Mironov) to mutually cleanse themselves of each other's traces. Despite several reminders, our articles (in particular, psychological biographies of some scientists, an article on the MT test, etc.) have not been deleted so far. On the one hand, we are glad that we are appreciated and respected without counting on reciprocity, but on the other hand, we want to wish V. Mironov to learn how to maintain statistics on the attendance of his site through legal agreements.

Reception and processing of completed MT test forms has been completely stopped.

Socionics has been very popular lately. This is due to an interesting scientific theory that divides people into 16 types. Graduation occurs on the basis of a person's perception of the information flow, broadcasting it in the field of building relationships. The test for determining the socionic type is focused on the cognition of the basic functions and feelings that move a person. Its result will explain the nature of certain actions in certain situations, and will show the strengths and weaknesses of the character.

The peculiarity of the test for determining the socionic personality type

The theory is based on four faculties: thinking, feeling, sensing, and intuitive. At the same time, each function is divided by psychological attitudes focused on one's own self and the outside world. For ease of perception of information, each personality type is dedicated to a famous person who left an indelible mark on the history of mankind or literature (Dostoevsky, Dumas, Zhukov, Gorky, etc.).

The online test, which allows the determination of the socionic personality type, is quite possible to use as a tool for gaining knowledge about oneself and others. The latter should be put into practice in order to improve relationships of any kind.

Faced with the question of how to define your personality types in these typologies. Unfortunately, there are currently no 100% reliable methods. But if you use several different methods, you can get a result that is quite acceptable from the point of view of reliability.

Before typing, you need to know a few important points.

  1. The most common misconception is that the socionic type completely and completely determines the character of a person, his habits and behavior. This is not so, in fact, the sociotype is the characteristics of the perception of information, a kind of filter that allows certain types of information to pass through. Since a person's behavior depends on the information he receives, the sociotype, of course, influences, but one should not forget about other factors: previous experience, upbringing, values, which can also have no less influence.
  2. Psychosophical and socionic types can be combined with each other in any way. Moreover, some of the combinations are harmonious, while others are contradictory. As a rule, harmonious combinations are easily typed, and contradictory ones give a wide range of versions both in socionics and in psychosophy. More about how such combinations affect the person himself is described in the article "The relationship of socionics and psychosophy".
  3. According to the descriptions, certain types may or may not be liked, which may affect the desire to "get / not get into this type." To prevent this from happening, it is advisable to read type descriptions only at the final stage of typing, after the typer has named his version (or several versions).
  4. Type descriptions are written with harmonious combinations, so the owners of conflicting combinations can hardly recognize themselves. But even in harmonious types, complete coincidence with the description is rare. Normal for socionics is the coincidence of the description by 70-80%. In addition, almost all descriptions of socionic types that exist now include a lot of things that in fact have nothing to do with socionics as the doctrine of information metabolism (the so-called "behavioral descriptions"). The most free from this are functional descriptions posted on the Wikipedia site in the article "Socionic type", as well as descriptions by Yulia Kolesnichenko, posted on our site SOCTYPE.RU.
  5. In psychosophy, it is advisable to read descriptions not of types in general, but of functional descriptions by Afanasyev himself or Alexandra Vasilenko aka Spyke. Descriptions of psychosophical types in general from Afanasyev show well the connection between the type and the worldview of a person, but it is rather difficult to recognize oneself by them.

Tests. Where does typing begin? Most people start by taking tests, as this is the fastest way to get results, but also the most unreliable. Therefore, it is advisable to pass all available tests several times in various states: in the morning, upon waking up, in the evening (at night), when he begins to feel sleepy, and during the day, at the peak of activity.

If you have a harmonious combination of TIM and PY-type, then the spread will be small: 2-3 types maximum, which will differ from each other by one or two dichotomies. (You can see the table of correspondence between types and characteristics in the article "How the socionic type is formed.") And those characteristics that coincide can be considered reliably determined. If the range of types is significantly greater (more than 4 types), then most likely you have a contradictory combination of TIM and PY-type, and you need to resort to more reliable methods.

Questionnaire typing. Questionnaire typing has an optimal balance between time consumption and reliability of results. The main difficulty in determining the type from the questionnaire is the inability to check the reliability of the responses of the typed person. There are several reasons for this: this is the desire to be better (or worse) than it really is, and the switch from basic to role-playing, and the distortion of quadral values.

Therefore, it is recommended to fill out the questionnaire in a calm atmosphere, removing all irritants (radio, telephone, TV, third-party sites in the browser). After filling it out, it is advisable to show the questionnaire to a person who knows you well and whom you trust. If he decides this questionnaire is absolutely not about you, then the typing reliability will be low and it is advisable to re-fill the questionnaire.

It is desirable to be typed by questionnaires where typists typed by both typologies: socionics and psychosophy. An example of such a site is TIPIRUEM.RU. It is advisable to start the definition of the type with the psychosophical type, and only then move on to the socionic type, since the psychosophical type is less susceptible to distortions.

In simple cases, typing according to the questionnaire goes to a specific type, in more complex cases, two most probable versions are given (or two possible combinations of TIM + PY-type). After these versions are named by typers, you should read the descriptions of the types, tell the typists about the inconsistencies found, and also report the versions obtained as a result of tests. This will provide additional information on the basis of which the version can be corrected (or vice versa, the typers will explain to you why these inconsistencies are irrelevant). Don't be afraid to ask additional questions or even argue with typists! Do not forget that you know yourself all your life, and they are about you - only what you wrote about yourself in the questionnaire.

If as a result of all this it was not possible to come to an unambiguous version or you still have doubts, it makes sense to try to prototype using other methods.

Appearance typing. Appearance typing is one of the most controversial issues, especially in socionics. There are both opponents and supporters of this method. From the point of view of the Unified Typological Project, typing by appearance is possible if the type is immediately visible, and such typing cannot be described using formal signs (although in some social schools such attempts have been made), it can only be learned empirically.

Therefore, when typing, it is still advisable to attach several photos to the questionnaire: perhaps this will provide additional information that helps to determine in difficult cases, especially when the results of the questionnaire typing yield two TIMs that are unlike each other.

Alternative typing techniques. This includes projective typing and handwriting typing. With projective typing, you will be asked to draw a picture on a given topic (for example, a house, tree and person), which will be used to determine the type. When typing by handwriting, you will be asked to send a scan of any text you have written. Both approaches are good in that they allow you to minimize the influence of type distortions as a result of accumulated (or, conversely, insufficiently worked out) experience and the influence of the environment. However, at the moment these techniques are rather in an experimental state, in addition, a fairly small number of typists own these techniques.

Typing in the form of an interview. It can be carried out either in person or using remote means of communication (Skype, Mail.Agent) and, as a rule, is a paid service. It is widely believed that such typing "among professionals" or "in socionic schools" is the most reliable. This statement is only true for individual consultations lasting at least 30 minutes. Various group express typing, when a group of ten or more people is typed in an hour, asking each of them 3-4 questions, are comparable in reliability only with typing by tests and photos. In addition, typing should be done by professional typists, that is, those who have the availability of articles, books, speeches at conferences and a holistic, complete view of socionics.

Self-typing. In socionic circles, there is an opinion that it is impossible to independently determine your TIM (in some communities it comes to discrimination of self-typed ones). This is not true. It is quite possible to determine your personality type both in socionics and in psychosophy, however, for this you need to adequately perceive yourself, not divide the types into "bad" and "good" and deeply understand the corresponding typology.

In particular, in socionics, it is necessary to study not only the dichotomies of the Young's basis, but to understand well the semantics of the aspects described in aspectonics, to study the properties of the functions of model A, to determine the quadral values and at least 2 or 3 Reinin signs. If the results obtained using all of the above are consistent, we can talk about a reliable definition of TIM.

In psychosophy, to determine the type, one should study not only the features of the manifestation of a function in a particular position, but also additional signs: processionality / effectiveness, consistency / inconsistency (he is adapting / dominant), high / low, as well as the features of the influence of Will on others functions.

And once again I would like to emphasize: in no case should you self-type yourself according to descriptions!

In conclusion, it remains to note that you should not perceive your personality type as a sentence. There are no good or bad types (although there are more or less demanded by society at a certain stage of its development). Socionic TIM is just an indicator of the potential for development in certain areas of activity, and the psychosophical type is an indicator of the subjective significance of these areas. The decision of what to do with this: whether to develop weak functions in order to be no worse than others in any business, or to focus on achieving results in strong functions, entrusting the dual to cover the weak, is up to you.

Today many people are interested in the science of socionics. Knowing your socionic type can be useful. The test compiled by V.V. Gulenko, will allow you to determine your socionic personality type in just a few minutes. The test includes 72 questions and is aimed at an assiduous person. To pass the test, you need to arm yourself with a minimum knowledge of psychological science and patience. You need to try to answer as honestly as possible, without thinking about the questions for a long time. The test proposed by V.V. Gulenko, you will remember it for a long time. It is very interesting and informative.

Benefits of taking the test

The test itself does not look like something special, it will be intuitive to everyone. The author of the test is Gulenko Viktor Vladimirovich. He developed a unique method for determining the socionic type of a person. Having understood himself, a person will be able to build productive relationships with others in the future, to choose the right profession for himself. Knowing your own socionic type will allow you to expand your ideas about yourself and the world around you as a whole. People who doubt themselves should first take a test to stop scolding their own personality. Overly impressionable persons with the help of the test will be able to establish contact with their inner essence, to understand the disturbing situation. In any case, the questionnaire will help you find peace of mind, make the right decision, improve your own personality, change your attitude towards many unforeseen and traumatic events.

The principle of dividing people into socionic types

V.V. Gulenko, in his research, insists that each person has his own leading direction in the perception of the world around him. Some are guided by sounds, sights, smells and colors. Others prefer to rely on intuition and no logical reasoning will convince them. Most people reason with logical thinking. For many, the opinion of society, a view from the outside, is extremely significant.

The principle of dividing people into socionic types underlies the science of socionics. The test allows you to identify the individuality of a person, her true aspirations and motives for action. The test touches upon the topics of introversion and extroversion of a person. If the experiences of the first are directed deep into their own personality, then in the second they extend to the people around them. Depending on this feature, the same socionic type will acquire a different meaning.

Boolean type

People of this type make decisions based only on reason. They are not satisfied with premonitions that cannot be confirmed by anything. The ethical-intuitive introvert values trust, seeks to build honest, sincere relationships with people. Since he does not always manage to do this, he tends to get upset about any unforeseen event. Mentally, he is always looking for in those around him that he himself is ready to give them, he recognizes an equivalent exchange. Condemns deception and betrayal, does not betray his own convictions.

Touch type

The sensory personality type is most focused on getting vivid impressions from the outside world. A person of this type cannot be in the same space for a long time, he needs a change of impressions. Visual, auditory, olfactory images, tactile sensations are of great importance.

Sensory-logical extrovert is a type of personality, which is not alien to achieve the goal at any cost. If this person has thought of something, he will strive and will never back down. To many from the outside, he seems overly straightforward, persistent and uncompromising.

Decisions are made slowly, tend to go into deep thought. They have a well-developed intuition, they know how to feel the situation from the inside and draw conclusions based on their own emotions.

The intuitive-logical extrovert does not like routine and monotony. He wants to constantly experience new sensations, try the unknown, study some books. Such a person is very well-read, loves to communicate with like-minded people, needs a large company.

The intuitive-ethical extrovert is often endowed with an artistic talent who loves to experiment. He appreciates society, but only if it does not interfere with his creation.

Intuitive-ethical introvert is a subtle dreamer. This is a person whose mood is unstable and changes like the weather. From joy, he can abruptly turn to tears and vice versa.

Thus, the test compiled by V.V. Gulenko, is a useful thing. The questionnaire will help you determine your goals for the future, find out your own character and aspirations.
