About MGOTU
The Technological University (formerly the Financial and Technological Academy) is primarily focused on the training of highly qualified practitioners in demand at the city-forming enterprises of the city of Korolev and the regional labor market as a whole. : blue-collar occupations, professions of the engineering and technological sphere, economics, management, thus completely covering the personnel needs of modern industry. At the basic departments, MGOTU students undergo practical training directly in production, acquiring the necessary competencies that will allow them to become highly qualified and in-demand specialists in the labor market.
In June 2014, the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Yuryevich Vorobyov instructed to work out the issue of creating a scientific and educational cluster of aerospace and defense-industrial sectors "North-East", which will become an educational and scientific resource and will unite educational institutions of all levels: schools, secondary vocational, higher and postgraduate education. The base university of the newly created cluster is the Technological University.
