Cancer problems from menarche to postmenopause. I National Scientific and Educational Congress "Oncological problems from menarche to postmenopause Key topics of the Congress

Dear Colleagues!

February 14-16, 2018 will take place in Moscow. The event was organized with the active participation of the FSBI “National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology named after IN AND. Kulakov ”of the Ministry of Health of Russia and the Russian Society of Specialists for the Prevention and Treatment of Tumors of the Reproductive System (ROSORS). The main task of ROSORS is to attract the attention of the entire medical community, healthcare organizers, manufacturers of medicines and equipment and, of course, the general public to the problems of detecting and treating cancer of the reproductive system. The regular National Scientific and Educational Congress "Oncological Problems from Menarche to Postmenopause" is one of the main key platforms for professional interaction of doctors in a given direction. The Congress is a large-scale event designed to consolidate specialists from different countries of the world to find ways to solve a wide range of urgent problems in the field of gynecological oncology.

Annual meetings of specialists at the Congress "Oncological Problems from Menarche to Postmenopause" under the flag of ROSORS pursue two important goals - popularization of modern achievements in fundamental and clinical medicine of precancerous and tumor diseases of the reproductive system, the formation of multicenter studies, including various regions of Russia in the problem of prevention, early diagnosis and effective therapy for malignant tumors in women. Particular attention will be paid to the problem of the growth of oncological processes in young people, as well as to the more frequent observations of cancer and pregnancy. In this topic, the issues of not only organ-preserving therapy will be discussed, but also modern reproductive technologies that provide the possibility of motherhood in locally advanced tumor processes. A number of leading specialists from clinics in Western and Eastern Europe have been invited to the Congress.

Based on a number of Congress decisions, follow-up efforts will be made to systemic implementations within national health. Thus, the joint work of the participants of the II National Scientific and Educational Congress "Oncological Problems from Menarche to Postmenopause" will make it possible to take a qualitative step towards maintaining women's health and reducing the incidence and mortality from cancer.

Participation in the Congress for doctors is free, registration on the website is required.

On February 13-15, 2017, the 1st National Scientific and Educational Congress "Oncological problems from menarche to postmenopause" will take place in Moscow. It will unite gynecologists, gynecological oncologists, mammologists, mammologists oncommologists and other interested specialists in the study of oncological diseases in women and the fight against them.

Over the past two decades, the problem of malignant tumors of the reproductive organs has acquired particular importance not only due to the intensive increase in morbidity, but also to a greater extent due to the increase in mortality, especially one-year mortality. The situation is aggravated by the fact that there is a clear tendency of morbidity rejuvenation, and this, in turn, increases the proportion of reproductive losses. Speaking about reproductive losses in oncology, it must be admitted that they reflect not only mortality, but also consist of the number of patients who underwent radical crippling treatment options. It should also be recognized that in modern oncology the problem of pregnancy and cancer increases its relevance every year, and the frequency of such a combination reaches 4-5%. Oncogynecology is an important area of modern oncology, gynecology and mammology. In the national health care system, there is a significant disunity (or distance) of gynecology, gynecological oncology and mammology. The analysis shows that more than 70% of patients with advanced (III-IV stages) variants of cancer of the reproductive organs have previously (within the previous 6 months) consulted doctors of various specialties (including obstetricians and gynecologists). A careful study of the sequence of events in the clinical course of cancer, most often it is necessary to state that the fatal outcome of the disease, almost in each specific case, could have been prevented.

The next, very important part of the problems of cancer of the reproductive organs is mammology. Given the intensive growth of breast cancer and the widespread prevalence of fibrocystic disease, there is an urgent need to integrate into the scope of obstetric and gynecological care the problems of prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of a number of benign pathological processes that are the background for the development of breast cancer. As an organ of the reproductive system, the mammary gland is subject to the systemic homeostasis of the female neuroendocrine system, which requires taking into account the originality of its functioning in different life periods. Understanding these issues entirely lies in the mainstream of obstetrics and gynecology, gynecological endocrinology.

Thus, women's health issues are extremely relevant within the framework of national health objectives. Their solution requires the work of highly educated professionals throughout the country. Until now, no single platform has been created for the interaction of doctors of several professions at once on issues of female oncology. The I National Scientific and Educational Congress is intended to tell about various aspects of gynecological oncology and become a common platform for discussion of oncologists, gynecologists and mammologists.

On February 12-14, 2019, Moscow will host III National Scientific and Educational Congress "Oncological problems from menarche to postmenopause", which is dedicated to the memory of academician A.F. Tsyba. The interaction of obstetricians-gynecologists, mammologists and oncologists at different stages, from diagnosis to rehabilitation, will be discussed. On February 11, a pre-course on benign breast and cervical pathology will take place.

Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the world. Every year the disease is rapidly "getting younger", which makes the alarm sound among specialists. On May 7, 2018, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, signed a decree, which outlines the priority directions of the country's development for the next period, up to 2024. Attention is largely focused on medicine, in particular on the National Cancer Control Program. That is why now there is an active unification of doctors of all specialties for the sake of one goal - the fight against oncology.

Over the past year, according to Rosstat, the mortality rate has increased in 30 out of 85 regions of Russia. The main reason is the detection of the disease at a late stage, when a cure is no longer possible. Almost a fifth of patients die within a year from the moment the disease was discovered. The III National Scientific and Educational Congress "Oncological Problems from Menarche to Postmenopause" will become a platform where specialists in the field of oncology, gynecology, mammology, radiation diagnostics and therapy will join forces in order not only to discuss pressing topics of the industry, but also to find specific solutions for a number of questions.

This year the Congress will be held in a new format. The program will be divided by specialty. A separate room will be allocated for each topic. This division will allow each participant to continuously receive knowledge during the event. Key topics covered a wide range of industry issues. A multidisciplinary approach will be taken to address a number of issues. During the discussion, it is planned to discuss methodological recommendations for obstetricians-gynecologists on the prevention of cancer of the reproductive organs, to develop common approaches to the treatment of precancerous pathology.

The scientific program has been supplemented with new topics on the late stages of oncological diseases. Also, the participants of the Congress will be introduced to the areas of responsibility of obstetricians and gynecologists in the implementation of the National Program "Oncology-2024".

Participation in the Congress for doctors is free, registration on the website is required.
