Games with children on Easter. Who wouldn't want an Easter adventure? Eggs in spoons

Easter games and fun

Easter traditions in Rus' are very rich and interesting. The celebration of Easter in Russia has always included not only a solemn service in church, evoking a feeling of involvement in a miracle, but also many folk games and round dances, customs and beliefs. They include both the widespread and widespread congratulation that has survived to this day - the christening: “Christ is risen!” - “Truly He is Risen” (pronounced three times and people kissed three times, congratulating each other), as well as games for children and youth, which, unfortunately, are very rare in modern families.

Previously, not only the Easter holiday, but also the entire Easter week that followed it, was filled with entertainment: they danced in circles, swung on swings, walked through the streets singing songs, and went around houses with congratulations. The main entertainment of Easter week was games with colored eggs: rolling from a tray, beating, hiding and guessing eggs. And this is no coincidence - after all, for many peoples, the egg is a symbol of life, the awakening of nature, the earth, the sun. Some of the blessed eggs were kept throughout the year and used as a talisman against fire or as a talisman for crops against hail. They used to believe that a person who won a colored egg in a game would ensure health and wealth for the whole year ahead!

These are unique games, truly educational, entertaining, training ingenuity, sensorimotor coordination, spatial orientation and many other vital skills. important qualities and skills.

Egg twisting.

This game can be played by two people or large group. All players spin their eggs at the same time. Whose egg spins the longest is the winner. He takes the loser's egg.

Rolling eggs towards you.

Playing in pairs. Each player stands against the wall of the room. One says: “Christ is Risen!” The second one answers him: “Truly he is risen!” After this, the players roll the eggs along the floor towards each other. The goal is for the eggs to meet and collide. Whoever's egg breaks in this case gives it to the winner.

You can play this game with a large group. Then one team stands at one wall, and the other at the other wall. Each pair rolls their eggs towards each other. The task is to roll so that the eggs meet. If this happens, then the couple hugs (christens).

Game "Grandfather Horn"

Children stand in a circle, the child reads a rhyme and calculates:

By God's dew,

Along the priest's lane

There are cones, nuts,

Honey, sugar

Get out, Grandpa Rozhok!

Grandfather Rozhok sits in a corner with a willow twig, the children go to him, pronouncing words.

Children: Oh, Grandpa Rozhok,

Burnt a hole in my shoulder!

D. Rozhok: Who is afraid of me?

Children: Nobody!

The children run to their places, Grandfather Rozhok catches up with them, touching them with a willow twig.

Egg rolling game. (“Katochki”)

Place the colored eggs in a row at a distance of approximately 8-10 cm from each other.

Move 10, or better yet 20 steps away from them.

Take a small soft ball (patchwork, felt, leather) and roll or throw it. If the ball hits the egg, you win and take this egg for yourself, and your egg remains with you. Then you make the next move.

If your ball does not hit a single egg, then you pass the move to another player. And your egg remains in the general game.

The goal is to collect as many eggs as possible.

Usually on Easter day the sun always shines and it shines in a special way; people say that it “plays”.

Do you want to play with the sun? Stand in a circle.

Game "The Sun is Red"

Children stand in a circle and say:

The sun is red,

burn, burn clearly!

Fly into the sky like a bird,

Light up our land

So that gardens and vegetable gardens

To turn green, to bloom, to grow.

The sunshine child walks around in a circle, at the end of the words he stops and says “Hot!”

“Sunny” and the child stand with their backs to each other and run into different sides, trying to move forward to occupy an empty space in the circle. The remaining one becomes the “sun”.

Egg rolling
The eggs are rolled onto a wooden tray onto a flat surface, where before the start of the game the players lay out their eggs in a random or in a given order. The goal of the game is to hit your opponents' eggs. If a player touches someone else’s egg with his egg, he has the right to pick it up and continue the game until he misses. If a player misses, his egg remains on the line, and the turn passes to the next player.

Game "Take the egg"

a child left without an egg dances to the music.

Game "Blow off an egg."

This is one of the most fun children's games for Easter. A raw egg you need to pierce it with a needle in advance and empty it of its contents. Having divided the game participants into two teams, each is seated at a table opposite each other. The prepared egg should be placed in the middle of the table. At the same time, the participants in the game begin to blow on the egg, trying to blow it away to the opposite end of the table. The winner is the team that manages to blow the egg off the table.
Relay race.
Participants need to be divided into two groups and given each one 1 tablespoon, on which an egg is placed. At the command of the leader, a player from each group must run with a spoon in his teeth to the designated place, return and pass the spoon to the next player without dropping the egg. The team that completes the task first wins. If the egg falls, the player stops the relay for 30 seconds.

Game "Chasing Two Hares"

We put two dyes next to each other. You need to hit the third one so that they roll in different directions.

hiding eggs.

The game requires ingenuity and the ability to navigate in space. The game is similar to blind man's buff.

How to play:

1. An egg is placed on the ground (or in the modern version, on the floor, on a table, on a chair).

2. One girl is blindfolded and taken away from the place where the egg lies. The first time, girls rarely remember the “road”, later they themselves figure out that they need to count steps and remember turns in order to understand where they took you and where the egg is from you.

3. A girl blindfolded goes to the egg. She walks until she decides that she has already approached the egg (no one tells her and no one stops her).

Russian folk game "Sun - Bucket"

They choose a driver - “Sunny”, the rest of the children - “Sleeping”. They are singing:

The sun burns brighter -
Summer will be hotter
And the winter is warmer
And spring is nicer.

The players dance in a round dance to the first two lines. For the next two, they turn to each other and bow. Then they come closer to the “Sun”. It says, “It’s hot,” then catches up with the kids. The “Sun”, having caught up with the “Sleeper”, touches him. He “Wakes Up” (leaves the game).

Kids are playing .

If you have guests over for Easter or you are celebrating children's day birthday, falling on Easter days, you can arrange a memorable and colorful holiday for children in the folk spirit. Any Russian folk games are suitable, and especially ancient Easter games, among which the most famous is rolling Easter eggs.

Games with Easter eggs

Egg rolling

(spread bedding on the ground, prepare a roller groove)

While the guests are getting ready, you can start with egg rolling - a favorite ancient Russian Easter game. We spread a mat on the ground, on which we lay out toys, souvenirs, Easter eggs and other surprises. We install a wooden or cardboard trough-“skating rink”. Children take turns going to the “skating rink” and rolling an egg - a cue ball (you can use one egg or different ones for each player). The prize was the object that the egg touched.

"Chasing two birds with one stone"

(props: three wooden eggs)

When all the prizes have been won, you can continue the game.
We put two dyes next to each other. You need to hit the third one so that they roll in different directions.

"Hats"

(props – hats according to the number of players)

A leader is chosen, all players turn away. The presenter hides the egg under one of the hats. Players take turns trying to guess which one. The presenter lifts the hat that the player points to; the one who guesses becomes the leader.

When older children finish playing these games and move on to active tasks, you can invite the kids to roll eggs. Before this, you need to lay out toys for babies on the mat.

Russian folk games and fun

Egg relay

(draw a start line on the asphalt with chalk, and place a toy at the finish line, for example, a bucket; props - 2 spoons, 2 wooden eggs)

The players are divided into two teams and must run with an egg in a spoon to get to the finish line, go around the bucket and go back to pass the egg to the next teammate.

Tongue Twisters

The presenter invites the players to compare their strength in tongue twisters; he distributes cards to everyone with one tongue twister printed on them. Then he calls the competitors. First, each of the players reads the words of the text slowly and loudly so that its meaning is clear to everyone, after which, at the command of the leader, he pronounces the tongue twister at a fast pace. The winner is the one who did not blurt out the words and did not make a single mistake.

Tongue twisters can be anything. Depending on the age of the children, you should choose simple or complex, long or short tongue twisters. You will bring special joy to children if you select tongue twisters that mention their names.

Find the thimble

(props – thimble)

This is a very old game, about five hundred years old. The players leave the room, and at this time the leader hides the thimble somewhere, but so that it is in the field of view of the players. Then the presenter invites everyone who came out into the room, and they begin to look for the thimble with their eyes. When the player discovers the thimble, he sits down silently. Anyone who does not find a thimble in five minutes pays a forfeit.

Using this game, we seat the children at the table and feed them.

Children usually get full quickly and run away from the table after 10-15 minutes, while adults are interested in sitting at the table longer and chatting with each other. Therefore, it is advisable to provide games while adults are sitting at the table.

Children can play these games on their own with minimal adult guidance.

Confusion

Another game that preschoolers and children really like younger schoolchildren, - "Confusion." A driver is selected, who leaves or turns away for a while. Children stand in a circle and hold hands. Then they try in every possible way to “get confused”, while they can crawl under someone’s clasped hands, step over their hands, but they cannot open them. Upon returning, the presenter must untangle the “confusion.”

Geese

To play "Geese", two lines are drawn on the court at a distance of 10-15 meters from each other - two "houses". In one there are geese, in the other - their owner. Between the “houses under the mountain” lives a “wolf” - a leader. The owner and the geese conduct a dialogue with each other, known to everyone early childhood:
- Geese, geese!
- Ha-ha-ga.
- Do you want to eat?
- Yes Yes Yes.
- So fly!
- We are not allowed.
Gray wolf under the mountain
won't let us go home.

After these words, the “geese” try to run over to the “master”, and the “wolf” catches them. The caught "goose" becomes a "wolf".

Gifts from a traveler

One of the players is chosen as the driver, he goes on a journey, and all the players ask him to bring them from different cities present. They name the cities, but do not name the gifts - they do not yet know what their “relatives” will “send” to them.
It is better to name cities that are well-known and preferably different letters. The driver accepts all requests, says goodbye and goes on a journey, i.e. leaves the room.
The “journey” lasts no more than five minutes - during this time the driver must figure out who to bring what to. The name of the gift must begin with the same letter as the name of the city mentioned by each player. So, for example, someone who named the city Kaluga can bring a basket, a cat, a trough, a hoof, a wheel, cabbage, etc., and someone who named Stavropol can bring boots, a samovar, soup, a chest, etc.
The funnier the gift, the better. The driver’s main task is to remember who named which city, and it’s not difficult to come up with a gift for the corresponding letter.
The journey is over. Everyone congratulates the traveler on his safe arrival. The distribution of gifts begins.
“I visited your grandfather,” the driver addresses the one who named the city of Omsk, “he sent you a collar.”
The player must accept the gift, but if the driver made a mistake and did not name such a city, the gift is rejected. When more than five people are playing, one mistake is not taken into account, but for two mistakes the driver is fined - he is obliged to give away his forfeit.

We leave the most interesting part for last: searching for surprises.

This game can be played both in an apartment and at a summer cottage, in a garden, and even in a forest.

One of the elders hides it in advance different places eggs with surprises - cardboard, plastic, glued envelopes in the shape of eggs with small prizes (you can also hide “Kinder surprises”, popular among modern children). If there are a lot of children, you can divide them into two teams, each of which will try to win as many eggs as possible in the allotted time. Of course, we must try to ensure that each child finds at least one egg and takes it home as a prize.

If you took forfeits from your guests, then at the end of the holiday it’s time to play them. It is better to come up with tasks for forfeits in advance, for example, to portray some animal, profession or inanimate object; name 10 breeds of dogs, varieties of flowers or types of soup, say a few words in any foreign language and translate them into Russian, etc.

Happy holiday to you!
Christ is Risen!

Summary: Easter games. How to spend Easter with children. Easter holiday for children. Games for Easter. Competitions for Easter. Easter coloring pages.

Easter is a holiday that is usually spent with family and friends at a set table. But Easter traditions provide not only a festive meal, but also various games and entertainment - especially if there are children among those celebrating. We will tell you about what Easter games there are for children. On our website you will find not only outdoor games for Easter, but also educational Easter-themed games: memories, mazes, Easter egg search games, Easter coloring books.

Search for Easter eggs and surprises

This game can be organized both in an apartment and at a summer cottage or in the forest. It will be interesting to conduct it both with one child and with a group of children.

You will need colored eggs and small surprise prizes: candy, stickers, small toys, etc. An adult hides Easter eggs and prizes indoors or at a summer cottage in advance, and a child or group of children will have to find them. If there are a lot of children, you can divide them into two teams. Children take the surprises they find for themselves.

The simplest version of the game is to simply hide the gifts in different places. Unusual options for hiding places: stick it with tape under the seat of a chair or put it in the paws of a soft toy.

More difficult game options:

Before putting the prize in the cache, tie a thick thread to it, then walk around the apartment with this thread, entangling it with various objects on your way. The child finds the end of the thread and, winding it into a ball, reaches the prize. Use threads of different colors.

You can borrow an idea from the game “Cossacks-Robbers” by marking the path to the surprise with arrows.

The most interesting option is when a child finds a surprise from a series of notes. Moreover, the first note indicates where the second is hidden, the second - where the third, etc. From the last note, the child learns where the cache with the prize is.

Egg rolling

A traditional Easter game in Rus' is egg rolling. For these purposes, adults made a slide for children with sides on which eggs could be rolled. Small souvenirs and colored eggs were laid out around her on a flat surface. The playing children approached the slide one by one and each rolled their own egg. The winning item was the one the egg touched. The trajectory of the eggs is set by turning the slide.

An Easter slide for rolling eggs can be made from wood or regular cardboard, as in the photo below.

Competitions for Easter

How to spend Easter with children? Divide the kids into two teams and give them competitions and competitions for Easter.

Option 1.

Give each child a spoon and one egg (hard-boiled) for each team. Draw start and finish lines on the floor or ground. Children line up one after another at the starting line. Everyone has their own spoon in their hand. The first competitors from each team must put the egg in a spoon and, with the spoon in hand (or in their teeth), run to the finish line and back, and then pass the egg to the next player. Thus, all team members in turn must run with an egg in a spoon from start to finish and back, trying not to drop the egg. The team that completes the task faster and with the fewest number of eggs falling to the ground wins.

Option 2.

Each child is given a painted egg of a certain color. One egg should be white. A white egg is placed in the center of the room, after which each child must roll their egg once towards the white egg. The player whose egg is closest to the non-colored egg gets a point. The first one to score a certain number of points wins.

You can also draw a playing field with chalk or stick it with electrical tape, and the player whose egg rolls out of the field receives a penalty point (-1 point).

Option 3.

There has long been a tradition of clinking eggs with each other. The egg is picked up with the blunt or sharp end away from you and hit with it against the opponent’s egg. The winner is the one whose egg remains intact. The winner takes the loser's egg.

Labyrinths for children

Search games. Easter egg search

Easter is a religious holiday full of grandeur and deep meaning. But for children, this is, first of all, exciting painting of eggs, and then funny “battles” with paints. What games can you use to diversify children's leisure time during the Easter holidays?

Let us first turn to our Ukrainian traditions.

Easter bell

Someone announces the start of the game and the children quickly join hands, standing in a circle. Those who didn’t have time stand in the center of the circle. Now they are the “heart of the bell.” Players from the circle raise their hands to the “heart”, tease it with the following song: “Zen-boys, zen-zen!”, but so that the “heart” does not catch their hand. Whoever is caught by the hand goes to the “heart”, and the one who caught it takes his place in the “bell”.

Down the hill

Participants in the game sit on a mound (or on a sofa). One throws his paint down the slope (you can think of a groove or just an inclined plane), everyone else follows him, trying to get into the first paint. Whose painter breaks the other one takes the broken one for himself as a prize.

The battle

Each player chooses an egg. Clutching the paints in their palms so that only the sharp tips stick out, the players beat one egg against another. If one of the eggs breaks from the sharp end, it is turned over in the hand and the blunt end is exposed. The egg, broken on both sides, is given to the winner.

Find blindfolded

The paint is placed on the ground. One of the participants stands at a distance from her. He is blindfolded, now he needs to take exactly ten steps forward. After this, his eyes are untied and the player must, without leaving his place, reach for the paint. If you get it, you win.

Hats

Before the game starts, the number of hats must correspond to the number of players. After choosing a leader, all players turn away. The presenter hides the egg under one of the hats. Players take turns trying to guess where exactly it is. The leader raises this hat, which the player points to; if he guesses correctly, he becomes the leader.

There are also fun things borrowed from other nations.

Easter egg hunt

Classic game: You will need a garden or yard. In principle, you can play at home. Beforehand, adults hide Easter eggs in the grass, under a bush, in a closet or behind the sofa. Whoever finds the most eggs wins.

Eggs in spoons

In this game you can replace real paints with plastic or wooden ones. Children can take plastic spoons in their hands (or teeth), put an egg in each spoon and race from point A to point B. Whoever gets the egg to its destination the fastest without dropping it wins.

Guess what's inside

If you have a younger preschooler and sufficient quantity plastic eggs that open, then you can pour small objects like beads, cereal, matches, etc. into each egg. And then try to let them guess what is rustling there.

This is a simple competition as a warm-up for the brain. Whoever remembers and gives the answer the fastest wins a prize. The questions are: eggs with their own designs? (paintings); eggs in the same color? (colors); eggs painted using a special technology? (pysanky); eggs with a plain background and spots or stripes? (speckles); painted eggs with a scratched pattern? (rags); decorative eggs made of wood, for example, or beads? (eggs).

Easter Quiz

The competition is quite simple and does not require much effort from guests. The presenter asks questions, and whoever is the first from the audience to raise their hand answers. If the answer is correct, the participant earns his point. At the end, you can select 3 prizes, for example, with certain awards. Questions may be of the following nature: bread kvass, distributed in Orthodox Church, and they say that if you drink it on an empty stomach, you can get rid of all diseases (artos); name a product or object that is made before Easter in Bulgaria, it is thrown out of the window during the holiday, and the one who picks up a fragment of this object will find happiness (pot); the word "Easter" comes from the Hebrew word meaning "passes by", from the Egyptian expression "bestows light" or from the Romans "unearthly joy" (from Hebrew); this is the name for the solemn ringing of bells at Easter (blagovest); and Easter cookies in Poland, and the name of the dance (mazurka) and so on.

Fight, don't be afraid

Guests are divided into pairs. The host asks riddles to each pair, and whoever guesses first gets the right to be the first to beat the egg. Riddles can be very different, depending on the age and circle of guests, for example: the sun is shining brightly and birds are singing around, everyone has red... (testicles) on the table today; painstaking work before the holiday in the oven to bake delicious and rich miracles - ... (Easter cakes); Everything in the house is clean, but my soul is joyful, like in a fairy tale, because everyone is prepared for... (Easter) and so on. Then, in pairs, the participant who first guessed the riddle beats his partner’s egg. Whoever's egg remains intact has the right to make a wish, which the guest grants, with a broken egg.

Fun rides

In this competition, children will simply have fun, and adults can resort to knowledge of physics and mathematics, calculating the trajectory and speed. The participants' task is to roll their egg down a slide, which can be used as a board, or to make a special slide out of plastic. Whose egg stops the farthest wins. For general interest, multiple winners may be selected.

Each of the guests takes turns writing on a common sheet 3 words that he associates with today, for example, holiday, joy, eggs, and so on. Then the presenter announces that it is the turn to write a story or sing a song, that is, each of the guests, only in reverse order from the beginning of the sheet (from the first words), must make up sentences from which the Easter story will be built. At the request of the guests, you can make up not a story, but sing a song, whoever is good at what, in general.

Delicious Easter cake

For this competition it is necessary to prepare several small Easter cakes that the participants will eat. You need to be the fastest to eat your cake without using your hands. The most dexterous and fastest one wins a prize.

This is an interesting and fun fortune telling, a competition for the most interesting and fun future. But before the start, the host does not say anything to the guests. The task of each participant is to take turns going outside and name 3 objects they saw. When all the guests are outside, everyone stands up in turn and names their objects, for example, grass, sun, puddle. And the host turns on his imagination and talks about what awaits the guests in the future. For example, grass - good luck awaits you and green light in any endeavor, sun, you will shine like the sun, warming everyone with your warmth, a puddle - you saw it, which means you have been warned, and no one can put you in a puddle.

Fun coloring pages

For this competition you will need eggs (wooden, chicken, paper, etc.), paints and brushes. For a certain time, each of the guests must decorate their egg in their own way, while trying to do it very beautifully and better than the others. The best decorated one is chosen by voting method Easter Egg(maybe several), for which guests receive their prizes.
