Who is Satan?
Researchers claim that at first he was the majestic angel Dennitsa, the crown of beauty and wisdom. Without its existence, we would never be able to take the righteous path, because we would not be able to distinguish light from dark, day from night. If this is not clear to you, then weigh it on the scales of following the righteous ancestors. If the righteous ancestors acted this way, then this is a good thought, and if sinful people do this, then this is a bad thought.
If this is not clear to you, then weigh it on the scales of the desires of nafs. Look, if your nafs by its nature runs away from the commission of this deed - then know that this is a good idea. If nafs by its nature is drawn to the accomplishment of this deed, then this is a bad thought, because nafs always commands to commit sinful things, never strives for good. "
As for the tricks of Satan, with which he blocks a person's path to sincere worship - there are seven of them.
1. Satan seeks to completely alienate the slave from worship. If Allah Almighty protects him, he will not obey the call of Satan and say to himself: "I really need good deeds, for I need to take with me provisions from this disappearing world for the world that has no end."
2. Satan instigates the slave to postpone worship for a while, and if Allah Almighty protects him, he will reject Satan, saying: “Death is not in my power, I am not able to change the time of death. If I put off until tomorrow the worship that I have to perform today - when will I commit the obligations of tomorrow, because every day has its own obligations, and death can come suddenly ?! ”.
3. Satan commands the slave to worship hastily, and makes the admonition: "Hurry up, finish your worship quickly in order to free yourself for such and such deeds," and if Allah Almighty protects him, he will reject Satan, saying: "The deed done fully and calmly, better than an act done hastily and with flaws. "
The religion of Islam approves of calmness, unhurriedness in actions, except in several cases, about which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “ Haste comes from Satan, except for five cases: the marriage of a girl upon reaching age, the return of a debt, the burial of the deceased, a guest treat and repentance when committing a sin ».
4. Satan commands the slave to worship calmly, humbly, but for show to people, and if Allah Almighty protects him, he will reject Satan, saying: "Why should I do this deed for the sake of people, because it is enough for me that Allah sees it."
5. Satan wants the slave to fall into u'zhba and turns to him: "How righteous you are, how clever you are." If Allah Almighty protects him, he will reject Satan, saying: “This is all - the Mercy of Allah shown in relation to me. He gave me help to accomplish this good deed and made it valuable, and if it were not for the Grace of Allah, then my deed would have no value. My obedience to Allah is very small compared to my sins. "
6. Satan comes to a slave in the following way, and this is the most dangerous of the mentioned ways, and no one notices this trick of Satan, except for the most discerning of the slaves. Satan turns to the slave: "You are zealous in performing acts secretly, later Allah Almighty himself will reveal this for people." By this, Satan wants the slave to fall into one of the types of riya. If Allah Almighty protects him, he will reject Satan and say: “O accursed one, you used to come to spoil my deeds, and now you come so that I can do them, but with the purpose of spoiling them. Indeed, I am a slave of Allah. He is my Lord, if He wishes, He will reveal my deeds, and if He wishes, He will keep it in secret. If He will, He will make me respectable, and if He will, He will make me humiliated. This is His business. I don’t care about this, I don’t care whether He will reveal my deeds for people or leave them hidden. People cannot do me any good or harm, for everything is in the power of Almighty Allah.
