fire to a canister of fuel and throw it at the wood. After the explosion you can go through.
At the intersection, turn right to pick up a crowbar and a box. Go down the other stairs, take the canister there and clear the second passage. This way you will find a warehouse with supplies. Watch the cutscene, and then you can feed Max to replenish his health level.
Get out and give a sign to Red Eye. On the way back you will meet thugs. You need to deal with them, and then get out back the same way and shoot from the rocket launcher.

Ghosts of the past

The task gives a girl held captive in the Bruhorez fortress.
Reward: new car - Crazy Chariot.
Approaching a mother and child languishing in a cage, you will receive new information. Now you need to get to the racer's grave. It is located in the south. Go to the nearest observation deck, mark the place on the map and go there.
You can't get through the tunnel that easily. You will need to shoot at the boards blocking the entrance. Shoot them with a harpoon and pull them out by driving the car back. Go into the cave, but don't forget to turn on the flashlight. Kill enemies and collect scrap metal.
Going down, you will find that same Crazy Chariot. But first, go along the corridor to the left of the car and pick up a few more pieces of ferrous metal, as well as cans of gasoline. Fill up your car and also put the remaining canister in the trunk. Now go forward along the tunnel and leave the cave, and then mark the Brhorez fortress on the map and head there. The mission is over.

Burn them all

The task gives Deep frying.
Reward: “fire” upgrade.
Approach the indicated point in the Deep Fryer fortress and receive new information. Symbols will appear on the screen. Get to the burning mountain and explore the area. When you open the map, you will see a control point in the northwest, almost at the top of the map. Go to the location.
Fire is burning in the northern mountains. Look there with binoculars. Drive your car there through the gorge, killing enemies every minute.
Having reached the right place, find the Architect and his associates. Having dealt with the first bunch of enemies, go to the fire. The architect will begin to swing his hammer. Avoid him: he won't harm you, but he will harm his minions.
When everyone is finally defeated, wait for the Architect to attack. A red symbol will appear above his head. Then quickly attack. Use melee weapons that will remain from previous enemies.
However, whenever you attack the Architect, normal enemies will immediately appear. When the Architect has less than half his health, no minions will appear, and you will calmly finish him off. Then approach the fire signal and fire the flare gun to signal Deepfry.

Shot in the dark

Reward: improvement of the Big Mom set.
You will receive the task in the Deep Fryer fortress. Turn your back to him and go up the steps to where Nadezhda is standing.
Get out of the car and go to the hatch in the southeast of your current position. Find the control point on the map. Go down the hatch and enter the subway car. Go through car after car until you get to the desired station. Get out of the train and take two pieces of ferrous metal from the car standing in front. Take the scrap metal from the right wall.
The upgrade we need lies in the carriage, which stands against the wall. Having received the improvement, we will complete the mission.

In my time

The task gives Little Red Eye.
Reward: A relic from the past that points to a cache of tires.
Come to Red-Eyes's hideout and talk to her. Then leave her fortress and mark on the map the Tyrant's camp, which is located in the east and slightly north of the current position. Go there. The task will then update. The goal will appear - to kill Ghazv Khvat.
To find him, you will need to capture his entire camp. The battle with Gazv Khvat will not be difficult. By defeating him, you will complete the destruction of the camp, about which a corresponding message will appear on the screen.
Then go to the new marker and go up the stairs. The second staircase will be on the outside of the building. At the top you need to destroy the Slam emblem. Use the rope nearby to go down into the neighboring building. As soon as you get inside, enemies will rush at you. Kill them and then pick up the scrap metal.
Then climb onto the roof. You will get there not by steps, but by yellow stairs: it will lead you to a hole from which a rope stretches. Go up, then turn right and run up. Make a sign with a flare gun. The task will be updated.
Now go to Red Eyes. She will give you a reward and the mission will end. And now you will have another relic of the past.

Working with a key

The task gives Tinsmith.
Reward: The Tinsmith will give you an upgrade - “Holy Key”.
Talk to the Tin Man and learn about your time in Gastown. Exit the shelter and head north: the entrance will be to the left of the huge Gastown icon. Break the gate on the stone pipe using the harpoon.
Turn on the flashlight and go down. If enemies attack you, eliminate them. Continue along the corridor and deal with the opponents. Pick up the relic of the past at the checkpoint site.
Defeat the last enemy and get the upgrade you need.

Beat to Quarter

The task gives Gastrocutter.
Reward: another upgrade.
Get to the Gluthorner's hideout, approach the indicated person inside the fortress and talk to him about the task. Get down and jump into the car.
Leave the fortress. Expect the first enemy attack. To repel it, destroy all enemy vehicles.
Get to the next goal. Attacking opponents will be waiting for you again. Destroy all cars to complete the mission.

Where there is smoke

The task gives Deep frying.
Reward: Thunderbolt of Fear.
Go to the Fritir fortress and get a new task from him. Then get into the buggy and leave the fortress. The control point will be near Gastown. Place a route marker to it and go to the place.
Enter the city, and then run to your destination: there will be an entrance to the slums. Go through the tunnels to reach the new goal. A column of fire will prevent you from going forward. It can be stopped by turning off the gas supply using the yellow valve located nearby.
Get to the door. Turn the valve on it. Then we go again to the next goal through the tunnels. Go down the stairs. Screw on the new valve, and then find the other two. After this, you will be asked to find a way out of here. Go outside: this will complete your mission.

Exodus

The task gives Little Red Eye.
Reward: new car - Dune Vessel Carrier.
Come to Red-Eyes's hideout and talk to her. Leave her hideout in a truck with pipes and boards. Head south of your current location and slightly east of your current longitude. Place a marker on the control point on the map and go to it.
When you reach it, the task will be updated. Now you need to go to another control point located to the west of you. Place a marker on the map and drive.
Once this point is reached, the mission will be completed.

Tunnel Rats - a story about a soldier

A small introductory paragraph dedicated to beginners, which is designed to help in survival.

Rules for survival in the jungle:

Watch your step. You will notice rectangles of different colors on the ground. By approaching them and pressing F, the upper flooring will open, depending on the type of pit, you can find either a trap or hidden ammunition.

Never go into open spaces, stick to the left or right side clearings or shelters.

During a battle, in a heavily overgrown area, when the enemy is practically invisible, you can try to climb some hill or jump.

Be careful, you will come across poisonous snakes on trees and bushes.

Rules for survival in tunnels:

As in the case of the jungle, watch your step, there will be many traps on the floor, which will sometimes be well camouflaged. To deactivate, press F near the detected pit. When the trap is cleared of sand, find the small protruding pin on it and move it (F).

Also, there will be snakes in the tunnels. Look for them on the ceiling and under tables.

The most important thing is that to move along a series of corridors, you will come across red and green lights. Dead ends are indicated in red, and the correct direction is indicated in green.

In the corridor you will only be able to use a pistol, a knife and a machine gun. Grenades and sniper rifles will be unavailable.

When the tunnel is filled with water, you can always go through it, the main thing is that the blue stripe, which characterizes the air supply, does not run out.

Chapter 1

A helicopter carrying soldiers returning home was attacked. The surviving soldiers were taken by the enemies to the camp.

When you regain consciousness, first look around. You are in a pit, along with a bunch of dead soldiers. In war it’s like in war. By approaching each of the bodies, you can pick up personal tokens from them - in the case of a soldier from your army, and an ear - in the case of an enemy fighter. In order to get up, just go to the open part of the pit and press space to jump out of it. Next, search the buildings. In one of them, where you find the dead captain, you can find a first aid kit. Now go to the fallen trees. After crossing them, turn left. Take the knife from the nearest body. Go to the hole in the ground and go down. Don’t forget to clear the tripwire; it’s impossible not to notice it. Approach the grenade and press F.

The mine clearance process consists of two segments, red - unfavorable for work, and green. Above the green segments there will be an inscription R or L, which correspond to the left (L) and right (R) mouse keys. When the slider is above the green space that is in the center of the bar, press the desired key. If everything goes well, you will have a grenade and the trap will be cleared.

Once at the bottom, pick up the flashlight near the first corpse. You can turn on the lighting by pressing the T key. Turn right. When you reach another turn to the right, clear the tripwire and pick up the first aid kit. Move on. There will be a wooden plank on the floor, do not step on it until you deactivate the trap (press F). Walk forward a little, further there will be another tripwire, and even further away there will be a Vietnamese soldier. Without thinking for a long time, you will have to kill him. Now, having searched the nearest room, you can find a revolver and 14 cartridges (to reload, press the R key). All that remains is to go forward in order to get out. Turn off the flashlight and approach, almost right next to the enemy soldier wandering nearby. One headshot and you're the winner (don't waste ammo). Search the area and find pistol ammunition. Next you will have two enemies on your way. To begin with, it is better to hide behind a large stone. Crouch (LEFT CTRL) and aim (right mouse button) then carefully shoot the enemies in the heads. Search the bodies for ammunition. Going forward, you will find a Kalashnikov assault rifle. Watch your step. Under the leaves you can find (press the F key) traps or caches with ammunition. The way forward will be blocked by sharp stakes. Perhaps this is not a solution, but nothing better came to our minds than jumping over the dangerous pins. Run forward and immediately hide behind the ruins. You will have the opportunity to kill about ten Vietnamese. It’s certainly not a pleasant thing, but there’s no choice. Look out from behind cover, destroying the enemy, and don’t stay in one place for too long, they might get around you. After the battle you can collect trophies. Now the road will lead us to new catacombs.

Having cleared your path, move forward, remembering to turn on the flashlight and look at your feet. When the compass finds you, you know that an enemy is lurking ahead. Further, when the tunnel begins to go down, it will suddenly fill with water, don’t hesitate and move forward. Turn right to find a first aid kit, or go straight to the stairs. Having risen to the upper level, go straight and pick up C4 in the small room. Go forward. There will be a small warehouse on the left that needs to be blown up, but before you do this, clear your way forward. When two enemies attack you, kill them and search the room they were in. There will be a piece of map on the boxes on the left. Now let's go upstairs. Having turned off the light of the flashlight, we will go forward to fight the enemy. Turn left and go down into the tunnel. This is the end of the level...

Chapter 2

While our hero was wandering through the tunnels, the sun appeared on the street.

Move forward to an open area. When the bombardment starts, stick to the right to reach a piece of old tree trunk on the opposite side. Now, having wandered through the jungle, we will go out to the river. Directly, on the opposite bank, there will be a corpse of a US soldier, near him it will be possible to exchange an AK-47 for an M16. But before you know it, soldiers will attack you from the right; the situation will change radically when you have a grenade in your hands. You can replenish your ammunition by going through a tunnel dug into the rock at the back. After all the preparations, you will need to crawl through the hollow trunk of a fallen tree, to the right of the river. Then head down.

Now there will be a fork in front of you. Go straight or right? We chose straight. In the first room we found one enemy, ammunition for our rifle and smoke grenades. There was also a bicycle there, but you couldn’t ride it far. Having crawled on our stomachs through a low passage, we found ourselves near the next fork (if you go to the right, you will reach a dead end and collect ammunition; if you go to the left, you will find the way up). Near the stairs there is a surprise, a large snake that needs to be killed, despite all the prejudices about animal protection.

At the top, do not rush to go to the river, first two enemies will attack you, and then you better kill the snake hanging on the left. Now the path is clear, go out to the water and head right. After passing through a small corridor of thickets, you will again find yourself near the river, but this time under the gun of enemies. Run into the bushes on the right. Look for the entrance to the catacombs and go down. Search all the passages of the dungeon. In one of the rooms you will find another piece of the map. Now make your way to the tunnel exit. Turn left, and don't forget to take out the soldier standing at the top. When you reach the end of the river, turn right. Be prepared to repel an attack. The enemy will come out to the right. Then the cold will fall. Before climbing the road to the mountain, I advise you to visit one clearing with a bunch of dead bison. It is located to the left of the main road. Near the dead soldier, you will find additional ammo for the M16.

When you climb the road to the mountain, you will have to wander through the next tunnels from the jungle. Keep to the right. The road will lead you to a huge tree hanging over the canyon. Further the path lies to the broken helicopter. After killing the Vietnamese who is kicking around next to the helicopter and clearing the entrance to the helicopter, climb inside and activate the radio. Luck will smile on you, the radio will be working, which will allow you to contact the headquarters. After the communication session we return back. Just don’t rush, suddenly the whole location will be filled with a new portion of narrow-eyed people. You need to return to the clearing with dead bison. Having reached the target, your subordinate will throw a smoke bomb. Now you will need to wait for the helicopter, but first you will have to fight off a bunch of enemies. All that remains is to pick up the radio and crawl on your stomach a couple of meters to complete the chapter.

Chapter 3

Go straight to the downed helicopter. Before going down, walk a little further and change your Kalashnikov (if you have one) for an M16; on this site you have a better chance of finding cartridges for this weapon. Go around the helicopter on the right side, taking cover behind the covers, this will be better to take enemies by surprise. After a short battle, go behind the helicopter to a small path, it will be strewn with sharp stakes. There is a fallen tree on the right; jump on it to overcome the obstacle. Look for a hole in the ground and go down. The tunnel will not be very long. If you have a shortage of first aid kits, search each of its branches, you can find a total of 2 first aid kits. Once on the street, get ready to kill. There won't be many enemies. Move forward and look in the ground for another descent into the catacombs. The new tunnel will meet you with a fork into four branches. Go to the right two to replenish ammunition. if you love thrill, you can visit the left department. Now go straight. When you come across a vertical tripwire, look for a grenade at the top. Once in the room with the dismantled bomb, look into the closet on the right. Here you will find a new pistol and ammunition for it. Get to the surface.

On the street, two guys will already be waiting for you on the right and another 5 people on the left. When you reach the enemies on the left, you can pick up a rare, rapid-fire, twenty-round shotgun. Beware, after your exchange you most likely will not be able to find your machine. After repelling another attack, head towards the enemies on the right. Climb up the rocks to them. After walking a little forward, turn sharply to the left. After killing the enemy with his back to you, begin clearing the area from his position. There will be too many enemies. Go back, before going down, find the entrance to the catacombs in the ground. Here you can replenish ammunition and find another piece of the map. Return outside and head to the abandoned shack, simultaneously clearing the area of ​​enemies. When everything calms down, go to the tower and place C4 on it. Go into the house and go downstairs. Go through the tunnel to finish the next chapter of the game.

Chapter 4

Actions will begin from the street. Walk forward so that a terrible sight opens up in front of you - a burned-out village. There are two ways to enter it: go down the road or go through a series of tunnels. We decided to choose the second method. Having cleared the catacombs of enemies, the road led us to the village. Go to the nearest house to pick up a sniper rifle. Now start clearing the surrounding area. Look into the house across the river. In its floor there is an entrance to the catacombs. Come down. Get ready for a long walk through the dungeons. Try not to miss more than one branch (read the instructions at the beginning of the article so as not to get lost). The first place where the tunnels took us was a small island with an anti-aircraft gun, which we blew up. Then we went down and came out to a huge field dotted with severed heads. Here I had to fight a maniac. After his death, we searched the area and found C4. Having climbed up the trunk of a fallen tree, we found ourselves near another anti-aircraft gun, which we eliminated by using recently found explosives on it. Then we went into a tunnel, the entrance to which was in a nearby building.

Chapter 5

And so, once on the surface. Move forward until you come to a clearing overgrown with tall grass. There will be two enemies waiting ahead, kill them. For the most curious players, we recommend climbing the tallest tree in the center and looking in the direction you came from. And you will be able to see some undisguised means of creating levels.

Further road will lead to a huge field. Go down into the first ravine, near the dead buffalo, pick up a sniper rifle and cartridges for it, this weapon will make it much easier to repel the enemy’s attack. Turn left towards the house and walk forward a little. Having cleared two tripwires, you can find ammunition for a sniper rifle in the ground. Go back carefully, because two enemies will be waiting for you ahead. Head to the crashed helicopter. As you approach it, you will be greeted by mortar guns and enemy crews ahead. To replenish ammunition, it is worth sneaking into the helicopter from behind. Then head left. Just before the mountain, look back. On the left there will be a passage to a small house. Go into it, there will be a flamethrower on the table. You can exchange it for a sniper rifle. We move forward and turn left. Rest against the rocks, go into the hole cut into them and clear the area. Coming out with reverse side rocks, on the right you will be greeted with fire from the grottoes. Quickly run into the trench dug ahead. Go around the grottoes, through the house in front. Take a flamethrower in your hands and, approaching each hole, begin to smoke out the enemies. Then go into the nearby hollowed-out entrance. Running out of ammunition can be picked up from enemies with the same type of weapon by approaching them and pressing the F key. When you get to the fork, there will be a very narrow passage on the left side, take courage and slide down there to find part of the map. Go back and go to another part of the tunnel. You don't have long to wander, remember just one thing - you need to move along the green marks on the walls.
