Holidays in Thailand map beach Phuket. All the beaches of Phuket and the best beaches of the island - a description from personal experience. Where to stay on Kata: hotels, villas and apartments

Hotels on Kata Beach we always advise you to choose as early as possible, especially if you are planning to go to Thailand to Phuket on your own. After all, Kata Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Phuket among tourists with good reviews. Therefore, it is better to book the best 3, 4 and 5 star Kata hotels for the high season, which lasts from November to March, in advance via the Internet several months before the trip. Otherwise, hotel prices on Kata in winter will be significantly higher than in summer or autumn, and you can only find a free room in a decent hotel on Kata Beach during the rainy season, or you will have to live far from the beach in a cheap guesthouse.

To make it easier for you to choose a good hotel and book a room on Booking, I suggest you read our review of the best hotels in Kata with a high rating. Inexpensive hotels in Kata 3 and 2 stars

We would like to recommend inexpensive hotels in Kata first of all to those who are traveling to Thailand for the first time on a limited budget or want to save on housing without compromising their holiday in Phuket. Closer to winter they are in greatest demand and prices for all budget hotels rise (so book in advance), and in summer they are the cheapest and rooms are always available.

Here are the 7 cheapest hotels in Phuket, Kata Beach, with a high rating on Booking and good reviews:

There are also several hostels on Kata Beach, with different levels of comfort. We recommend the best one:

Kata Beach is one of the best on the island of Phuket, located in the southwest of Thailand. On this beach you can combine an active pastime and a fairly relaxing holiday. Kata Beach is the smallest of the three famous beaches in Phuket. Kata Beach is divided into two parts: Kata Yai and Kata Noi. It is strikingly different in appearance and style from Patong and Karon. Kata Beach occupies a small area on the island and is very quiet as there is no nightlife.

Kata Yai or Kata Noi

Both beaches are extremely clean and beautiful. But they also have differences. Kata Yai is suitable for lovers of water sports, as well as those who prefer to swim in the waves, as the surf here is strong. But Kata Noi is ideal for those looking for a quiet corner. Here you can relax and feel like a part of this magnificent nature.

The part of the bay, which is called Kata Yai, is one kilometer in length. The entrance to the sea of this beach is very gentle. Therefore, if you decide to take your child on vacation, then book a hotel in this particular place, and then you will not have to worry about your child. There are also practically no corals in the water, so swimming here is quite safe. And in order to further protect tourists, flags are hung on the beaches. Using them, vacationers can easily predict the situation on the water.

The wide shoreline of the beach resembles the shape of a sickle, and just beyond the golden sand lie hills and tropical forests. From November to April, the beach is filled with tourists who prefer to soak up the sun. And from May to October, fans of “catch a wave” come here - this beach has become a favorite place for surfers and fans of snorkeling. The coastal area is lined with beautiful bars, restaurants and small shops.

It has everything you need for a good holiday: a magnificent beach, luxury hotels, souvenir shops, restaurants and several bars on the seashore.

Hotels on Kata Beach (map)

Almost all Kata hotels are located on the beach. Therefore, when choosing a place to stay, you should not pay much attention to the number of stars of the hotel. You can choose a hotel based only on the level of service you prefer. For tourists with low requirements, you can choose a lot of guesthouses. This could be, for example, Honey Resort 3* And Outdoor Inn & Restaurant 2*. But in terms of comfort they cannot be compared with Russian health resorts; go to the official website of the Kazakhstan sanatorium and see for yourself. Here you will be provided with comfortable accommodation for a small amount. It is worth noting that the Thais are very hospitable. Therefore, when choosing a small guesthouse or hotel, you can rest assured that you will be greeted there as the most valued guests. They will treat you like members of their family. Our article describes how to find and book a hotel in such a wonderful place.

It has long been no secret to anyone that Kata Beach is one of the most popular destinations among Russian tourists. And this is quite understandable. This beach is a huge success because here you can find everything that the soul of a jaded tourist could desire. Sunbathing with the sound of the waves, spearfishing, excursions, diving, windsurfing, parachute jumping, yachting, beach volleyball, tonic drinks and much more will be offered to vacationers on the beaches of Phuket.

Kata Beach in Phuket is an ideal place for a family holiday, because it is dangerous to let children into deep water, and here you have to swim quite a bit to get to the depths (of course, this also depends on the tide). In the morning, you can see a large number of fishing boats here, so the morning air is filled with the smell of fresh fish. Here you can eat in small cafes overlooking the sea.
The underwater world of Thailand is truly amazing in its diversity. Very close to Kata there is a small island called PU, which is located 500 meters from the northern coast. Near it there is a wonderful coral reef, which is suitable for diving enthusiasts. Here you can dive to the seabed and admire the picturesque coral reef. All necessary diving equipment can be rented.

But if your vacation takes place on Kata in the summer during the rainy season, you may not be able to go snorkeling. In this case, the weather is ideal for surfing, because at this time the waves are simply stunning. At the same time, the beach remains absolutely safe. Therefore, if you have never even tried to stand on a board, you can start training right here. Relaxing on the beach

In a word, Kata is the purest beach in the tropics, which seems to be “buried” in greenery, captivating with its gentle turquoise sea and white sand on the shore. Only here you will find a perfectly clean sea, pristine nature, amazingly fresh air.

Dining and shopping at Kata Beach

Kata has a moderately developed infrastructure. There are places here for those who like to be active even at night, and for those who like a quiet nightlife. But it is worth considering that in the entire bay all active life ceases by 23:00. In this case, if you want to have a snack on the beach at night, purchase the products you need in advance at any supermarket. The Seven Eleven chain will provide you with a huge selection of products. By the way, here you can buy instant noodles and ask them to pour boiling water over it right here in the store. The vermicelli purchased in this supermarket has nothing in common with our vermicelli in taste. Many tourists are attracted to this dish, so it’s worth trying it at Seven Eleven at least once.

Now you should pay attention to souvenirs and other purchases. There are many stationary shops in this place. But every Thursday, in addition to these shops, a small bazaar appears on the main road. You can buy everything you need there. In addition to souvenirs, they sell seafood and fresh fish here. Having purchased these products, you can ask any restaurant to prepare them for you. This is done for a fee, which is not that big. You can also buy spices and then cook real Tom Yam for your family and friends. Let them feel the flavor of Thailand.

Judging by the extensive experience of travelers, this is where the food from makashnitsa is the most delicious. For example, Thai pancakes are the absolute favorite of most of those who have tried them at least once. So don't forget to try this deliciousness.

The complex is replete with many restaurants with a variety of cuisines and bars, there is a swimming pool, a hairdresser, a fitness center and a massage parlor, and parking. Currency exchange offices and mini markets are located nearby.

To decide which part of Kata Beach you like best, take a bike and ride around the area. Be sure that there is something to see here at any time of the year, and you will be left with a lot of positive impressions from what you see.

If you are tired and want to relax away from everyone, welcome to Katata Beach!

The beach strip stretches for about 1.5 km, the width is about 30 meters. The shore of Kata Beach is covered with soft sand, which is pleasant and comfortable to walk on. The sea here is clean with a gentle entrance, the depth increases gradually - the place is suitable for families with children. The bottom is comfortable, consists of sand, there are no stones and shells.

Phuket hotels near Kata Beach

There is access to Kata Beach only along the edges of the beach. This is due to the fact that on the first line of the beach there is a large hotel with a fenced area, and you have to go around it. If you do not want to spend a lot of time walking to the beach and back, you should take this point into account and choose housing located along the edges of the beach.

The closer the hotels are to the beach, the higher the cost of living there. If you like hiking, you can find inexpensive options further away from the beach itself - there are cozy guest houses and apartments.

Infrastructure and entertainment

On Kata Beach in Thailand you can sunbathe either on your own beach mat or on a rented sun lounger, its cost is 100 baht. Since there is little vegetation nearby, natural shade can only be found in a few places and mainly in the morning hours. The sun is extremely active here during the day, so to avoid getting sunburned, it is better to take your own umbrella or rent one on the beach. Lifeguards monitor water safety.

Kata Beach is a very popular vacation spot, but for some reason there are no cabanas here. You will also have to look for other amenities, such as toilets and showers - they are located only on the left side of the beach, and they also charge a fee for their use. The cost of a toilet is about 10 baht, a shower is 20 baht.

In terms of entertainment, everything is pretty good here. There is an opportunity to ride a banana boat and a jet ski, fly with a parachute behind a boat, and go kayaking. On the beach there is rental equipment for snorkeling (swimming underwater at a depth of 5-10 meters with a mask, snorkel and fins). Vacationers enthusiastically describe the schools of fish and corals they encountered during the dive.

Massage services are very common on Kata Beach.

You can also go surfing on the beach, with optimal weather conditions for this sport from May to October. Opposite the beach there is an island called Pu, the distance to it is short - you can overcome it on a rented boat. The island will be interesting for diving enthusiasts; this is an excellent place for diving.

There are many places near the beach where you can eat, as well as buy fruits and refreshing drinks. In the immediate vicinity of the beach there are so-called makashnitsy - snack bars on wheels, which offer a wide variety of local street food. There are also cafes, some with beautiful views of the coast. At nearby markets you can buy souvenirs and accessories for a beach holiday.

Attractions

There are places not far from the beach that are worth visiting.

On the way to Karon Beach there is a Dino Park where you can play mini golf. The interior of the park itself, stylized as the Jurassic period, is also of interest. There are dinosaur figures installed here, there are caves and waterfalls. Visitors can dine in a themed restaurant.

Another notable place is the Karon View point. Here you can enjoy a stunning view of 3 beaches at once - Karon, Kata and Kata Noi. There is also an elephant farm nearby, where you can learn a lot of interesting things about elephants and, of course, ride them.

Kata Beach is located in the southwest in, about 20 km from its capital -. Length - 1 km, width - 30-40 m. In the north, a highway is connected to, so the boundaries of these two towns are blurred and at first it is not always clear where one ends and the other begins. But this is only by land, and by water there is a large rocky formation between them, so there is no passage along the coast.

Kata Beach on the map of Phuket

In the south of the beach it is the same - it is connected by a road to, but along the sea they are separated by hills. This middle position makes Kata very attractive, because within walking distance there will be three beaches at once, which differ from each other and have their own characteristics.

Photos

Review of Kata Beach

On Kata, behind the sandy coastal strip there is a small patch of grass, after which the roadway begins. On the other side of it there is a long fence that runs parallel to the highway, behind which there are several hotels. Thus, there are no restaurants right next to the coast (like in neighboring Karon, for example). Only in the southernmost part, where the highway turns left, there are several places on the shore where you can simultaneously eat and enjoy the sea views.

Kata Beach is an ordinary sandy coast, where there are several rows of sun loungers and sun umbrellas. The cost of their rental is 100 baht per day. There is an opportunity to play volleyball. All types of water entertainment are available - motorcycles, skis, parachute flights behind a boat, banana boats. For swimming, it is better to choose areas fenced with buoys, since the rest are the launching pad for the departure and return of jet skis and boats - so it is quite dangerous there.

By the way, keep in mind that Kata beach is very pronounced.

Fun on the beach

Entertainment Kata is not limited to just the coast. Of course, they are not comparable in scope to Patong (or even Karon), but you can have a good time here, especially in the evenings. The town is spread over three parallel streets running from the sea, where there are many shops, massage parlors, restaurants, bars (full of available girls), Internet cafes, and a couple of markets. So there is something to do. Travel agencies offer numerous as well as trips to. There are a lot of inscriptions in Russian, and there are plenty of Russians themselves.

In the southern part of Kata, where the beach road turns left, there is a place where you can learn how to surf.

A good place for family entertainment is, which is located on the road connecting Kata and Karon. Although this is a mini-golf course, everything is done so unusually that you can come just like that (entrance is paid, but if you don’t play golf, then 120 baht instead of 240) to look at dinosaurs, watch the eruption of an artificial volcano and immerse yourself in prehistoric era.

Stores and shopping

In terms of shopping, the Kata area is not as good as Phuket Town or Patong, since there are no shopping centers or large markets. But if you came to the island to take a break from worries, swim, swim and bring home a few memorable souvenirs, then local shops will be enough for you. In addition to souvenirs, there is a large selection of clothes and shoes.

Attractions in the Kata area

The main attraction of Kata Beach is the observation deck, which is located to the south, halfway to Nai Harn Beach. For some reason it is called , although it is quite far from Karon Beach. Most likely, Kata belongs to the municipal area of Phuket - Karon, hence the name. The observation point is small - there is only one gazebo, which offers excellent views of Kata, Karon and Kata Noi. Since this observation deck is the most easily accessible in Phuket, there are enough tourists here and most of the panoramic photos of the island posted on the Internet were taken from here.

Few people know that next to it there is another viewpoint, although it does not offer such panoramic views. But there are no people there. You can get to it along a small asphalt road that leads from Karon View Point (do not confuse it with the main highway). If you stand on the main road facing Karon View Point, the road to the second site is on the left, perpendicular to the main road. In 5-7 minutes she will take you to your place. The path itself will run through a beautiful tropical forest - great places, in a word! If you have your own vehicle, then be sure to check it out. In the photo we tentatively called this site Karon View Point 2.

How to get to Kata

From Phuket Town

You can get from Phuket Town (and vice versa) very cheaply by public transport - blue buses. The fare costs 30 baht. There are about 20 km between these two settlements, but since the bus is slow (especially at the beginning of the journey, as it picks up passengers, plus traffic jams), expect the trip to take at least an hour. In Phuket Town, buses depart from Ranong Road, its location is indicated on the map at the bottom of this page. Choose the one where it says Phuket-Kata-Karon.

On Kata, the stop is located 100 meters from the sea, where the road running parallel to the coast turns sharply to the left (50 meters from the toilet and showers). It is also marked on the map below. From there the bus first goes to Karon, then exits onto Highway 4028, and from the Chalong ring it follows Chao Fa Street, through Villa Market and. Then it makes a turn at the Central Festival shopping center (those who wish can go out for shopping) and soon arrive at Ranong Road.

If you travel independently from Phuket Town by motorbike or car, then follow the Chao Fa Highway to the south. At the Chalong roundabout, turn right and drive straight (immediately after the turn, on the right side there will be a latex store, products from which are very popular among our compatriots). Follow it for several kilometers. Soon the sign will show that you need to turn left to Kata Beach. If you go in a straight line, the road will lead to Karon, and then to Patong.

From Patong and Karon

Getting to Kata from Karon is easy on foot in 15-30 minutes (depending on where you start from - from its southern end or northern).

It is not possible to walk from Patong, since the path will run through the mountains. It is better to use a tuk-tuk (at least 300 baht) or your own vehicle. In the latter case, you need to go south from Patong, there is only one road, so you won’t get lost. When approaching Karon (when descending from the mountain), sometimes there are police officers on duty who have run out of money and collect fines from everyone who does not have a helmet when driving a motorcycle or a driver's license category A, if you

The beaches of Phuket will go in order from north to south, counterclockwise. And to better understand where and what, look at the map of all the beaches at the very bottom of the article, there you can click on a point on the map and follow the link to read a detailed description with a bunch of photos. You can also download various paper ones.

The first thing you need to know is that there are swimming beaches only in the west of Phuket and in the south. Yes, there are still a couple in the east, but they are just not for everyone.

The best beaches for long-term stays in my opinion: and. Both are quiet, there are few hotel tourists there, most of them are houses for rent, there is enough infrastructure. There is even a Tesco supermarket in Bang Tao. But when we talk about Nai Harn, we mean that you need to live in the Rawai or Chalong area (that’s where all the houses are for rent), and go to Nai Harn itself by bike or car. In Bang Tao you can live within walking distance from the sea. You can also consider - there is a BigC supermarket, there is housing and the sea will be nearby.

For a beach holiday, and are best suited. Listed in order of decreasing number of people. But if we talk about the beaches themselves, then Karon will be more beautiful, and Kata will be more comfortable. In general, the best of them, in my opinion, is Kata Noi, but the hotels there are very expensive and there is not enough infrastructure. In principle, no one bothers you to go to Kata Noi to swim, or even walk, if you live on Kata, it’s not far there. For an average budget, I would choose a hotel between Karon and Kata. Then it will turn out that all 3 beaches will be nearby and within walking distance. Plus there is a Makro supermarket on Kata.

I know that many people like a quiet place to relax. It’s good, I don’t argue, but I’m still more in favor of Kata-Karon, somehow they’re nicer, if we’re not talking about the coast, but about the area. If you need places with less infrastructure, then consider. The latter is generally, one might say, rustic.

For lovers of nightlife and parties, there is a direct route to . It not only resembles a small city, but also has the most developed infrastructure in the area. Shops, bars, clubs, and a small branch of Pattaya - its own Walking Street. There are also the most budget hotels here.

Main beaches of Phuket

Nai Yang Beach

Nai Yang is located just south of the airport. The infrastructure is not particularly developed, there are cafes, hotels, a minimart, and a market off to the side. The place is not very popular, there are not many people on the shore. The central part is best for swimming; there is a fairly quick entrance and sun loungers on the beach with umbrellas. Casuarinas grow on the shore and create shade.

Nai Yang Beach

Naithon Beach

Not a very big beach near Phuket airport. Gives the impression of a resort place. There are a lot of people on the shore, near the cafe there are laudatory reviews from guests in Russian. There is a road along the beach, behind which the hotels are located. The buildings here are dense.

Naithon Beach

The next piece of beach, after you go up the mountain, belongs to. They didn’t let me in there, they say it’s private property.

Bang Tao Beach

Bang Tao beach is long, about 5 kilometers. As a rule, they live in its southern part, because in the northern part there are very few hotels, houses for rent, cafes and shops. There are rather vacant lots and a few cafes on the shore. In general, Bang Tao can be described as a calm place. Very detailed, and briefly below.

North Bang Tao. There are very few people on the beach, one might say almost no one at all. There may be large waves that are not suitable for small children. The depth increases quite quickly. The water is clean and the sand is medium in size. The beach strip is wide and separated from the road by a casuarina grove and a fence. There is shade from the trees only in the first half of the day. There are entrances to the beach only where there are cafes. Large parking near the Nikki Beach Hotel.

The middle of Bang Tao. Continuous resorts around lakes, a pretentious and expensive place. The main area is occupied by Laguna Beach Resort. The road runs right along the beach and between it and the shore there are cafes in a row. Right there it ends somewhere, a dead end. And to get to the southern part of Bang Tao you need to go back a little (to the north), around the Lagoon. There is parking near Moevenpick Resort, free for everyone at the time of filming. The sand is fine. There are already more people here than in the northern part, but it’s still quite normal. But from the middle to the south there are much more people. Shade will most likely have to be obtained here with the help of umbrellas.

South Bang Tao. Dense and cramped buildings, many hotels, shops, cafes, long-term homes. There is a normal Tesco. The main road passes here one and a half km from the beach and goes to Surin Beach. The rest of the paths are narrow, it’s a bit cramped for a car, it’s better to ride a bike. The main entrance to the beach is near Bangtao Beach Resort, although you can also go through other resorts. There are quite a lot of people on the shore, plenty of sunbeds. The depth does not increase quickly, but you don’t have to go too far. You can look for shade under casuarina trees (in the first half of the day) and under umbrellas.

Surin Beach

Pansy Beach is located near Surin. I couldn’t get to it, I ran into a resort and a barrier, but you can get there on foot, they let you in without any problems.

Surin Beach

Kamala Beach

Kamala beach is long and the infrastructure depends on the part where you stay, in this regard it is similar to Bang Tao. And in the same way it gives the impression of a calm and “village” beach, because there is no nightlife at the resort. More, and read below briefly.

North of Kamala. From Surin you can get here through a pass; the road runs along the coast. This part of the beach has little housing and many empty spaces. Between the road and the beach there is some kind of fenced off area, inside it there are only trees and vacant lots. All hotels are located across the road from the shore. There are enough people on the shore, but not to say that there are very many. The sand is very fine near the water, but closer to the larger trees. The depth increases quickly, which is convenient for adults. There is shade from casuarinas only in places and in the first half of the day.

Middle of Kamala. The road leaves the coast towards land. There are a lot more people in this part of the area. Dense development starts from here and goes to South Kamala. There is a mini Tesco, a small BigSi, the entire infrastructure is located from the middle to the south. The beach is the same as in the north, only the depth increases much more slowly. Despite the hotels and the “city”, I liked the atmosphere, not very touristy.

South of Kamala. In the very south, the road again runs along the beach, although no longer the main one (it goes to Patong), but a secondary one. The beach goes right along this road, there are almost no people, natural garbage lies on the sand. In the south and south-middle there is a long entrance, you will have to walk about 50 meters through the water.

Patong Beach

Patong Beach is the most famous beach on the island. Some call it a branch of Pattaya because it has almost everything there is in terms of nightlife. In fact, this is where they come to hang out. And also on the tour, most packagers end up here. There are a lot of people here, both on the shore and in the city. Yes, this is a real city with traffic jams, busy traffic, and shopping centers.

Patong Beach

Karon Beach

You can get to Karon through a small pass from Patong, and from the south side from Kata Beach, which smoothly flows into Karon. There is infrastructure and hotels all over, I didn’t notice much of a difference. The road runs along the coast almost everywhere, and between it and the coastline there is only sand and trees, that is, you can enter the beach at any point. The beach is popular, but not as busy as Patong, although there are not much fewer people on the shore. In the Karon Park area there is a pond and some empty spaces.

Nai Harn Beach

Nai Harn Beach

Not the main beaches of Phuket

Mai Khao Beach and Sai Kaew Beaches

Mai Khao Beach

Banana Beach

Banana Beach

Laem Sing Beach

Laem Sing is a very small beach. It is clearly visible from the viewpoint near the road. There is no access to the beach. You need to leave your vehicle at the top of the road and go down the mountain path. The Thais have paid entrance to the beach and paid parking. Moreover, there is very little space for this, and in the season, at best, you will only find somewhere to stick the bike. But, if you’re not too lazy to walk a hundred meters, then from Laem Sing towards Kamala there will be a couple of places along the road (one of them is near a garbage dump) where you can even park your car. Or, as an option, park at the viewpoint.

The beach is average in terms of crowding. Its area is small, so it depends on the influx of tourists. The depth increases at an average speed. Large blocks stick out from the water; at low tide they are completely exposed. More.

Laem Sing Beach

A small piece of beach in Kamala Bay near the Aquamarine Resort & Villa hotel. This is the southernmost part of Kamala. Most likely, it’s not worth going here on purpose, only if you sit in a cafe on the shore, she’s the only one there. Solid resorts, pretty cool. Quiet, calm, no people. The sand is coarse with shells, and there are stones in the water. The shore is narrow, just a few meters in total, but this is at high tide. It takes a relatively long time for the depth to grow. And at low tide the water goes away, and swimming here will be problematic. Read more about this.

Nakalay Beach

The scourge didn’t hit Naklay, I just took a photo from above. Everything there is fenced off by Nakalay Beach Resort, near it there is an inscription on a sign “Do not enter”. From above I didn’t see any of the people on the shore. .

Nakalay Beach

Kalim Beach

To the north, Kalim is a rocky shore, where at low tide the locals collect something all the time, and in general they have some kind of party there. And to the south of Kalima, Patong Beach begins almost immediately.

Kalim Beach

Tri Trang Beach

If we drive south from Patong not along the main road (it goes to Karon), but along the coast, then over the hill we will get to Tri Trang Beach. It is located near the Tri Trang Resort of the same name, where you can also get to the shore itself; near the resort the path goes sharply down. I was a little scared to go. The sand is ordinary, like everywhere else. There are few people, quiet and calm. The beach is short in length. The depth does not increase quickly; at low tide it is unswimmable and there are stones. .

Tri Trang Beach

Freedom Beach

A flat coastline, about 500 meters long, consisting of pure white and fine sand, on one side buried in a real jungle. A small paradise of beaches, once little known, but now quite popular and crowded, despite its isolation and some inaccessibility. The beach is located south of the bustling Patong Beach, behind a forested cape. .

Beach at Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort

The small beach of the Le Meridien hotel, which is surrounded on both sides by green hills covered with tropical vegetation. The sand on the beach is white, fine and clean. The entry into the sea is gentle and comfortable. The water is also clean, azure in color. You can get to the beach from both Patong and Karon in about 10 minutes. Since the hotel stands alone and in a rather secluded place, mainly hotel guests swim on the beach. .

Le Meridian Beach Resort – Le Meridian Phuket Beach Resort

Ao Sane Beach

A very small beach, several tens of meters long. To get to it, you need to go right from Nai Harn through the hotel. The road is a dead end. The beach itself has large stones and medium-sized sand. There are usually not many people, and divers come here. .

Ya Nui Beach

Ya Nui Beach

Rawai Beach

Hardly anyone swims on the beach itself. This is a “technical” beach where fishermen’s boats are parked. It’s a good place to sit on the embankment in one of the many cafes, or take a walk along the pier. There are also many rental houses in this area where longsteers live. We ourselves lived here once. The location is also good because it is 10 minutes from Nai Harn. More.

Rawai Beach

Chalong Beach

About the same as Rawai. Boats and speedboats are parked here, but swimming is not allowed. And it’s also convenient to live here, because there is a lot of housing and the infrastructure is also good. Tesco is nearby, and Phuket Town with its shopping centers is also very close.

Map of Phuket beaches

P.S. Some small or private beaches are missing from the review. I will list: the beach of the Trisara Resort hotel, the beach of the Layan Beach Resort, Hua Beach, the beach of the Merlin Beach Resort, Siam Beach, Nui Beach, Laem Ka Beach, Ao Yon Beach, Cape Panwa. Maybe I’ll take pictures of them later, but for now I just marked them on the map.

P.P.S. If you need a hotel in Phuket, then I have a personally compiled one. In general, the choice of housing in Phuket is presented for any budget, all you have to do is choose.
