Banal reasons

Let's start, perhaps, with a number of the most banal reasons, why mobile Internet may not work.

  • The “Data transfer” option is not enabled in the settings. All modern smartphones have this option. You can easily turn it off in the settings.

Settings are wrong

To exclude this option, you should go to the Internet settings on your phone and find there items related to APN, that is, the access point.

Depending on the model, the location of this item may also differ, but APN will remain APN in any case.

To fix this problem, there are two ways:

  1. Request settings from the operator.
  2. Manually set up the network connection.

Manual network setup

The fact is that in addition to the processes visible to us, Android constantly runs processes that are responsible for the functioning of the system kernel itself. What are these processes: all the functionality of our gadget constantly relies on auxiliary system functions inside the system core, and without these functions it simply cannot work. Any function that we launch immediately accesses the system kernel and interfaces with its work throughout the entire time. And, even as soon as you launch the gadget and it turns on, all the kernel functions have already started working.

Over time, various types of system garbage remain inside the system (kernel). It inevitably appears on any Android device, be it a tablet or a smartphone. And, periodically, it must be “cleaned out”. Therefore, it becomes more and more difficult for the system to work in a stable mode, and over time, “brakes,” “lags,” “glitches,” etc. appear. This can affect anything - any functions and capabilities of your tablet or smartphone. Figuratively, it’s as if the “gears” that previously rotated and interacted inside the device were perfectly clean and lubricated, now everything is covered in dust and sand, and rust has spread across them. Why does data transfer turn on automatically on Android?

    I have 2 smartphones. I use one, they call me on the other. The second without the Internet: I went to Beeline, turned off the Internet, turned off data transfer in the settings, turned off Wi-Fi. All. It doesn't convey anything.

    This happened to me when I installed several free applications on my Android phone from the play market and they updated themselves when they needed to and without my confirmation.
