What does the tabernacle look like in the Old Testament? The structure of the tabernacle is a biblical commentary. Opinions on the meaning of the Tabernacle and Temple

SECRETS OF THE TABERNACLE or what Moses kept silent about

In the previous part of this chapter, we talked about the history of the appearance of the mobile temple “Tabernacle” among the Jews, as well as about its builders and general structure.

But this “Tabernacle” has long been gone, and biblical texts, as well as individual ancient historians, describe it differently. Therefore, we must treat these descriptions that have come down to us with a certain degree of doubt and, when studying the question of the Tabernacle, be guided by the wise rule, “trust, but verify.”

This is what the scientist-engineer Alexander Sigalo (http://desertmishkan.blogspot.com/) decided to do in his time, who wrote a short work on the structure of the Tabernacle.

Alexander Sigalo, explored several interesting issues.

In particular, he checked the Bible's message that the disassembled Tabernacle, since it was a marching temple of the Jews, was transported on four carts and eight oxen on their travels through Sinai and then Canaan. That is, two bulls per cart.

And this is what he writes: “If we take the volume of the furniture of the tabernacle assigned to the sons of Myrari in cubic meters (this is a known quantity), this is what we get: 80 cubic meters.

According to the Talmud - 80 cubic meters - looks like one large sea shipping container!

“In my calculations, I use values that are as close as possible to real life.

Unfortunately, for a more accurate calculation, the help of specialists in many scientific fields will be required.

Nevertheless, these calculations reflect the overall picture quite well.

The weight of the tabernacle according to Rav. Nekhimii from Vav. Talmud:

Shitiim tree – 780 kg/m³

Talent of Gold - 34 kg

Elbow – 45 cm.

8 oxen were given for transportation.

8 huge oxen can transport: (1500kg x 1.5 load capacity) x8 oxen = 18000 kg = 18 tons load capacity.

The weight of each beam of the tabernacle: (0.675x0.45x4.5) x780 kg/m³ = 1.366875m³ x 780 kg/m³ = 1066.1625 kg.

Total weight of 48 bars of the tabernacle: 48x1066.1625 kg. = 51175.8 kg.

Weight of each pillar of the tabernacle tent: (0.45x0.45x4.5) x780 kg/m³ = 0.91125m³ x 780 kg/m³ = 710.775 kg

Weight of all pillars of the tent of the tabernacle: 710.775 kg x 9 = 6396.975 kg.

The weight of all the bases for the tent poles: (4 silver x 17 kg) + (5 copper x 17 kg) = 153 kg.

The weight of each pillar of the court of the tabernacle (1.35 x 0.01125 x 2.25) x 780 kg/m³ = 0.11390625 m³ x 780 kg/m³ = 88.846875 kg.

Weight of all pillars of the courtyard of the tabernacle: 88.846875 kg. x 60 = 5330.8125 kg.

Weight of gold for the tent: 20x34 kg. = 680 kg

Total: 51175.8 kg + 1632 kg + 6396.975kg + 153kg + 5330.8125kg. + 680 kg. = 564688.5875kg = 56.46 tons.

The weight of the tabernacle according to my reconstruction

Shitiim tree – 780 kg/m³

Talent of Gold - 34 kg

Silver\Copper Talent is approximately half of the Gold Talent or 17 kg.

Weight of a Very Large Ox – 1.5 tons or 1500 kg

Pulling Weight of an Ox – 1.5 times its weight

Elbow – 45 cm.

Total gold for the tabernacle: (Exodus 38:24) – out of 29 I will take 20 talents.

8 oxen were given for transportation (Numbers 3:36 and Numbers 7:8).

Light parts, such as tabernacle bolts, stakes, ropes, etc., I will not count. The weather doesn't do it.

8 huge oxen can transport: (1500 kg x 1.5 load capacity) x 8 oxen = 18000 kg = 18 tons load capacity.

The weight of each beam of the tabernacle: (0.675x0.01125x4.5) x780 kg/m³ = 0.034171875m³ x 780 kg/m³ = 26.6540625 kg.

Total weight of 50 bars of the tabernacle: 50x26.6540625 kg. = 1332.703125 kg.

Total weight of 96 silver sockets of the tabernacle under the beams: 96x17kg = 1632 kg.

Weight of each pillar of the tabernacle tent: (0.675x0.01125x4.5) x780 kg/m³ = 0.034171875m³ x 780 kg/m³ = 26.6540625 kg

Weight of all pillars of the tent of the tabernacle: 26.6540625 kg x 9 = 239.8865625 kg.

The weight of all the bases for the tent poles: (4 silver x 17 kg) + (5 copper x 17 kg) = 153 kg.

The weight of each pillar of the courtyard of the tabernacle (1.35 x 0.01125 x 2.25) x 780 kg/m³ = 0.034171875 m³ x 780 kg/m³ = 26.6540625 kg.

Weight of all pillars of the courtyard of the tabernacle: 13.32703125 kg. x 60 = 799.621875 kg.

Weight of gold for the tent: 20x34 kg. = 680 kg.

Total: 1332.703125 kg + 1632 kg + 239.8865625 kg + 153 kg + 1599.24375 kg + 680 kg. = 5636.8334375 kg = 5.63 tons.

So the numbers speak for themselves. And the Tabernacle turned out to be much lighter than they thought.

But if we take the thickness of the beams as 1 cubit, then transporting all the accessories of the tent on 8 oxen is physically impossible.

Then A. Sigalo, for the first time, made calculations and computer modeling of the “Tabernacle” and its individual parts, which allowed us to clearly imagine its structure!

And obviously, based on these calculations, enterprising businessmen produced construction sets - models of the Tabernacle - for sale

And what A. Sigalo did, see for yourself:

Corner boards of the Western Wall of the Tent

"And thou shalt make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle on the back side. And let their two parts be closed together at the bottom, and let their two parts be closed together at the top, forming a hollow cylinder: so shall it be with both of them; for both corners let them be."

Exodus 26:23-26:24

Each corner board consisted of two boards of the same length, height, thickness and design as all the other boards of the tent. These two boards were bent into two identical hollow half-cylinders and, when joined together, they formed a single hollow cylinder which became the corner board. Each of these hollow cylindrical boards was 10 cubits high, with an outer diameter of 1 cubit, an inner diameter of 3/π=0.9549 cubits, and a thickness of 0.5-(1.5/π)=0.0225 cubits.

In total, the Tent was made from 48 parts and 50 boards. (46 straight boards and 4 curved boards, which made up

2 corner boards)

Columns of the Tent

“And thou shalt make a curtain of blue, and scarlet, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; let them work it with cunning work, with cherubs. And thou shalt lay it on four pillars of shittim, overlaid with gold, with gold hooks, on four sockets of silver.” -Exodus 26:31-32

The four internal columns were located on the north-south central line, which passed through the seventh planks from the western wall of the Tent.

The columns were hollow wooden cylinders overlaid with gold, 10 cubits high, with an outer diameter of 0.5 cubits, an internal diameter of 1.5/π=0.4774 cubits, and a thickness of 0.5-(1.5/π)=0.0225 cubits.

The curtain hung from the columns towards the Ark of the Covenant.

And thou shalt make a curtain at the entrance of the tent of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, embroidered work. And thou shalt make five pillars of shittim for the curtain, and overlay them with gold; their hooks are gold; and pour out for them five sockets of brass. - Exodus 26:36-37

Five columns were on the east side, essentially forming the façade of the Tent. The columns were hollow wooden cylinders overlaid with gold, 10 cubits high, with an outer diameter of 0.5 cubits, an internal diameter of 1.5/π=0.4774 cubits, and a thickness of 0.5-(1.5/π)=0.0225 cubits.

The curtain at the entrance to the Tent hung from the columns outward, towards the east.

Dimensions and design of the Tent Courtyard

The length of the courtyard is one hundred cubits, and the width is fifty against fifty; The height (of the curtain) was five cubits of fine twined linen, and the sockets of it were of brass - Exodus 27:18

The dimensions of the Tent's courtyard are not directly indicated in terms of length expressed in cubits. Instead, they are specified in terms of the geometric shape of the courtyard, the length of the tent curtains, and the number of columns.

However, from the original description and with the help of simple arithmetic calculations, it is easy to understand that the courtyard was 110 cubits by 55 cubits with 60 wooden hollow cylindrical columns, each of which was 5 cubits high, 0.5-(1.5/π) = 0.0225 cubits thick, external diameter 0.5 cubits and internal diameter 1.5/π=0.4774 cubits.

The distance from the middle of one column to the next one was 5.5 cubits.

Each court curtain that hung between the columns measured 5 cubits by 5 cubits. The silver ties between each pair of columns were also 5 cubits long.

Based on all these calculations, A. Sigalo compiled the most reliable and detailed plan of the “Tabernacle”. This completely dispelled all the mystical layers regarding the structure of the “Tabernacle”, guided by which you can easily build everything yourself. Without waiting for Jehovah to appear. There would be time, desires and opportunity.

And such science fanatics were found. And they even built life-size Tabernacles on the site.

What they did and what it looked like, you can see these photos.

But the Tabernacle, in addition to its purpose as a mobile one - a temple for the Jews, also had a purpose hidden from the people.

Scientists have long paid attention to this side of it, apparently known only to Moses and the high priest Aron. There were also several jobs. But it’s better to convey this question in a popular form to my readers Furduy R.S. in his book "The Beauty of Mystery 2"

"Now we will talk about an amazing artifact of extraterrestrial origin.

We will talk about a biblical tale that tells the story of the communication of Patriarch Moses with God.

Actually, we have already mentioned Moses and the plot of the exodus from Egypt in the chapter on the manna machine.

It turns out that Moses received from God not only the machine that fed the Jews - the "Old Old Man", but also something else.

According to the texts, Moses and his fellow tribesmen, while wandering in the desert, met God, who descended “in fire” to the top of Mount Sinai:

There he listened and memorized detailed instructions on how to build and equip a special mobile prefabricated temple - a tabernacle, thanks to which Moses was able to periodically maintain, in modern technical language, two-way visual-conversational communication with God.

In addition to oral instructions, Moses received from God a finished part - the so-called “stone tablets”.

"...Moses came down from the mountain; in his hands were two tablets of the revelation (stone), on which there was writing on both sides: on both sides it was written; the tablets were the work of God and the writings inscribed on the tablets were letters of God." ("Exodus", 32.15-16)

Having built all the components of the tabernacle according to God’s instructions, mounted it and placed the tablets received on the mountain in a special casket - the ark of revelation, Moses gained the opportunity to periodically communicate with God, which he regularly did during the long forty years of the tribe’s wanderings in the desert.

How was the tabernacle built?

According to biblical texts, the tabernacle mounted on the ground was a rectangular structure measuring 28 x 40 cubits, strictly oriented to the cardinal points (extended from west to east). The plan of the tabernacle, according to the descriptions of Josephus, is shown in Fig. 10, where 1-5 are the beams of the tabernacle itself, its courtyard and the entrance to it; 6 - offerings"; 8 - 9 - seven-lamp 11 - altar of all things and the entrance to it; 6 - ark; 7 - table for the "showbread"; 8 - altar for incense; 9 - seven-lamp lamp; 10 - laver.

The tabernacle was mounted from vertically placed, closely connected, rather large beams, fastened at the top with horizontal poles.

Special coverings were hung on all sides of the tabernacle. Thus, the tabernacle was actually a large rectangular tent.

There were 20 such beams installed on the southern and northern sides of the tabernacle, and 8 on the western sides. They were fastened with poles made of the same shittim wood (desert acacia), overlaid with gold.

Inside, the tabernacle was divided into two parts by a partition consisting of four pillars, overlaid with gold, on silver sockets.

A cloth curtain was hung on the partition, dividing the tabernacle into two rooms - front and back, the so-called. Holy of holies.

The partition probably also served as an additional support for the roof of the tabernacle, which consisted of a cloth panel and two layers of leather.

Finally, on the eastern side of the tabernacle, through which the priest-priest entered, five pillars overlaid with gold were installed on cast copper stools.

All these details were clearly specified: how many pillars and what height to install on each side of the tabernacle, what material to make their stools from, etc.

Inside the tabernacle there was twilight, because... there were no windows in it, and the only source of lighting, and even then only in the front part, separated by a curtain from the back, was a lamp of seven lamps with olive oil.

Probably, such twilight in the Holy of Holies was programmed, for it was in this room, as the Bible states, that the image of God appeared in a “cloud of fire” with whom Moses “came into contact.”

Around the tabernacle there was a rectangular fence concentrically surrounding it (50 x 10 cubits), consisting of 60 pillars five cubits high each, i.e., half the height of the pillars of the tabernacle itself.

The pillars of this fence were spaced 3.5 cubits apart (while the spacing between the pillars of the tabernacle itself was only 0.5 cubits). The pillars of the court of the tabernacle were made of the same shittim wood, overlaid with silver and set on bases of brass; a cloth curtain was hung over them.

Adjoining the courtyard of the tabernacle from the east was the so-called entrance to the courtyard - a rectangle formed by six pillars 15 cubits high from the north and south and four - 20 cubits high - from the east. The entrance pillars were overlaid with silver, stood on copper bases, and had curtains of fabric hung on them. Analyzing this description, you are amazed at the number and size of the parts that made up the frame of the tabernacle. In order to stretch the not so large tent, 57 (!) beams of impressive size were used.

First of all, we note that the design in question had a significant conducting surface and could be used as a passive reflective system for meter-wave radio waves.

This is evidenced by the following data. All dimensions of the tabernacle (its long sides, the long sides of its fence, the distance between the tabernacle itself and the fence, the height of the pillars, etc.) turn out to be multiples of the length of 10 cubits. In other words, this entire system was an effective reflective device for radio waves with a wavelength of X = 20 cubits (or AU2 = 10 cubits).

If we convert this into meters using the cubit value (and in the ancient world it ranged from 44 to 54 cm), then the wavelength will accordingly be from 8 to 12 m, i.e. we have a meter (ultra-short wave from 20-30 megahertz) radio range .

The bars of the tabernacle, 10 cubits high (Fig. 12, 4), could play the role of half-wave vibrators, short-circuited at the top with conductive poles; the bars of the courtyard of the tabernacle, 5 cubits high, could act as quarter-wave vibrators, open-circuited at the top; above.

All these elements interact most effectively with wave A, = 20 cubits. It is known that in the radio frequency range under consideration, dry soil (in this case, desert sand) is a conductor.

To effectively reflect a wave, it is necessary to have a conducting surface in which the existence of vertical slots is permissible. This is exactly what is realized in the design of the tabernacle.

It is also very significant that with the considered parameters of the antenna array, the error in the installation of its elements (bars) should not have exceeded 25 cm, which could well have been ensured by the “maintenance personnel” - the priests. If the tabernacle had been designed for a range of shorter radio waves (for example, centimeter), then the parts of the device could not have been assembled by the priests of Moses with the required accuracy.

We also note that the meter radio range is less susceptible to the influence of atmospheric interference (lightning discharges) and precipitation than the decimeter and centimeter ranges.

So, the tabernacle could well serve as a passive reflective grid for meter-wave radio waves.

But it could also be another radio device, namely, part of a receiving and transmitting structure.

Calculations show that with a wavelength half that of the reflected one (i.e., 10 cubits), the tabernacle could serve as a guiding antenna for the irradiator, located in the place where the ark was installed in it.

The western wall of the tabernacle could play the role of a reflector (reflector), and the partition inside it, the eastern wall and the elements of the “entrance to the courtyard” - directors (directors).

The fact that the tabernacle served Moses as a means of two-way remote communication (with God) is mentioned many times in the text.

To do this, Moses at a certain time had to enter inside the Holy of Holies and stand near the ark, above the lid of which an image of God appeared between the figures of two cherubim, and his voice was heard.

The most important detail of the entire biblical radio-technical device was, undoubtedly, the “tables of stone” - two tables made of stone, which Moses received ready-made from the hands of God and placed in the ark.

All other parts of the tabernacle were made by Moses' craftsmen according to the instructions received, but they could not make the tablets themselves.

It is amazing that the main shrine of the temple, kept in a casket made of precious metal, was made, as the Bible states, ... from simple stone. The logical conclusion from this may be the following: the substance from which the tablets were made only seemed like stone to the nomadic pastoralists.

In their poor vocabulary of that time there were simply no other words to refer to this material. Judging by the text, few saw these tablets, and for those who happened to come into contact with them, this had tragic consequences.

We assume that Moses received from the hands of God (read: a representative of the CC) two blocks of a complex device such as a radio circuit, assembled from crystalline elements (“stone”).

One can also assume that the order of putting the blocks into the ark was decided very ingeniously, namely: it was determined by the text of the 10 commandments written on the surface (remember that on the tablets on both sides “it was written by the hand of God”).

Perhaps the letters themselves or some elements of text or ornament served as contacts to connect both blocks together. It can also be assumed that the tablets themselves contained an energy source that ensured the operation of the entire receiving and transmitting device.

Based on our current level of knowledge, it can be assumed that such a source could be an isotope battery, for example, on plutonium.

The radio device began to work when both of its blocks were connected in the ark (it is also possible that the transmitter was turned on remotely).

Naturally, such conclusions do not follow directly from the description of the ark and the tablets - this text is very meager, and in principle it could not contain data that goes beyond the knowledge of Moses and his assistants.

We draw these conclusions based on circumstantial “evidence,” namely descriptions of the workings of the tabernacle itself and the properties that the ark possessed.

Based on the current level of knowledge, it can be argued that in a box the size of the Ark of the Covenant, it was quite possible to place a transceiver radio device and an isotope power source.

True, the transceiver had to operate in pulse mode (long-term accumulation of energy in the battery and relatively short-term operation in the receive-transmit mode).

This does not contradict the text. The isotope energy source could not be very powerful, since in this case it would pose too great a danger to service personnel.

Hence the need to work in pulse mode (periodically). Although this does not directly follow from the biblical text, however, based on data from another source - the book "Zohar" - it can also be assumed that the source of energy for the radio engineering device of the tabernacle could be, at least partially, the nuclear reactor located in the manna machine.

The Zohar does not mention where the manna machine itself was located - in the tabernacle, the Holy of Holies or somewhere else.

Dangerous device In addition to receiving and transmitting, the tabernacle and the ark obviously performed some other function.

This is evidenced by biblical texts, from which it follows that at certain moments the tabernacle itself and especially the ark posed a great danger to people.

God repeatedly warned Moses that it was forbidden to enter the tabernacle or even approach it at those moments when it was “overshadowed by light” or there was a “pillar of fire” or a “foggy cloud” above it: ^ "

"And Moses could not enter into the tabernacle of meeting, because a cloud overshadowed it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle." ("Exodus", 40, 35)

Sometimes Moses even used the dangerous properties of the tabernacle to further strengthen his authority in the eyes of the tribe or to punish the disobedient.

We have already said above that when his brother and second person in the priestly hierarchy Aaron, together with his daughter-in-law Miriam, organized a conspiracy against Moses, challenging his sole right to communicate with God, he invited them to “appear before the face of the Lord” at the most inopportune moment, namely, when the Lord “came down into the tabernacle in a pillar of cloud”:

"And the wrath of the Lord was kindled against them... And the cloud departed from the tabernacle, and behold, Miriam was covered with leprosy like snow. Aaron looked at Miriam, and behold, she was leprous." ("Numbers", 12, 9-10)

As a result of this incident, Aaron and Moses were not injured, probably because they were wearing protective clothing, but the instigator of the riot, Miriam, received a lethal dose of some kind of radiation.

Thus, Moses presented an object lesson to the disobedient and once again proved his exclusive right as the high priest to communicate with God alone.

So, when the Jews had already entered the “Promised Land” and fought with the tribes inhabiting it, the following event took place.

During a skirmish with the Philistines, the Israeli army was defeated, and their shrine - the Ark of the Covenant - fell into the hands of enemies. The Philistines brought it as a trophy to their city of Azoth and placed it in the temple.

The pilgrimage began - everyone wanted to look at the ark and look inside: “And the hand of the Lord was heavy upon the Azotans, and He punished them with painful growths.” ("First Book of Kingdoms", 5, 6) The Azotians gave the dangerous trophy to the inhabitants of another Philistine city - Gath, but the same thing happened there - mass illness and death of people who looked into the ark

Then the ark ended up in the third city - Ascalon, whose inhabitants, who had learned nothing, flocked in a crowd to look at the trophy. The natural result of this curiosity was that “the hand of God was very heavy upon them,” and mass deaths and illnesses began.

In the end, it was decided to give the dangerous trophy back to the Israelis.

He was placed on a cart drawn by two cows, which were directed along the road to the Israeli city of Bethshemesh.

The Israelis rejoiced wildly when they saw the return of their shrine. The ark was installed on a large stone, and a solemn service and sacrifices were held.

Crowds of pilgrims came to worship their shrine.

But their joy turned out to be premature, for God "...smote...the inhabitants of Bethshemesh because they looked into the ark of the Lord, and killed fifty thousand and seventy of the people; and the people wept, for the Lord struck the people with a great defeat."

("First Book of Kings", 6, 19) Elsewhere in the Bible, an accident related to the ark is told, which took place 8 - 1-1821 many years later, already during the time of King David. It was decided to transport the Ark to the capital: "

-; “And they put the ark of God on a new chariot, and took it out of the house of Abinadab... And the sons of Abinadab, Uzzah and Ahio, drove the new chariot... Uzzah stretched out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen tilted it. But The Lord was angry with Uzzah, and God struck him there for his insolence, and he died there, at the ark of God." ("Second Book of Kings", 6, 3-7)

Such sudden death from touching the ark is very reminiscent of the result of an electric discharge.

But why, in this case, did not Moses die when he descended from Mount Sinai and held the tablets in his hands?

Here we can only make assumptions: the tablets at that time were not charged or not turned on remotely, they could have been covered with an insulating layer (the text does not say whether the tablets in the hands of Moses were wrapped in something or not), etc.

The High Priest and his Levitical assistants had to follow certain strict rules during the maintenance of the tabernacle:

Firstly, a very limited circle of people were allowed into the tabernacle.

It was served only by the Levites, that is, the descendants of Levi, whose family gave Moses to the Israelites. Priests were chosen from among the descendants of Aaron.

The Levites were in charge of guarding the tabernacle, assembling and disassembling it, the priests made sacrifices, packed sacred objects and carried the ark with the help of poles, and before carrying it they wrapped it in a special woolen cloth (possibly insulating).

Only Moses (and after his death - Aaron) had the right to enter the Holy of Holies (and even then not always).

Secondly, the design of the tabernacle itself made it difficult for unauthorized persons to enter the danger zone.

Let us remember how close the pillars of the tabernacle stood to each other (about 25 cm): it was hardly possible to squeeze through these gaps easily, especially since they were covered with a curtain of thick fabric.

In addition, entering and even approaching the tabernacle was strictly prohibited; Levites were constantly guarding the tabernacle, there was a fence around it that enclosed its courtyard, and there was also a guard around this “zone.”

Thirdly, the high priest entering the Holy of Holies was required to wear special clothing consisting of the following components:

1. Underwear of linen, which must be clean (“so as not to bring sin upon yourself and die”), in other words, an insulator.

2. Long outer clothing (chiton and chasuble) with gold threads woven into the fabric and numerous gold decorations - a breastplate, a gold belt, etc. - in other words, a conductor, and probably grounded (the clothing probably touched the ground).

3. Along the hem of the robe are golden bells (“so that a sound may be heard from him when he enters the sanctuary before the face of the Lord, and when he comes out, so that he does not die”) - a sound alarm warning that a person is entering a dangerous zone.

4. On the headdress there is a massive gold plate - a diadem (“and it will always be on his forehead”).

5. A long golden chain was tied to the leg of the high priest, by which he could be pulled out of the Holy of Holies in case he lost consciousness or died there.

All this richly metalized clothing of the high priest resembles the so-called. "Maxwell cell", well known to modern physicists.

A person staying inside a grounded metal cage can be in a high voltage electric field without harm to his health.

As J. Michel and R. Rickard write,

“...if on a fabric mannequin of a person you place a metal comb on the “head”, a metal “brooch” on the “chest”, and surround the mannequin with a metal belt, then the electric discharge will pass through these metal objects without touching the mannequin.”

But it was precisely such metal parts, made of an ideal conductor - gold, that Moses' protective clothing contained - a "comb" on his head (diadem) and a "brooch" on his chest (golden breastplate), and a metal belt!

However, even in this Maxwell Cage, Moses was not always allowed to enter the Holy of Holies."

FIBER EQUIPMENT.

Let us give a description of the confidant in the Old Testament. God says to Moses:

"- AND SHALL MAKE THE CONFIDENT OF JUDGMENT WITH SKILLFUL WORK; WITH THE SAME WORK AS THE EPHOD (Ephod), SHALL MAKE IT; OF GOLD, BLUE, PURPLE, AND SCARLET, AND FROM COOL BUT OF FINE SHALL MAKE IT. IT SHOULD BE QUARTERLAND, DOUBLE , A SPAND IS THE LENGTH OF IT AND A SPAND IS THE WIDTH OF IT. AND INSERT INTO IT THE INSERT STONES, FOUR ROWS OF STONES: A ROW OF RUBY, TOPAZ AND EMERALD - ONE ROW. AND THE SECOND ROW: CARBUNCLE, SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND. AND THE THIRD ROW: YACHONT, AGATE AND AMETHYST. AND QUARTER TH ROW : CHRYSOLITE, ONYX AND JASHPHY; THEY SHALL BE SET IN A GOLDEN FRAME. AND THESE STONES SHALL BE AFTER THE NAMES OF THE SONS OF ISRAEL, TWELVE AFTER THEIR NAMES, PRINTED CARVINGS, EACH SAME WILL BE FOR THE TWELVE TRIBES." Exodus, 28, 15-21.

It would seem that the breastplate is simply a ritual garment decorated with precious stones: “and these stones should be according to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve according to their names.”

But the usually reserved Hebrew historian Josephus describes him emotionally:

“THE THING IS THAT MOSES DEPRIVED THE FALSE PROPHETS, IF THEY WERE FOUND AND WOULD PRESUME THEMSELVES AS PROGRAMMERS OF THE WILL OF GOD, OF ALL POSSIBILITY TO SEDUCE THE PEOPLE.

THE LORD GOD COULD, AT HIS DISCRETION, BE PRESENT AT THE SERVICE OR NOT, AND AT THE same time SUCH PRESENCE OR ABSENCE OF THE ETERNAL SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONSIDERED NOT ONLY BY THE JEWS, BUT ALSO BY ACCIDENTAL ALIENS IN THE SANCTUARY. IN VIEW OF THIS, EVERY TIME THE LORD GOD WAS PRESENT AT A SERVICE, THAT ONE OF THE PRECIOUS STONES... WHICH WAS ON THE RIGHT SHOULDER, SERVING AS A CLASP THERE, BEGAN TO SHINE ESPECIALLY STRONGLY AND TO PRODUCE AS BRIGHT LIGHT AS USUAL TO HIM BUT WAS NOT PROPER. BUT I WILL NOW TELL ABOUT AN EVEN MORE AMAZING PHENOMENON. THE POINT IS THAT THE LORD GOD TELLED THE JEWS, WHEN THEY WERE GOING TO WAR, VICTORY BY THE HELP OF THOSE TWELVE PRECIOUS STONES THAT WERE ATTACHED TO THE BIRST OF THE HIGH PRIEST;

EVEN BEFORE THE ARMIES LEFT ON THE CAMPAIGN, THESE STONES BEGAN TO SHINE AND SHINE SO MUCH THAT THE GRACEFUL PRESENCE AND PROTECTION OF THE LORD GOD BECAME OBVIOUS TO THE WHOLE MASS OF THE PEOPLE.

IN VIEW OF THIS, THOSE GREEKS WHO ARE RESPECTIVE FOR OUR INSTITUTIONS CANNOT DENY THIS FACT AND CALL THE BIB OF THE HIGH PRIEST AN ORACLE. HOWEVER, BOTH THE STONES OF THE BIRST AND THE SHOULDER SARDONYX STOPPED PRODUCING SUCH AN EXTRAORDINARY LIGHT TWO HUNDRED YEARS BEFORE I COMPLETED THIS WORK, BECAUSE THE LORD TURNED HIS MERCY AWAY FROM THE PEOPLE DUE TO THE CONSTANT VIOLATION OF THE POLICY ICE LAWS."

Please note: Flavius himself did not see the divine sparkle he described, since “both the stones of the breastplate and the shoulder sardonyx stopped emitting such an extraordinary light two hundred years before I compiled this work,” which means that this description of him was made according to some more ancient manuscripts. In general, if the earphone-Urim and microphone-thummim did not work stably already under Saul, then the sparkling stopped another thousand years later - that is, the entire ritual system gradually failed.

The ritual system was intended to ensure that visitors to the temple - regardless of their ethnic and religious affiliation - were imbued with faith in the power of the Jewish God: “the presence or absence of the Eternal One was to be seen not only by Jews, but also by foreigners who happened to be in the sanctuary”; "those Greeks who respect our institutions cannot deny this fact."

The monopoly on the secrets of the ritual system also allowed Moses to defend his personal monopoly on communication with God: “he deprived the false prophets, if any were found and began to pose as substitutes for the will of God, of any opportunity to seduce the people.”

Actually, the Urim and Thummim were considered the oracle, but in the episodes from the Bible with David and Saul, only the ephod was mentioned, the presence of the Urim and Thummim on top of which seemed to go without saying. Apparently, it was the same for Flavius - the presence of the Urim and Thummim was self-evident, although not on top of the ephod, but on top of the breastplate: “and they call the breastplate of the high priest an oracle.”

Most likely, the manuscripts on which Josephus relied no longer mentioned the ancient Urim and Thummim, which were incomprehensible to them, but replaced them with more understandable thirteenth and fourteenth – missing in the Old Testament – precious stones: “SARDONYXES ON THE SHOULDS OF THE HIGH PRIEST SIGN THE SUN AND MOON...

"Thus, the Urim and Thummim here are supposedly just jewelry images of the sun and moon.

In general, why did Flavius suddenly switch to a style that was not typical for him, either a storyteller or a science fiction writer?

In my opinion, in this description of Flavius, the confidant, together with the oracle - the Urim and Thummim - resembles a certain remote control with keys that, at the most crucial moment, suddenly began to glow (i.e., the remote control turned on?): “every time the Lord God was present at during the divine service, the one made of precious stones... which was on the right shoulder, serving as a clasp there, began to sparkle especially strongly and emit such a bright light that was not usually characteristic of it"; “Before the army set out on a campaign, these stones began to shine and sparkle so much that the merciful presence and protection of the Lord God became obvious to the entire mass of the people.”

Modern Israeli scholars point out that “the teachers of the law (authors of the Talmud), like Josephus, were of the opinion that the answer of the Urim and Thummim was given by rays of light.”

In any case, it’s not for nothing that the authors of the Talmud called the earphone-Urim “that whose words give light.”

What, after all, are these rays of light? Is it really from the sparkle of the control panel? Or maybe even from the use of fiber optic technology?...

This is somehow echoed by the story from the Sumerian clay tablets about the penetration of the god Ninurta into the Great Pyramid (now Cheops): “...There were magical “stones” - minerals and crystals, some of earthly, some of heavenly origin, and others of he had never seen them before. They emitted a pulsating glow to guide the astronauts' course and radiation to protect the structure."

Didn’t the high priest of the Israelites also have the same “magic” stones?”

Now let’s return to R.S. Farday’s narrative:

Some principles of the work of the tabernacle.

How did Moses communicate with God?

It follows from the texts that at a certain time Moses entered the Holy of Holies, saw an image of God in a fiery cloud between the figures of two cherubim on the lid of the ark, and heard a voice coming from there.

What could be the operating principles of this communication device?

It can be suggested that the figures of cherubs with outstretched wings were dischargers, between which a plasma (“fire”) cloud appeared, and in it, in some way unknown to us, a three-dimensional (holographic?) image of the subscriber Moses was generated. It is not clear from the text whether this image was moving.

Most likely, it was a still image (photograph) projected during the communication session.

Today's communication technology does not know such devices, but this does not make such an assumption fantastic. Another statement of the Bible is much clearer to us - that a voice was heard from this “cloud of fire.” Modern technology devices are known in which plasma (for example, the flame of an electric arc included in an oscillatory circuit) can serve as a source of sound vibrations, i.e., a speaker.

So, in 1951, according to the French magazine Science et Avenir, inventor Z. Klein patented a promising model of a loudspeaker, the so-called. ionophone, which used the principle of air ionization. In this sound-generating device, a high-frequency electric field is applied to a metal tip.

As a result of the corona discharge, the air ionizes, it decompresses and turns into plasma. The electrical signal modulates the amplitude of the discharge voltage, which causes temperature fluctuations, which in turn change the degree of pressure, and hence the sound vibrations of the plasma ball. The sound reproduction quality and other data of this device are far superior to all known sound reproduction systems.

The French Military Department bought the patent for the ionophone from the inventor with the aim of using this device for communication on submarines.

Did 3. Klein “re-invent” a device that Moses had successfully used 3,200 years before him?

So, from the biblical texts it follows that the tabernacle made it possible for Moses to periodically enter into two-way contact with God

(In our context, representatives of the VC Anunakov Marduk are the author).

At the same time, one cannot help but notice that the tabernacle was a very cumbersome structure, extremely dangerous, requiring compliance with complex handling rules.

In addition, its maintenance and transportation required the presence of numerous personnel.

A legitimate question arises:

If the connection between the EC messengers and Moses was an end in itself, then wouldn’t it have been easier to equip him with a portable transceiver device, rather than force him to carry a mountain of heavy gilded logs across the desert, periodically unwrap the entire structure, guard it, exposing himself and the entire tribe to danger?

Since the latter option was chosen, there was probably a good reason for this.

And obviously, it was that the tabernacle was not only a receiving and transmitting radio device, but also something else.

Let us pay attention to another aspect of this biblical history. According to the Bible, God committed to lead a tribe of ancient Hebrews from captivity in Egypt to the Promised Land.

For some reason this hike took incredibly for a long time: the journey from the Nile Valley to the Jordan Valley (a straight line distance of about 400 km) lasted for...40 years!

Meanwhile, it is quite obvious that such a distance, even in desert conditions, on carts drawn by oxen, with numerous belongings and livestock, could be quite successfully overcome in a couple of months.

Well, let’s say this path was twice as long, taking into account the need to detour around areas inhabited by hostile tribes, rest stops, etc. All the same, it could have been covered, say, in just six months.

Even if we make allowances for the fact that the term “40 years” could have been exaggerated by the compilers of the Bible, who were clearly partial to the number 40 (remember the “courses” of Moses on Mount Sinai, the global flood that lasted “40 days and 40 nights”, etc.) etc.), nevertheless, it follows from the text that Moses led his tribe for many years.

The text contains, for example, references to the first and second years of the journey; during the campaign, Moses and Aaron managed to grow old, a change of generations occurred, and an all-research device, a kind of “frame” with the help of which some kind of remotely controlled experiments were carried out.

As one of the hypotheses, it can be assumed that the cloud “pillars” during the day and the “fire clouds” at night were areas of ionized air that glowed in the channel of powerful microwave radiation.”

One of the plots of the Sumerian clay tablets evokes curious associations with the Ark of the Covenant of Moses. We are talking about the first city-kingdom of Kish, where the ruler was elected from among the people. We have already talked about Kish and his kings in Chapter.

So the Sumerians claimed long before the appearance of Moses on Sinai - “When the “kingdom descended from Heaven” and Kish became the first royal city, Anu (“lord of the heavens and father of the gods”) and Enlil (“greatest of the gods”) erected a “Tent” there Heaven."

“In the ground on which he stands forever” they laid SHU.HA.DA.KU - an object made of a metal alloy, the name of which literally translates as “the most formidable shining weapon.”

When the kingdom moved from Kish to Erech, this divine object was transported there.

He was delivered to each new city where the kingdom was transferred, but only if this happened by order of the Great Gods.

Following custom, Sargon delivered this item to Akkad.

But Marduk ("the main god of the city of Babylon") opposed this, because Akkad was one of the new cities, and not one of those that were chosen as royal capitals by the "great gods of Heaven and Earth."

The gods who proclaimed the kingdom in Akkad - Inanna (the "Babylonian goddess of love" and her supporters - were, according to Marduk, "rebels, gods who wear unclean clothes."

To settle this, Sargon went to Babylon, to the place where the “sacred land” was located.

He intended to move some of this earth “to a place opposite Akkad” and dig the Divine Weapon there, thus legitimizing its presence in Akkad.

As punishment for this, the text says, Marduk provoked revolts against Sargon and thus doomed him to "restlessness" (some researchers believe that the word means "sleeplessness"), which became the cause of his death.

Further in this mysterious text we read that during the invasion of the invaders from Gutium, at the end of the reign of Naram-Sin, the divine object remained lying in the ground "by the water dam" because "they did not know how to deal with the creation of the gods."

They took it out” and “did not give it to any of the gods” until “the gods who caused the destruction restore everything.”

But when Innana had the opportunity to establish a kingdom in Erech, her chosen king, Utu-Hegal, “stole Shuhadaka from where he was kept; he took it into his own hands” - although “the losses had not yet been covered.” Utu-Hegal arbitrarily "raised arms against the city he was besieging." And as soon as he did this, he immediately fell dead. "The river carried away his body."

The "Tent of Heaven" mentioned here is the predecessor of the Mosaic Tabernacle. In its role and impact, “SHU.HA.DA.KU” is in many ways reminiscent of the Ark of the Covenant:

1. was in the Tent of Heaven - (also Jewish) Tabernacle (but installed permanently).;

2. they carried it from city to city;

3. demanded special treatment: “they did not know how to treat the creation of the gods”;

4. caused the death of Sargon (“doomed him to “restlessness”) and Utu-Hegal (“unauthorizedly” took up arms against the city that he besieged.”

And as soon as he did this, he immediately fell dead." Just like a thousand years later - the Israeli Uzzah.

I do not at all think that the Torah borrowed this plot.

Yes, there was borrowing, but not of the plot, but of “SHU.HA.DA.KU” itself! Like the construction project of the Tabernacle, Moses apparently received the "SHU.HA.DA.KU" directly from the Chief Alien.

And “SHU.HA.DA.KU” was in the Ark of the Covenant, along with the Tablets.

(end of Part 5 Chapter 5 Book 2)

Soon after this, a very important event occurred in the life of the chosen people. By Divine command it was created camp temple - tabernacle(from Greek skene- monastery). All work was entrusted to Veseliel. God filled him with the Spirit of God, wisdom, understanding, knowledge and all skill(Exodus 35, 31).

The tabernacle was built and installed in the first month of the second year after the Jews left Egypt. Moses put it in the ark tablets of the covenant and brought him into the tabernacle. Then he hung veil. The Ark of the Covenant became the main shrine of Israel. For eight hundred and fifty years he was for the Israelites visible evidence of God's presence among the chosen people. God blessed the holy place: And the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle; and Moses could not enter into the tabernacle of meeting, because a cloud overshadowed it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle(Exodus 40:34-35).

In the second year after leaving Egypt, on the twentieth day of the second month, a cloud rose from the tabernacle. With this sign the Lord commanded us to set out on our journey. The Jews left the Sinai desert and entered the Paran desert, which lay to the north of the Sinai Peninsula. People have become grumble aloud. For this, the fire began to destroy the edge of the camp. The people cried out to Moses. He prayed and the fire subsided. Place They called it Taberah, because the fire of the Lord was kindled among them(Numbers 11:3).

Soon a new discontent of the Jews arose: the strangers, and with them the children of Israel, began to cry and say: who will feed us meat? Moses began to grieve and turned to the Lord with words of prayer. The Lord told Moses that he would feed the children of Israel with meat for a whole month until it became disgusting to them. The next day the wind rose and caught the quails, a meter layer from the ground. The Lord struck down those who murmured with a plague.

The people then moved to Asiroth, northeast of Sinai. Moses' sister and Aaron began to reproach their brother for his Midianite wife, Zipporah. It was just an excuse. The reason was the exceptional position of their brother. Confirmation was needed that The Lord chose Moses. He commanded Moses, Aaron and Miriam to go to the tabernacle of meeting. The Lord came down in a pillar of cloud and said that Moses faithful in all My house: mouth to mouth I speak to him(Numbers 12, 7-8). Mariam became covered with leprosy. Aaron was not punished for this terrible disease. According to Blessed Theodoret, the Lord determined this because Aaron was the root of the priesthood and so that reproach would not fall on the entire family. He repented. Moses offered a prayer for his sister: God, heal her!(Numbers 12, 13). The Lord commanded her to be outside the camp for seven days.

When Mariam was healed and returned to the camp, the people set off.

Paran Desert. Here Israel spent most of his thirty-eight years of pilgrimage. This became a severe test for murmuring. The desert was bare and lifeless. The renaming of the son of Nun by Moses dates back to this time: from Hosea he became Jesus. Holy Fathers in Moses' successor Joshua, who led Israel to the promised land, see a type of Jesus Christ leading us into the promised Kingdom of Heaven.

The Lord commanded Moses to send men from the twelve tribes to survey the land of Canaan. The people sent returned after forty days and brought fruits from that land. They began to make the people despondent, saying that they saw giants there, before whom they were insignificant, like locusts. These were the sons of Anak, distinguished by their gigantic growth. They came from Enak, the son of Arba. They lived mainly in the mountainous part of Judea (Hebron and other cities). After conquering the promised land, Joshua defeated and drove them out. But few of them survived in the Philistine cities. Goliath, who was later killed by David, was their descendant.

The people fell into despondency and raised a cry. The Jews began to regret leaving Egypt. Joshua and Caleb, who were among the twelve men sent to the land of Canaan, tore their clothes and said that if the Lord was merciful to them, he would bring them into that land. But the people wanted to stone them. The older generation of Jews who grew up in Egypt turned out to be incapable of living in the promised land according to the Divine plan of salvation. There were ten disturbances in two years. Therefore the Lord determined forty years of wandering in the desert until the bones of the disobedient lie there ( rough-necked) people until a new generation grows up.

TABERNACLE OF MEETING

EXODUS 40:1-13, 34-38
“And the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle” (verse 34).
Our Berean lectures on the Tabernacle have introduced us to the main features of this doctrine. From the book “The Tabernacle - Its Shadows of the Best Sacrifices” we learned about the shape, size, design, etc. of the Tabernacle that God ordered the Israelites (through Moses, their mediator) to build to worship Him. This Tabernacle was portable, suitable in every way for the forty years of wandering in the wilderness, which, as the Lord knew in advance, would be their lot as a people. Whenever they pitched camp, the Tabernacle was set up in the center of the camp, and the tents of the Israelites were placed in groups around it: first of all, the tribe of Levi, which was immediately nearby and was divided into tribes; behind the Levites were the tribes of Israel - three tribes to the north, three tribes to the south, three tribes to the east and three to the west. The tribe of Joseph, divided into two parts, Ephraim and Manasseh, complemented them, forming a full twelve tribes without taking into account the Levites.

The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night constantly testified to the presence of the Lord with His chosen people, and this cloud and pillar of fire were obviously connected with the Tabernacle in the sense that its branch, the foot, descended from the cloud to the Tabernacle. When it rose, it was evidence that the time had come to set out. The Israelites followed the cloud: when it delayed, they stopped to rest, set up camp, and communication was established between the cloud and the Tabernacle, as before. Thus Israel constantly had before them the manifestation of God, and His protection and guardianship as His people. But the Israelites wanted the idol so that it would go ahead of them and be a kind of external manifestation of God. They were punished for perfect idolatry - for making a golden calf. Later, when they had learned their lesson and repented of what they had done, God gave them what He intended - something more sublime as proof of His presence among them and His direction in their affairs.

GOD FIRST

From the way the Tabernacle was constructed and how it was located in the camp of Israel, we can see that the lecture to Israel was that God should come first - that religion should be the center of all endeavors and activities. All the tribes were connected with the Tabernacle because it represented God, and they were all connected with each other, since each of them and all of them surrounded it and were directly connected with this Tabernacle of God. Here they met and here all their interests were concentrated. So it should be with spiritual Israel - with each individual, in each place and at each time. He who comes to terms with the divine order will find in it an orderly divine providence which will enable him to come into communion with all who are in unity with the Father and His glorious plan.

It is in vain to hope for order in the Church or for harmony with the brothers if one does not recognize this unity of command. When all look to the Lord for direction, they are willing to be led by His providence—to move forward or to remain stagnant. When all look to the Lord for laws, orders, and direction in all the affairs of life, they can be in agreement with each other, recognizing the same standard of divine reconciliation. But if this unity of command is ignored (or tried to be ignored), then disagreement and conflict will arise. This, no doubt, is the difficulty of many of the Lord's people who desire peace and harmony and have good intentions in their hearts. They fail to accept the Lord and His Word as the criterion because they do not refer to this criterion when there is uncertainty.

THE HUMAN BRAIN IS SIGNED IN A SIMILAR WAY

Without claiming that phrenology has reached perfect development - that someone has learned to accurately recognize the shape of the human skull different properties character depicted in it, and realizing that such a reading of character may be erroneous, especially in the case of those whose character has been transformed by the renewing of the mind through conception by the Holy Spirit, we may yet admit that phrenology, as it is understood, fully confirms the image , given to us in the construction of the Tabernacle of Israel, surrounded by a camp.

If we imagine a human skull unfolded on a plane, we will see that the central part will correspond to the Tabernacle and its court, because in the very center of the head (at the crown) there is a plot of spirituality, and right in front of it is a plot of piety. The last section could well correspond to the courtyard, and the previous one to the Sanctuary. To enter the Sanctuary and Holy of Holies, it was necessary to pass through the courtyard; therefore, in order to enter a state where we correctly evaluate spiritual things with our hearts, it is necessary to be imbued with reverence, reverence for God, which will allow us to worship Him and strive to know and do His will.

Around these two central sections are others corresponding to different divisions in the tribe of Levi, the sacred tribe dedicated to serving God in the court and Tabernacle. These areas represent faith, hope, goodwill, conscientiousness, fortitude, etc., and beyond them are various areas of the mind that deal primarily with earthly things. They (as useful and valuable in themselves) should be controlled and managed from the center. Just as in the camp of Israel the center, the Tabernacle, was not controlled by the tribes, but, on the contrary, the tribes were controlled and administered from the Tabernacle, so all the talents and qualities of mind and body that we possess and which are represented in our brain must be subject and guided by our honor to God and our spiritual perception of His will, which must be expressed primarily through the mediation of areas of goodwill, faith, hope, conscience, etc.

ILLUSTRATION OF APPEAL

The philosophy of what is called conversion can be stated in a similar way. We thank God that it was not necessary to understand the philosophy of conversion in order to receive and enjoy this blessing, otherwise it would have been given to a few. However, some will find it helpful to review the philosophy of conversion and see how wonderful and thoughtful the subject is. An ordinary person, “having no hope and ungodly in the world” (OB), is like the Israelites, like the crowd of Jews in Egypt - indecisive, confused, slaves of sin, working hard for their taskmasters and not knowing how to free themselves. The first step to order is to pay attention to the Lord's Word, which guides our path from slavery to the promised land. This involves recognizing and obeying Moses, God's appointed leader, to flee sin.

Some time must pass (a short moment or a year) in which the enslaved realizes that his freedom is granted by God through the great antitype Moses. Then he hears the law and understands that his entire past is subject to oblivion, but at the same time he is still unable to adhere to the divine law perfectly due to the weakness of his flesh. To do this, his attention is drawn to the divine structure: to the fact that all who are dedicated to the Lord are given conception by the Holy Spirit, that they receive hitherto unknown mercies, blessings of the Lord and His help. This is conversion - acceptance of the Lord and His will in all matters of life instead of self-will: complete dedication to the Lord of heart and life, time and talents, recognition of Christ as our Head, High Priest, our Intercessor, helper in all matters.

The transformation that takes place corresponds to the ordered arrangement of the tribes relative to the Tabernacle. The tabernacle was considered the center of the camp, and each tribe had its place relative to it. There was no more confusion about which place to choose the knee - here or there, more successful or less successful. From then on, each tribe had its own location, its own responsibility, its own connection with the Tabernacle.

ORDER IS THE FIRST LAW OF HEAVEN

It's the same with a converted heart and mind. Previously, in the center, in the power of everything, sometimes there was pride, sometimes conscience, sometimes the desire to get something, sometimes hope, sometimes in the center there was fear, around which various other properties were piled up. But now, when the heart is given to the Lord, His order and His structure are recognized, and the various signs of the mind and body, represented in our brain, are orderedly arranged around the central organ, which from then on becomes the governing one and always occupies a position of authority. For the truly converted, consecrated Christian, the center from which all orders of life will proceed must be a spirituality that corresponds to the Sanctuary and the Holy of Holies at the center of the camp of Israel.

This implies worship of God. Since then, different areas must look to this common center for guidance. The desire for acquisition can suggest how to obtain wealth, but it has no right to act until it receives messages from spirituality and piety. This right must undergo a first hearing (shown in Levites): goodwill must have its say, whether the acquirer can really get what he wants, as well as conscience, faith and hope. And goodwill, faith, hope and conscience will certainly inquire with the Lord through piety and spirituality as to what the will (mind) of the Lord is on this matter before allowing acquisition to act as intended.

Belligerence is another quality which has been accustomed from time to time to occupy a dominant position in relation to others, but now belligerence has been pushed to its rightful place behind, away from the center. It cannot act without permission, and permission can only come through goodwill, faith, hope, conscience, etc. Those, in turn, must ask piety and spirituality whether warlikeness should gird up its sword and go on a campaign, which exactly and how much she can do in each case. If the reason is praiseworthy, permission will be given, but if the reason is bad, permission will be refused, and steadfastness will see to it that the decisions of the central court are carried out by all remote links.

For example, if belligerence has risen and wants to cooperate in some form with egoism or acquisitiveness, then the decision of the central court will be: “No!” Militancy may never be used selfishly; but if militancy rises in good faith to defend the faith once delivered to the saints, then the decision of the central court will be: “Yes! Strive sincerely for the faith once delivered to the saints.” However, benevolence and love, carefully interacting, will see that militancy, even while defending the faith handed down to the saints, does not take on a rude and aggressive form of behavior, but is under the watchful eye of benevolence and love.

It is not surprising that the people of the world were astonished to discover such a radical change in the character and life of those who had come into union with the Lord through the complete consecration of their hearts to Him, whose minds had been rebuilt, transformed by the renewal of the will, by the transmission of all the qualities of the heart and mind. under the control of the Lord and bringing them into agreement with the Lord. Sometimes we talk about conversion as if it were a miracle, because it has made a wonderful change in our hearts, lives and feelings, bringing them into a new subjection, under the control of the Lord's Spirit, the spirit of love, the spirit of wisdom, the spirit of a sound mind.

THE GLORY OF THE LORD FILLED THE TABERNACLE

When the Tabernacle was built and the tents of the Israelites were placed around in the right order, the first important event, as we say in our lecture, was the recognition of it by God. This is referred to in the thirty-fourth verse of our lecture: “And the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.” It was called the Tabernacle of Meeting (or more correctly, the tent of meeting) not because the Israelites met there as a society, not because it was their meeting house, but because they were a holy, separate house, the people of God, and in this In the tent in the center of the camp, God arranged the place of His residence and here He met with the children of Israel, receiving representatives of the tribe of Levi and communicating with them, as a result of which the divine will was communicated with the help of the Urim and Thummim. Let us apply this personally to us spiritual Israelites: when our conversion occurred, it meant not only ordering our minds in accordance with the Lord, placing spirituality and godliness at the front - the center of our influences - but also something more.

All this we were to do and did do under the direction of the Lord's Word. But then God did something else, something very necessary for us, namely: we were conceived again to newness of mind by His Holy Spirit. In other words, God recognized the heart that was ordered according to the divine order of the Word. He established His abode with us, and blessed and illuminated our meeting place with Him, represented in spirituality. We were filled with the Glory of the Lord. We realized to a certain extent that we were accepted by the Lord, and since then we have been enlightened by the Holy Spirit, we have constant help and guidance: the pillar of cloud blessed us during the day, protecting us from everything that is difficult to bear, and the pillar of fire at night, giving us illumination during the day. darkness, the support and protection of the One who has promised that all things will work together for our good because we belong to Him, love Him, have put Him first in our hearts, and are among those called according to His purpose. Thus the new will, founded by God and instructed by His Word, can, like the priest in each of us, communicate with the Father through the merit of the great sacrifice of reconciliation.

And this new will, consecrated, anointed, excommunicated, can dispense the wise instructions of God to all the other organs of our body, showing each what can and cannot be done; how everyone is allowed or prohibited from cooperating with others; which of them should be contained and when; which must be perfected and how, so that the whole body may be full of light, order and divine blessing, so that we, as God's people, may go from grace to grace, from knowledge to knowledge, from strength to strength, and be prepared for the eternal conditions beyond the Jordan in the promised land to which we travel - in the heavenly city.

AND ALSO AN IMAGE OF THE FUTURE

This order regarding the Tabernacle was not permanent. It rather showed the conditions of the gospel age, at least as regards the Church—the Royal Priesthood, who are now permitted to enter into the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place as members of the great High Priest, Jesus, and during the Millennium to lead with Him all of God's people who desire to enter into the majestic eternal rest that remains for him. During the Millennium, all who wish to become genuine Israelites and come into complete harmony with the Lord will find a place for this in the divine plan: first of all, the Royal Priesthood, closest to the Lord (in the very gate of His mercy), as the priests were located immediately before the entrance to the court of the Tabernacle; after them will be the Great Crowd, shown in the Levites as a whole. Then, in due time, all the tribes of the earth will come to a harmonious order: everyone will turn their gaze to God, everyone will strive to walk in the light of God's mercy. In the end there will be no more groaning, no more crying, no more death, for all the adherents of sin will be cut off by the second death, and all others will be brought into perfect harmony with God through the ministry of the priesthood.

To begin with, for those who do not know, let us explain what the tabernacle is and what it is all about.

From Wikipedia:

Tabernacle (Ancient Greek σκηνή, “tent, tent”; Hebrew מִשְכָּן‎, mishkan, “dwelling, abode”, Hebrew אהל מועד‎, ohel moed, “tent of meeting, meeting”) - mainly used in the meaning camp temple Jews, the Tabernacle of Meeting, which was used, according to the Bible, as a place of sacrifice and storage of the Ark of the Covenant until the construction of the Jerusalem Temple, created strictly in the image of the Tabernacle.

When reading the Bible, every person has a number of questions and contradictions. In order to avoid these contradictions, the Bible (Old Testament) can be divided into 3 parts:

— Prophetic: in its pure form – these are the books of “Ezekiel” and “John the Theologian”
— Literary and artistic: “Song of Solomon”, “Job”, etc.
— Historical-narrative: “Exodus”, “Leviticus”, “Kings”, etc.

It is these records that are of exceptional interest. If certain events recorded, hot on the heels of what happened, are analyzed, then as a result of the current picture, all contradictions disappear, both in the statements of the New Testament and between the three Middle Eastern faiths (Judaism, Christianity and Islam).
According to the Bible, it was written by Moses. He was an Israelite raised in the family of an Egyptian pharaoh. In the same family he received a serious education. And it would be most likely to assume that at the time the Israelites left Egypt, he was the only one who owned writing. How else can we explain that “Genesis”, “Exodus”, “Leviticus”, “Numbers” and “Deuteronomy” are called the Pentateuch of Moses. And in Deuteronomy, chapter 31, he commands to read the records once every seven years. In the first book of Genesis he is reflected as a prophet with a fairly high cultural level for that time.

The once small tribe of Israelites actually found refuge in Egypt, and, having their own culture, they additionally became familiar with the Egyptian culture. And their leader Moses, by chance, joined in more than anyone else. It was this knowledge, as well as prophetic maxims, that formed the basis of “Genesis”.

So, let's move on to the events that happen to Moses. Due to his patriotic nature, he kills the Egyptian who was beating the Israeli. Fearing retribution, he flees Egypt. Having found shelter for himself, he marries and tends sheep. But this event is noticed not only by people, but also by someone whom the Jews call “The Lord of Hosts.” And after some time, this someone finds Moses and establishes contact with him. Subjugating him to his will, he forces him to return to Egypt, show the Jewish elders the “Signs” and begin the fight with Pharaoh for the Jews to leave Egypt. In this struggle, someone brings toads to the ground, destroys the cattle of the Egyptians, brings midges, locusts, inflammation to people, and darkness to the sky. But the worst thing is the death of all firstborns. How does this someone distinguish ordinary people and cattle from the firstborn?

Further, having begged a lot of treasures from the Egyptians, the Israelites leave Egypt, supposedly not for long, in order to make a sacrifice to the “Lord of Hosts.” But they leave forever. Of course, such a treacherous act would anger anyone. The pharaoh gives chase and dies along with his army.
From this time on, the records constantly mention a cloud accompanying them on their journey. Moses, on behalf of God, gives the first instructions about the celebration of the Passover, circumcision and sacrifices of all firstborns (“Exodus 13”). As a result of these instructions and trips through the deserts, the tribe of Israelites lost their diet - meat and bread. And God responded to their first murmur with quails and manna. Three months after leaving Egypt, the Israelites make a major stopover in the desert. Here “Savaoth” is trying to show its presence in the form of what is accessible to human perception from its capabilities, fire, smoke, clouds, sound. And also through Moses he gives the first nine prohibitions (“Exodus 20”). And chapters 21 to 23 mainly regulate relationships within the tribe.
Moses then ascends the mountain to God for a full 40 days. There he receives a huge amount of information for action. In Exodus, 8 chapters are devoted to it (from 24 to 31). These are mainly instructions for the construction of the tabernacle (a portable temple made of cloth) and the altar, the priest's robes and the order of sacrifices.

It seems to me quite natural the reaction of the Israelites to the long absence of Moses and the making of the golden calf. But Moses himself returned from the mountain not the same as when he went up there. And if he once killed an Egyptian while defending a Jew, now, on his instructions, the Levites kill about 3,000 fellow tribesmen. But in general, under normal conditions, a normal person without food and water should have died within 40 days. Then he climbed the mountain again for 40 days. Upon returning from it, he began to build a tabernacle, an ark, an altar and install them.

Everything is going well and peacefully, but then the sons of Aron suddenly die in the tabernacle where the ark is located (“Leviticus 10”). They are the first people to die in the tabernacle near the ark, that is, where the cloud descended (“Exodus 40”), where God should live. Uzzah dies from touching the ark during the time of David, although he did nothing bad to anyone (“2 Samuel”, chapter 6). The inhabitants of Vevsamis who looked into the ark - 50,070 people (“1 Kings”, chapter 6). And in the time of Macovey, King Ptolemy Philopator decided to go into the temple - the holy of holies, where only the high priest in clothes had access, and almost died (Book 3 of Macovey, chapter 2).
The four incidents mentioned above took place near the ark, and only the pagan Philopator remained alive (maybe wearing armor). But these are not all stories about deaths not at the hands of people, but from...?
I will give a few more episodes from the “Bible” telling about the unusual death of people.
This account is opened by the firstborn of Egypt and the army of Pharaoh, then by the Israelites themselves. First, these were scouts who were sent to the land of Canaan (“Numbers 13, 14”), then the rebel Levites, and with them all those dissatisfied with Moses - 14,700 people (“Numbers 16”), the Assyrian army - 185,000 people (“Issaiah 37” ).

There is one place in the chapter “Exodus” that is the key to unraveling these events with the incomprehensible death of people - this is the description of the clothes of the first high priest Aaron. They are a screen, only not made of copper, as on the antenna cable, but of gold (“Exodus 28,39”).

As you know, gold does not oxidize and has high electrical conductivity, as a result of which the threads and individual parts of clothing, after being put on, combine into a screen. There is also an audible alarm on the clothing. At the end of the description it is said that Aron needs clothes so as not to die when he enters the sanctuary.
As far as I know, there are currently three technical means a, capable of causing harm to health or killing a person with its radiation. These are atomic and neutron bombs, lasers and high-frequency radars. The question arises: is clothing made about 3000-4000 years ago capable of protecting the human body from any of the above emitters? I think we can say yes..., but depending on the frequency and strength of the radiation, because Aron’s clothes, in their design, are most reminiscent of personnel protection used on high-frequency radars, the only difference is in the metals used and the lack of grounding, if the belt is not touched the ground. But there is a reverse alarm, that is, there is a sound signal on the radar for the personnel, and on clothing for the emitter. Then another question arises: who dosed the radiation in such a way or whose radiation was such that the high priest could enter the sanctuary in clothes, do the necessary work and even run among the Israelites, saving them from defeat during the Levitical revolt, remain alive, while other people died? And why did he die as soon as he took off his clothes (“Numbers 20”).

The ancient Jews were simple and uncomplicated people and did not greatly embellish the events they witnessed. On this, I think, everyone who has read the Old Testament will agree with me. In general, the style of presentation does not change much from Ch. "Exodus" to ch. "Maccabee", i.e. from the time of leaving Egypt until the second century BC. times before the appearance of Jesus Christ. And the language of the New Testament is a completely different language, although the Jews were the same. In my opinion, under the influence of Old Testament mythology, as well as due to the influence of Hellenic culture, the mentality of the Jewish people changed, because Moses commanded to read the book of the covenant once every seven years in front of all the people, and the elders tried to fulfill this. In addition, subsequent biblical prophets helped in creating the myth of the omnipotent Creator-Creator. This myth grew over 1000 BC. Therefore, after the book of the prophet Isaiah, one can hardly find records in which the god of hosts with his instructions would look as unsightly as in the times of Moses and Joshua or the prophet Elijah. Therefore, both the statements of the prophets and the recordings of their statements became more limited, so as not to compromise themselves for fear of their fellow tribesmen being quick to reprisal, for many of the Old Testament prophets were stoned. Therefore, in the New Testament no one talks about the behavior of God himself. If at the beginning of the Old Testament the phrases “and the Lord said”, “and the Lord struck”, “and the Lord stretched out His hand” are often used, then closer to the end of the Testament such phrases do not occur. Well, in the New Testament, God is an invisibly present myth, which then comes to life in the Biography of the Prophet Mohammed; again, simple pagans say what they see.

And yet, thanks to the gradual change in the mentality of the Israelis, we have records of his activities. Even with a very approximate chronology, they stretch for more than 1000 years. So it turns out that, according to the Old Testament, under various circumstances, more than 200 thousand people died at the hand of Jehovah over more than 1000 years.

How to answer the questions: why were sacrifices made three times a day for more than 1000 years, why did the seven-branched candlestick burn all this time, why did the high priests go first to the tabernacle, and then to the temple only in protective clothing, and even with bells at the hem? To protect the human body from solar radiation, one layer of preferably light-colored clothing and some kind of hat on the head is enough - and there will be no sunburn and heatstroke. Chain mail, helmets and other armor were used to protect against sabers and arrows, bulletproof vests were used to protect against bullets, and to protect the health of housewives who were fiddling around in the kitchen near the switched on microwave oven A screen, which at the same time serves as the body of this furnace, is sufficient.
Well, at nuclear power. In case of an emergency, the station has special spacesuits to protect the human body from nuclear radiation.

What type of radiation did the clothes of the main clergy protect from while working in the tabernacle, and later in the temple near the altar and the ark? At the moment, I know of the following technical means that, with their radiation, can harm human health or kill him: atomic or neutron bombs, laser, X-ray machine, high-frequency radar. You can protect yourself quite well from the effects of their radiation, and most of all, metals are used in devices, spacesuits, etc. that protect the human body from radiation. They, in turn, best attenuate not penetrating X-rays or radiation from atomic bombs, but electromagnetic radiation, which in turn, closing on the metal, induces eddy currents in it, which, with high power and a suitable frequency, can melt the metal, but the object , located behind the metal, is not in danger. Whatever the metal, this is the best protection against electromagnetic radiation, especially gold. If Aaron's clothes are hung next to the overalls personal protection, used on tropospheric radars, it will be clear to any more or less competent specialist that the clothes of the priests are not inferior to overalls in terms of protective properties: “And they broke the gold into sheets and pulled out the threads to stick them between the blue, purple, scarlet and fine linen threads, skillfully working "(Exodus 39).

The characteristics of the tropospheric radar radiation are currently still a military secret. But basic knowledge of physics is enough to understand that this protective agent, i.e. overalls and clothes of priests will be quite effective in the range of tens of MHz, since at a lower frequency more power is needed to harm the body, and at a higher frequency high frequency, if, for example, we take the radiation of a microwave oven, i.e. 2.4 GHz, then such radiation will affect the face and hands, because The wavelength is very short, and the face and hands remain unprotected. As for the power, it would be easy to determine experimentally if these experiments did not threaten death for the subjects and molten precious metal.
With this arrangement of frequencies, means and events, I remember Winnie the Pooh bear, who said: “Why should you buzz if you are not a bee”? Why should priests enter the “holy of holies” wearing only protective clothing if there is no life-threatening radiation there? And was it not from this radiation that the firstborn of Egypt, the sons of Aaron, etc. died?

What did the Jews do on the 23rd day of Adar? Why is this day historic? 23 Adar 1311 BC e. The Mishkan, or Tabernacle of the Covenant, was first assembled. After this date, for seven days until the 1st Nisan, the Mishkan was assembled in the morning and dismantled in the evening. Since the 1st Nisan, the Mishkan has become an integral part of the service to the Almighty.

A few words about the tabernacle itself.

The Mishkan, or, as it is also called, the “Tent of Testimony,” “Tent of Meeting,” or (more prosaically) “Temporary Temple,” is a fairly simple grammatical form of the verb, which in the language of the Torah and its Creator means “to dwell,” in the sense “to live, to dwell somewhere”: liShoKON. So in Hebrew - the language in which the Almighty created the world - the root is Ш - Х/К - Н with the idea of residence, domicile, “registration”, to use the term from Soviet passports.

The Mishkan was a large courtyard fenced with linen curtains, in the western part there was a building, the walls of which consisted of wooden beams, on which a triple tent was spread: the lower roof was formed from panels woven from multi-colored wool and flax, the second from goat down, and the third, upper one, is made from tanned skins. In front of this building in the courtyard stood a copper altar, on which the fire that fell from the sky during the consecration of the Mishkan burned continuously, and sacrifices were offered. Inside the building, in its outer part, there were three sacred objects: a “golden altar” for burning incense, a table for special breads and a “menorah” - a seven-branched lamp. The entrances to the courtyard and to the Mishkan building itself were covered with huge curtains, and inside the building itself a special curtain separated its outer part, the kodesh, from the Holy of Holies, the kodesh-kodashim. In the Holy of Holies stood the Ark of the Covenant, which contained the Tablets, and later also a vessel with “manna”, which the Jews ate for 40 years in the desert, and a Torah scroll written by the hand of Moshe.

The tabernacle erected by Moses in one year exactly as described by God was a more than impressive spectacle. In the center of the huge courtyard, made of expensive fabrics hung from poles, there was a large tent, divided into two parts by a curtain. The first room was located opposite the entrance and was called the Holy Place.

Here was located the Altar of Burnt Offering, a golden Menorah - a seven-branched sanctuary and a table with ritual bread, on which lay 12 loaves, laid out in 2 rows of 6 pieces each. These “showbread” symbolized the 12 tribes of Israel, that is, 12 generations, and were renewed once a week.

The second room, hidden by a curtain, was called the “Holy of Holies,” inside which the Ark of the Covenant was kept, and above the Ark there was a lid, in other words, a board of reconciliation (purification), supported and overshadowed by Cherubim and called the Place of Forgiveness.

And this was used in Egypt.

On Aaron’s clothes there were 12 stones, according to the number of “tribes of Israel”, about which quite a lot has been said by experts in the Bible and stones. Bells were also sewn onto the clothes. But since the bells on the clothes in which the high priest entered the temple were located along the hem, i.e. below the knees, the bells rang frantically only when moving. And when he worked with his hands, while filling the seven-branched candlestick, wiping the dust from the same ark, the bells were silent or rang quietly, since the priest at that moment did not move and did not kick the hem of the robe with the bells. Quite a practical idea, but who?

If you just follow the logic, then Moses told about how to make these clothes on behalf of the Israeli god of hosts. But what are these clothes for? The Bible has a clear answer: “It will be upon Aaron to serve, so that a sound may be heard from him when he enters into the sanctuary before the Lord and when he comes out, so that he will not die” (Exodus 28).

If we think a little about the appropriateness of such an arrangement of bells, then we should assume that some invisible living creature, resting in the tabernacle, capable of hearing the sound made by the bells, did not want to encounter the priest and, most likely, left the tabernacle or simply woke up and moved to the side when his approach. And since the perception system of a person, in this case a priest, could not determine the location of this creature in space and time, he could collide with it and cause harm to it. This conclusion contradicts the “description of the world” modern man who considers himself to be part of the civilized world. Why did these bells ring for over 1000 years?

After the death of Aaron's sons, none of the Israelites tried to enter the tabernacle out of idle curiosity. It may well be that many of them guessed that Aaron died for a reason as soon as he took off his clothes.

A lot of time passed, and the tribe of Israel, without supervision, forgot a lot and, like a flock, scattered, as a result of which, during one of the battles, the ark fell into the hands of the Philistines (1 Samuel, 4). They struggled with the ark and decided to return it (1 Samuel, 5). And again curiosity failed the Israelis: for the pleasure of looking into the ark, which stood on a stone in the field, the sons of Jehonene, the inhabitants of Vebsamis - 50,070 people - paid with their lives. After this and other incidents, the Israelis lost their curiosity for a long time.

Looking at the world lying before your eyes, you want to say to yourself: That’s all there is. The rest is all nonsense and fantasy of a mind overloaded with information. After all, over thousands of years, repeated translations of the description of clothes could have become distorted in such a way that their “shielding” abilities are now seen behind this description.

Yes, but then where does such thoughtfulness in actions come from? After all, the Israelites naively believed that they stole the gold according to the teachings of Moses for themselves, but in reality it turned out that their God, with their help, plundered Egypt for his own needs. The gold, copper, and silver most likely went entirely into making the tabernacle, its utensils, and Aaron's clothing. The number of metals listed above was quite impressive: gold - 29 talents, 730 shekels; silver - 100 talents, 775 shekels; copper - 70 talents and 2400 shekels (Exodus 38). In part, this was the reason for the dissatisfaction of the Israelis with their leaders - Aron and Moses, which later resulted in a rebellion.

Another significant reason for discontent was the deterioration of the diet, since they roamed in the desert, they did not have the opportunity to fish, sow and harvest crops. All that remained was cattle, of which three souls a day had to be sacrificed to God. At this time, “manna from heaven” was sent to them, and one day they ate quails (Numbers 11). Therefore, the Israelites more and more often began to remind Moses of the blessed days of their “hard slavery” in Egypt, and God, in response to their grumbling, gradually destroyed them (Numbers 11, 14, 16). This development of the scenario is quite standard in the interaction of living intelligent beings, when one individual obsessively looks after others and demands submission and gratitude for this, not suspecting that his charges are already tired and irritated. In the end, this situation resulted in the largest uprising of the Israelis - an event whose scenario could not have happened without the use of two technical means: the first is the above-mentioned clothing of Aaron (“screen”) and the second is “smoke”, a means of practicing magicians and shamans and other clergy.

“And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying: Depart from this congregation, and I will destroy them in a moment. But they fell on their faces. And Moses said to Aron: “Take the censer and put fire from the altar and some incense into it, and bring it quickly to the congregation and intercede for them, for wrath has gone out from the Lord, and defeat has begun. And Aron took it, as Moses said, and ran into the midst of the community, and now the defeat among the people had already begun. And he put down the smoking. And he protected the people. He stood between the dead and the living, and the defeat stopped. And 14,700 people died from the defeat” (Numbers 16).

In this story, it is clear to any competent electrical engineer that the frequency and strength of the radiation, very similar to electromagnetic radiation, was such that it killed people, but at the same time did not exceed the protective properties of the “screen” worn by Aaron. Well, as for the “smoke”, its properties and methods of use will be discussed later.

So who is he, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, etc., who lit the altars of the prophets, Moses and Elijah, who burned 250 Levites? I will take the liberty of suggesting that more than 3,000 years ago, man encountered another intelligent form of life. As Carl Gustav Jung says in his letter to Morton: - “The stumbling block is Yahweh’s lack of human morality.” Indeed, when you read about Yahweh, you see actions that are far from human morality.

Many scientists of the last century dreamed of such contact with aliens, but it turned out that thanks to the crazy difference in perception systems (hers and humans), this other intelligent form of life has long taken control of the development of human relationships and the foundations of the way of life in the place of its “habitat” ( Near East). And what came out of this was, basically, the writing of 3 books, which can be called primary sources, i.e. Bible, Gospel and Koran. These books, to one degree or another, influenced almost 2/3 of the world's population, although personal support to believers, this form life affects only the location of its location at a given moment in time. The very place where it is located (i.e. this intelligent form of life) is the Middle East, the environs of the cities of Jerusalem, Mecca, Medina, etc.

According to the texts of the Bible, Moses and his fellow tribesmen, while wandering through the desert, met God, who descended from heaven to the top of Mount Sinai in fire and smoke:

“Mount Sinai was all smoking because the Lord had descended on it in fire; and smoke rose from it like smoke from a furnace, and the whole mountain shook greatly; and the sound of the trumpet grew stronger and stronger" (Exodus 19, 18, 19).

Moses climbed to the top of the mountain, met with God and stayed with him for forty days and forty nights. There he received and memorized detailed instructions on how to build and equip a special mobile dismountable temple - a tabernacle, with the help of which Moses had the opportunity to periodically maintain, in modern technical language, two-way visual-auditory communication with God. The text emphasizes several times that models of the tabernacle and all its components were shown to Moses on the mountain: “[Do] everything as I show you, both the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all the vessels thereof; do so" (Exodus 25:9).

In addition, Moses was also given ready-made parts, which, apparently, could not be manufactured using primitive Jewish technology. These details were the so-called “stone tablets.”
What is very important, the biblical texts give a very detailed, scrupulous description of the tabernacle, the dimensions of its components, the order of assembly and disassembly, maintenance rules, “safety” measures, etc. The nature of the presentation indicates that this information was memorized and passed on to initiates, and only through long time were written down and included in the text of the Bible. With this nature of knowledge transfer, no deviations from the text were allowed; not a single word could be changed, although the true meaning of what was said was not clear to those who spoke. Scientists, by the way, are constantly faced with this method of transmitting knowledge, when the guarantee of the accuracy of the transmitted information is its transformation into a religious ritual, any deviation from which, even in the smallest details, was not allowed.
According to biblical information, the tabernacle mounted on the ground was a structure strictly oriented to the cardinal points, rectangular in plan, measuring 28x40 cubits.

Its plan is shown in the figure:

This structure consisted of vertical, closely spaced beams connected at the top by horizontal poles. This is what the “technical assignment received by Moses on Mount Sinai” looked like:

“...Make the beams for the tabernacle from shittim wood so that they stand: ten cubits long (make) the beam and one and a half cubits wide for each beam... And overlay the beams with gold, and make the rings for putting in the poles of gold, and overlay the poles with gold.” (“Exodus”, 26, 15-29)

There were 20 such beams installed on the southern and northern sides of the tabernacle, and 8 on the western sides. They were fastened with poles made of the same shittim wood, overlaid with gold. Each beam had two golden spikes at the bottom, which were inserted into sockets on two silver bases. Inside, the tabernacle was divided into two parts by a partition of four pillars overlaid with gold, each standing on one silver base. A cloth curtain was hung on the partition, dividing the tabernacle into two rooms - the front and back, the so-called “holy of holies”, into which only the chief priest had the right to enter. Apparently, the partition also served as an additional support for the roof, which consisted of a panel of fabric and two layers of leather. All the walls of the tabernacle were also covered with cloth covers. Finally, on the eastern side, through which the priest-priest entered the tabernacle, five pillars were installed, again overlaid with gold, on five cast copper bases.
As you can see, it was clearly agreed upon: how many pillars to install on each side of the tabernacle, what material to make their stools from, etc.

The only source of lighting inside the tabernacle, and even then in the front part of the room, and not in the “holy of holies,” was a lamp of seven lamps with olive oil. Probably, such twilight was planned initially, for it was in the “holy of holies” that the image of God appeared in the “cloud of fire”, from whom Moses received orders.
The tabernacle was also fenced with a concentric rectangular fence measuring 50x100 meters around the perimeter, consisting of 60 pillars half as high as the pillars of the tabernacle itself, covered with silver and standing on copper bases.
The pillars of this fence stood at a distance of 3.5 cubits from each other, while the pillars of the tabernacle itself were separated by intervals of only 0.5 cubits. They were also covered with cloth.

From the east, the so-called entrance adjoined the courtyard of the tabernacle - a rectangle formed from six pillars 15 cubits high from the north, and four 20 cubits high from the east. The entrance pillars were also made of shittim wood, overlaid with silver and stood on brass bases, and curtains of cloth were also hung on them.

When you think about this text, you are amazed at the number and size of the parts that made up this temple, which, given the gold cladding, must have had considerable weight. Strange construction gigantism and luxury, at first glance unacceptable for a poor nomadic tribe, which sometimes did not have anything to eat.

Some more images of the tabernacle:

And this is an image of those same mysterious tablets:

The design of the tabernacle also looks strange. This is not a rigid structure such as the frame of a yurt or tent, but a relatively weakly stable fence made of heavy vertical elements.
Here we encounter the same paradox that can be encountered when studying megaliths: the gigantism of the structure, as if not arising from rational needs. It does not follow only if we proceed from the assumption that the tabernacle was a temple and nothing more. However, even a cursory glance at this structure is enough to doubt whether it is a temple? Or rather, only the temple? The Tabernacle looks suspiciously rational, correct, and its details are striking in their strict rhythmic subordination. The lamp is the only item from the Tabernacle of Moses, the image of which has survived to our time.

He looked like this:

The table, incense altar and lamp were carried using gold-lined poles, which were placed in special gold rings attached to these objects. In the courtyard of the tabernacle, in front of its entrance, there was a laver for washing the hands and feet of the priests and an altar of burnt offering, which was a box made of shittim, lined with sheet copper. In its front part there were “horns” protruding at the corners, on which a single lattice was placed, mentioned in the text. A fire was lit on the altar, and the carcasses of sacrificial animals (rams, calves, etc.) were placed on the grate above it, and by burning them, Moses performed a special ritual to obtain a “fragrance” pleasing to the Lord.” In the back, unlit part of the tabernacle, the “holy of holies,” was its most sacred object—the “ark of the testimony.”

In this room, according to the text, God appeared during his communication with Moses:

“When Moses entered into the tabernacle of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard a voice speaking to him from the mercy seat that was over the ark of the testimony between the two cherubim, and it spoke to him” (Numbers 7:89).
“And the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as one speaks to his friend...” (Exodus 33:11).

According to the descriptions, the ark of the testimony was a box made of shittim wood, lined with gold outside and inside, with a crown at the top. The dimensions of the box are 2.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 cubits. The top of the ark was covered with a special golden lid with two figurines of cherubs.

“...Thou shalt make two cherubs of gold: of hammered work make them at both ends of the lid; make one cherub on one side, and another cherub on the other side; make cherubs protruding from the lid on both edges of it; And the cherubim will have their wings spread upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces will be toward each other: the faces of the cherubim will be toward the mercy seat. And put the mercy seat on the top of the ark, and put the testimony that I gave you into the ark; There I will reveal myself to you and speak to you above the mercy seat, in the midst of the two cherubim that are above the ark of the testimony...”
(Exodus, 25, 18 22).

Here's what it all looked like:

Now let's try to look at all this information through the eyes of a modern engineer. Most of all, the tabernacle (a structure of rationally located vertical metal, or rather, metal-covered, pillars) resembles a radio-technical device such as an antenna array. Generally speaking, any set of metal objects can act as a device that reflects radio waves. But in this case it is not just a random set of metal objects, but an ordered system that provides the maximum effective action. First of all, we note that the structure in question (the tabernacle) has a significant conducting surface and could be used as a passive reflective system for meter-wave radio waves. This is evidenced by the following data.

All dimensions of the structure, the long sides of the tabernacle and its fence, the distance between the tabernacle and the fence, the height of the pillars, etc.) turn out to be a multiple of the length of 10 cubits. In other words, this entire system was an effective reflective device for radio waves with a wavelength l equal to 20 cubits (1/2l - 10 cubits). If we convert this to meters using cubit values, then the wavelength will accordingly be in the range from 8 to 12 meters, i.e. within the meter range. We think it was close to 12 meters. The bars of the tabernacle, 10 cubits high, could play the role of semiconductor vibrators, short-circuited at the top with conductive poles; the bars of the fence of the tabernacle, 5 cubits high, could play the role of quarter-wave vibrators, open-circuited from above; All these elements interact most effectively with a wave 20 cubits long.

It is known that in the radio frequency range under consideration, dry soil (in this case, desert sand) is a conductor; for effective wave reflection it is necessary to have a conductive surface in which vertical slots are allowed. This is exactly what is realized in the design of the tabernacle.
It is also very significant that with the considered parameters of the antenna array, the error in the installation of its elements (bars) should not exceed 25-30 cm, which could well have been ensured by the service personnel - the priests. If the tabernacle had been designed for a range of shorter radio waves (for example, centimeter), then the details of the device could not have been assembled by the priests of Moses with the necessary accuracy. We also note that modern long-range radar stations operating in the meter range are little affected by atmospheric interference (lightning discharges) and precipitation. snow, rain) compared to the decimeter and centimeter range.

So, the tabernacle could be a passive reflective grid, which is not contradicted by its design. But it could simultaneously be another radio device, namely, part of a transceiver device for operating in the radio range. Calculations show that at a radio frequency half that of the reflected one (i.e., 10 cubits), it could serve as a guiding antenna for the irradiator located in another place where the ark was installed in the tabernacle. In this case, the western wall of the tabernacle could play the role of a reflector.

The fact that the tabernacle served Moses as a means of two-way communication with God is said many times in the text. To communicate, Moses at a certain time had to enter the Holy of Holies and stand near the ark, above the lid of which an image of God appeared between the figures of two cherubim and his voice was heard.

The most important detail of the entire biblical radio engineering device was, undoubtedly, the two stone tablets, which Moses received ready-made from the hands of God and placed in the ark. All other parts of the tabernacle were made by Moses' craftsmen according to the instructions received, but they could not make the tablets themselves.
It is amazing that the main shrine of the temple, kept in a casket made of precious metal, was made, as the Bible states, of simple stone. The logical conclusion from this may be the following: the substance from which these tablets were made only seemed like stone to the nomadic cattle breeders. In their poor vocabulary there were simply no other terms to refer to this substance.
Judging by the text, few saw these tablets except Moses, and for those who did see them, it ended very sadly. We assume that Moses received from the hands of God (a representative of a highly developed extraterrestrial civilization) two blocks of a complex device such as a radio circuit, assembled from crystalline elements (“stone”). The order of putting the blocks into the ark may have been decided in a unique way, namely, it was determined by the text of the 10 Commandments printed on them (remember that the tablets were written by the hand of God on both sides).
Perhaps the letters themselves or the spaces between them served as contacts to connect both blocks together. Judging by the text, these same tablets contained an energy source that ensured the long-term operation of the entire receiving and transmitting device. Based on our current level of knowledge, it can be assumed that such a source could be an isotope battery.

Let's take another look at these tablets. Why were there 2 of them? Have you ever asked yourself this question?

The device was put into operation when both of its blocks were placed inside the ark (it is possible that the transmitter was turned on remotely).
Based on the current level of knowledge, it can be argued that in a box the size of the Ark of the Covenant, it is quite possible to place a compact transceiver device and an isotope power source. True, this device would have to operate in pulse mode (periodic accumulation of energy and relatively short-term operation in the receive-transmit mode - we will return to this issue later. Remember this point.). This does not contradict the text. The isotope energy source in this device could not be very powerful for the reason that in this case it would become dangerous for the operating personnel. Hence the need to work in pulse mode.

Nevertheless, the text implies that the tabernacle, and especially the ark, was extremely dangerous for people at certain times. One of the biblical texts, for example, tells how during the war with the Philistines, the army of the Israelites was defeated, and their shrine - the Ark of the Covenant - fell into the hands of enemies. As a valuable war trophy, the ark was brought by the Philistines to the city of Azoth. This led to big troubles:

“And the hand of the Lord became heavy upon the Azothites, and He smote them and punished them with painful growths, in Azoth and its environs... And the Azothians saw this, and said: Let not the ark of the God of Israel remain with us, for His hand is heavy... And they said: Let the ark... will go to Gath. After they sent him, the hand of the Lord came upon the city with a very great terror, and the Lord struck the inhabitants of the city from small to large, and growths appeared on them. And they sent the ark of God to Ascalon; and when the ark of God came to Ashkelon, the Ashkelonites cried out, saying: They have brought to us the ark of the God of Israel to kill us and our people... There was mortal horror throughout the whole city; the hand of God was very heavy upon them... And those who did not die were struck with growths, so that the cry of the city ascended to heaven" (First Book of Kings, 5, 6 12)

The Philistines were punished for their curiosity: they looked inside the ark by lifting the protective cover. When in the end it was decided to return the dangerous trophy back to the Israelis, they were overjoyed when they saw their shrine. The ark was installed on a large stone, and a solemn sacrifice was performed. But the Israelis’ joy turned out to be premature:

“...He struck down the inhabitants of Bethshemesh because they looked into the ark of the Lord (emphasis added by us - F., Sh.), and killed fifty thousand and seventy people from the people; The people wept, for the Lord had struck the people with a great defeat” (First Book of Kings, 6:19).

Elsewhere in the Bible the event that occurred during the transport of the ark to the capital of King David is recounted:

“And they put the ark of God on a new chariot, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab... And the sons of Abinadab, Uzzah and Ahio, drove the new chariot... And when they reached the threshing floor of Nacho, Uzzah stretched out his hand to the ark of God [to hold it], and took for him, for the oxen overthrew him. But the Lord was angry with Uzzah, and God struck him there for his insolence, and he died there at the ark of God" (Second Book of Kings, 6, 3 7)

Why did so many people die because of this tabernacle? What was causing so many unexplained deaths? We will try to give answers to these and other questions.

Sudden death from touching the ark is very similar to the result of an electric shock. But why didn’t Moses die, carrying the tablets in his hands, descending from Mount Sinai? We have already suggested that the tablets could be turned on and become dangerous remotely, that is, by a special signal from the outside. In addition, it can be assumed that Moses’ teachers tried to protect him before this campaign with the tablets in their hands. They themselves, judging by the text, well understood the danger of the described device. This is evidenced by the numerous instructions that Moses received on Mount and subsequently received more than once during communication sessions. These safety measures included the following provisions:

Firstly, a very limited circle of people were allowed into the tabernacle. From the text it follows that the tabernacle was served only by the Levites, i.e. priests. In turn, they were divided into several categories depending on the “degree of tolerance.” Levites of the lowest category served as the external guard of the tabernacle, others were responsible for assembling and dismantling the temple, others were responsible for packing sacred objects, others were responsible for transporting them, etc. The Ark of the Covenant was required to be carried in the hands using poles, having previously wrapped it in a special woolen (possibly insulating) fabric. Only Moses' brother Aaron and a limited number of his sons and immediate relatives were allowed to work inside the tabernacle - sacrifices, lighting the lamp and other rituals. Only Moses alone had the right to enter inside the “holy of holies,” and even then not always. He also had the exclusive right to communicate with God.

Secondly, the design of the tabernacle itself made it difficult for an outsider to enter the danger zone. Let us remember how close the pillars of the tabernacle stood to each other (about 30 cm): it was hardly possible to squeeze through these gaps easily, especially since they were also covered with a curtain of thick fabric. In addition, entering and even approaching the tabernacle was prohibited by the strictest taboos; Levites were constantly guarding the tabernacle, then there was a fence around the tabernacle - the courtyard of the tabernacle, and there was also a guard around this area.

All this richly metalized clothing, which the Levite wore when entering the tabernacle, resembles “the Maxwell cage, well known to modern physicists. A person inside a grounded metal cage can be in an electric field of very high intensity without harm to himself. As noted by J. Michel and R. Rickard, if on a fabric mannequin of a person you place a metal comb on the head, a metal brooch on the chest, and surround the mannequin with a metal belt, then the electric discharge of lightning will pass through these metal objects without touching the mannequin.” But it was precisely these metal parts that were contained in the protective clothing of Moses and his assistants, and the “comb” on the head (diadem), and the “brooch” on the chest (confidant), and the metal belt.

However, even with this protective clothing, initiates were not always allowed to enter the tabernacle.

“And the Lord said to Moses: Tell Aaron your brother not to go into the sanctuary at all times, behind the veil, before the mercy seat that is on the ark, lest he die; for above the mercy seat I will appear in a cloud” (Leviticus 16:2).

It was especially dangerous to enter the tabernacle and even approach it when it was overshadowed by light or filled with a cloud, which was well known to Moses:

“...And Moses could not enter into the tabernacle of meeting, because a cloud overshadowed it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle” (Exodus 40, 35)

Although specific precautions were given by God, the texts contain several descriptions of the death of people in the tabernacle. Of course, the Bible authors explain all these cases by saying that the victims were punished by God for breaking the laws:

“Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron... brought strange fire before the Lord, which He commanded not them; and fire came out from the Lord and burned them, and they died before the Lord. And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan... and said to them, Go, carry your brothers out of the sanctuary and beyond the camp. And they went and carried them out in their tunics outside the camp, as Moses said. Moses said to Aaron, and Eleazar, and Ithamar, his sons, “Do not uncover your heads, and do not tear your clothes, lest you die” (Leviticus 10:1-6).

From the above passage it is clear that Nadab and Abihu were not “burnt, but most likely killed by an electric discharge (since the tunics remained intact), and Moses, understanding the importance of protective clothing, violated the traditional ritual for the dead (“do not uncover your heads and do not tear your clothes).
It is likely that sometimes accidents were not Moses' fault. Something wasn't working in the Tabernacle itself. After one such incident, when fire came out of it and defeat began among the people” (mass death of people), panic began in the camp:

And the children of Israel said to Moses: “Behold, we are dying, we are perishing, we are all perishing! Everyone who approaches the tabernacle of the Lord dies: shall we not all die?” (Numbers, 17, 12)

In this case, Moses had to urgently contact God and ask him to intercede for the people. Aaron was reprimanded:

“And the Lord said to Aaron, “You and your sons and your father’s house with you will bear the sin of your neglect in the sanctuary; and you and your sons with you will bear the sin of your priesthood” (Numbers 18:2).

Generally speaking, Aaron, who succeeded Moses as high priest at the end of a long career, apparently did not take his duties as zealously as Moses. This, in particular, is evidenced by the following instruction that he received from God:

“And the Lord spake to Aaron, saying, Do not drink wine or strong drink, you and your sons with you, when you enter the tabernacle of meeting [or approach the altar], lest you die” (Leviticus 10:8-9).

Sometimes Moses skillfully used the dangerous properties of the tabernacle for personal gain in order to further strengthen his authority or punish the disobedient. So, when Aaron and his wife Miriam rebelled against Moses, challenging his sole right to communicate with God, Moses invited them to appear before the face of the Lord at the moment when the Lord descended into the tabernacle in the pillar of cloud, i.e. at the most dangerous time.

“And the wrath of the Lord was kindled against them... And the cloud departed from the tabernacle, and behold, Miriam was covered with leprosy as with snow. Aaron looked at Miriam, and behold, she was leprous” (Numbers 12:9-10).

As a result of this incident, Aaron (probably because he was wearing protective clothing, like Moses), escaped with a slight fright. The instigator of the riot, Mariam, received a lethal dose of some kind of radiation (?). Thus, Moses presented an object lesson to the disobedient and once again confirmed his exclusive right to communicate with God.

How was this connection made? It follows from the texts that at certain moments Moses entered the Holy of Holies, saw an image of God in a fiery cloud between the figures of two cherubim on the lid of the ark, and heard a voice coming from there. What could be the operating principles of this communication device?
It can be suggested that the figures of cherubs with outstretched wings were dischargers, between which a plasma (“fire”) cloud appeared, in which, in some way unknown to us, a three-dimensional (holographic?) image of the subscriber Moses was generated. It is not clear from the text whether the image that Moses saw above the mercy seat was moving. Rather, it was a still image (photograph) projected during a communication session. Today our communication technology does not have such devices, but this does not make this assumption fantastic.
A much clearer message is that a voice was heard from this fiery cloud. Modern technology knows devices in which a plasma cord (for example, an electric arc flame), included in an oscillatory circuit, can serve as a source of sound vibrations, i.e. a kind of speaker.

Thus, in 1951, the inventor Z. Klein developed a promising model of a loudspeaker - an ionophone, working on the principle of air ionization. In this sound-reproducing device, a high-frequency electric field is applied to a metal tip. As a result of the corona discharge, ionization of the air occurs, as a result of which a significant increase in temperature occurs around the tip, and the air decompresses and turns into plasma. The electrical signal modulates the amplitude of the discharge voltage, which leads to temperature fluctuations, which in turn change the degree of pressure, and hence the sound vibrations of the plasma ball. By the way, the quality of sound reproduction and other data of the device are far superior to all known sound reproduction systems. So didn’t 3. Klein invent the device that Moses used 3200 years before him?

So, from the biblical texts it clearly follows that the tabernacle made it possible for Moses to periodically enter into two-way contact with God (representatives of extraterrestrial civilization). But from the same texts it is clear that this structure was very bulky, extremely dangerous and required complex handling rules and a large number of maintenance personnel. The question is legitimate: if the connection between the aliens and Moses was an end in itself, then wouldn’t it have been easier to equip him with a portable transceiver device, rather than force him to carry a mountain of heavy gilded logs across the desert, periodically unwrap the entire structure, guard it, expose himself and the entire tribe to dangers and etc.? Since it was the latter option that was chosen, it is reasonable to ask: for what purpose was the tabernacle created? It seems to us that this mystery is as multi-layered as the megaliths, and by removing one layer of the unknown, we expose deeper, increasingly complex layers...

Thirdly, persons allowed inside the tabernacle were required to wear special clothing, which consisted of the following components:

1. Underwear of linen, which must be clean (so as not to cause sin and death), in other words, an insulator.

2. Long outer clothing (tunic and chasuble), replete with gold jewelry, with gold threads woven into the fabric with a massive gold breastplate, gilded belt, etc. an alleged conductor, and, apparently, grounded (the clothing probably touched the ground ).

3. Along the hem of the robe there are golden bells (so that a sound can be heard from him when he enters the sanctuary before the face of the Lord, and when he leaves, so that he does not die) a sound alarm warning that a person is entering a dangerous zone.

4. On the headdress there is a massive polished gold plate - a diadem (and it will always be on his forehead).

Let us pay attention to one more aspect of this biblical story. According to the Bible, God committed to lead a tribe of ancient Hebrews from captivity in Egypt to the Promised Land. For some reason, this campaign took an incredibly long time: the journey from the Nile Valley to the Jordan Valley (a distance of about 1000 km) lasted for ... 40 years! Meanwhile, it is quite obvious that such a distance, even in desert conditions, on carts drawn by oxen, with numerous belongings and livestock, could be quite successfully overcome in six months or a year. They walked for a very long time. The text contains, for example, references to the first and second years of the journey; during the campaign, Moses and Aaron managed to grow old, a change of generations occurred, and all the events described (wars with other tribes, skirmishes, riots) had to happen within a couple of decades.

The tribe moved along an extremely strange, complex and confusing path, reminiscent of the trajectory of a particle during Brownian motion: repeatedly returning to the same place, backing away, crossing its own path.

It was interesting to put this path on the map:

Please note that all of these moves of Moses were carried out within the same area, territory. They just didn't sit still.

In general, while reading the text, one gets the impression that Moses had no idea where to lead the tribe and was entirely guided by instructions from above. The entire journey was carried out according to the direct instructions of God (representatives of extraterrestrial civilization): he led Moses’ fellow tribesmen along one route known to him, noting the places and duration of stops. Apparently, Moses received instructions in advance where to go next. He announced this high decision and organized the next move. However, sometimes there are descriptions of how a pillar of cloud walked in front of a tribe moving through the desert during the day and a pillar of fire at night. Where they stopped, Moses ordered the tabernacle to be unfolded. The description of this hike with completely incomprehensible and illogical zigzags, turns, and stops at different times is least like a story about moving from one point to another. It is, rather, groping for some points or objects on the ground, searching for something, exploring the desert or some of its zones.

All these repeatedly mentioned pillars of fire (at night) and clouds (during the day) look intriguing. They either walked in front of the tabernacle or filled it at one time or another. As already mentioned, at the moment when the cloud filled the tabernacle, even Moses was strictly forbidden to enter it. It turns out that the tabernacle, in addition to being a communication device, was also a research device, a kind of frame with the help of which the aliens were engaged in some kind of long-term research.

As a hypothesis, it can be suggested that the cloud pillars and fire clouds were areas of ionized air that glowed in the channel of powerful microwave radiation transmitted from Space. In this case, the tabernacle could play the role of a protective device (the radiation channel was fenced off at the surface of the Earth with a double conductive fence).
It is clear that if the focus was broken, the microwave beam would go beyond the tabernacle and could cause defeat among the people. If the tabernacle played the role of a protective or, perhaps, focusing device, then all these transfers of energy from the Cosmos to it could pursue goals related, for example, to studying the internal structure of the Earth. The pumping of energy at certain points could be associated with electromagnetic soundings.

It can also be assumed that the aliens groped for energetically active areas of the earth's crust to charge, say, their batteries. Let us remember that all the wanderings of the tribe of Moses took place in the zone of the East African Rift System, passing from the river. Zambezi in the south to the Dead Sea and the river valley. Jordan in the north. This is an extremely tectonically active area of the Earth, with very powerful energy flows, manifested in strong earthquakes, volcanism, etc.

The luminous “pillars” could also be beams of microlepton radiation, which some scientists are now talking about. The descriptions of pillars of fire and the Bible are reminiscent of those strange tube-shaped light rays that have been repeatedly observed emerging from UFOs hovering above the Earth. Witnesses describe the strange properties of these rays: their ability to shorten or lengthen, illuminate areas of the Earth very brightly, etc.

For now, we can state the following. The newcomers during the time of Moses spent a long time engaged in work that is still mysterious to us. For some reason, it was more convenient for them not to move the research frame or lattice (tabernacle) across the earth themselves, but to entrust this to their representative, Moses.

So, from everything that was written, we concluded that representatives of an extraterrestrial civilization led people through the desert for 40 years, studying it (for reasons unknown to us, although I gave several versions in the previous post). This story does not portray the actions of the aliens in a very favorable moral and ethical light (from our earthly, human point of view). A group of Earth inhabitants have been used for forty years, if not as guinea pigs, then at least as executors of someone else’s will. Safety precautions were used rather for the purpose of retaining trained individuals for the sake of continuing the experience. At the end of the journey, when the program had probably already been completed and the tribe entered the “promised land”, the dangerous apparatus (the ark with the tablets) was not destroyed or rendered harmless; it continued to harm people for many years (remember the episode with the death of thousands Philistines and Israelites who looked into the ark).

Now let's look at this whole story from a completely different point of view. The extraterrestrials, for reasons unknown to us, were interested in isolating a group of people in the surrounding world and excluding them for two generations from any contact with the rest of humanity. Reflecting on the reasons for this behavior of extraterrestrials, one can come to the conclusion that they wanted to re-educate this group of people, instilling in them new norms of behavior and way of thinking. Because etch slave psychology the older generation did not succeed, then they had to lead the tribe through the desert for 40 years until a change of two generations occurred.”
Indeed, in the Bible, reproaches against the tribe of Moses about their stiff necks and numerous vices are repeatedly heard from the lips of God. Ultimately, God told Moses that no one from his generation would enter the Promised Land, and he carried out that threat. Neither Moses nor Aaron, nor any of the first generation of Jews entered the “promised land.” An exception was made only for Joshua and Caleb, the son of Jetho, from the second generation (the latter is said to have had a different spirit. I wonder what kind of spirit? Was it extraterrestrial?):

“... only to their children who are here with Me, who do not know what is good and what is evil, to all the young ones who do not understand anything, I will give the land to them, but all those who provoked Me will not see it” (Numbers 14, 23).

Let's dig even deeper... It is possible that the tribe's 40-year wanderings through the desert were not just a necessary period of time for a change of generations. It seems that all this time a long-term experiment was carried out on the genetic influence on the generations being born, on their alteration in the right direction. Perhaps the tabernacle was a tool that helped to find the most favorable energy areas, the zones of action of the positive earth's field. The conception of children in such zones contributed to the emergence of new genetic characteristics that were inherited. After 40 years, completely different people approached the promised land, different from their ancestors who came out of Egypt. It is also possible that the tabernacle was not just a “probe” for finding such favorable energy zones, but a device that actively transforms energy flows, enhancing their influence on people.

Surprising as it may seem, we want to draw a parallel between the tabernacle and megalithic structures. In particular, the tabernacle resembles cromlechs such as Stonehenge. The common features of these seemingly slightly similar structures are as follows:

1. Both Stonehenge and the Tabernacle of Moses consisted of large vertical blocks. The only difference is in the material - the sarsens and trilithons of Stonehenge were made of stone, the beams of the tabernacle were made of wood covered with gold or silver.

2. Both the tabernacle and Stonehenge (its cromlech) contained horizontal elements that short-circuited the pillars at the top. At the tabernacle these were gilded poles, at Stonehenge - stone crossbars of sarsens and trilithons.

3. The geometric parameters of the vertical elements of both structures were of the same order. Thus, the height of the sarsens is 5.5 m, the trilithons are 6.0, 6.5 and 7.3 m (with crossbars). The height of the pillars of the tabernacle is 6 m.

4. The tabernacle contained “stone elements” of the tablet (a supposed radio device made from crystalline elements). We cannot exclude the possibility that the tablets worked on the same principles as dolmens and other megalithic transmitters (in particular, generating radio waves due to the piezoelectric effect, etc.)

5. It seems that the megaliths, like the tabernacle, were located in energetically active zones and nodes of the Earth.

Firstly, in my opinion, the “Pentateuch”, i.e. The Torah was written down while Moses was alive. At the time of leaving Egypt, the Israelites must have had people who knew writing, because one person could have lived so long in such a highly developed state as Egypt of that time (in which artisans wrote letters to each other) and not adopted any writing, but not several thousand. In addition, Moses himself grew up in the family of Pharaoh and before his death he bequeathed to read the texts once every seven years, and if they had not been written down, then during this period such a large amount of very accurate information would most likely have been forgotten. And in the book of Exodus chapter 18, Moses, along with the thousand, one hundred and fifty rulers, mentions “scribes.”

Secondly, in the strange Old Testament events, the authors see “a representative of a highly developed extraterrestrial civilization.” But, examining the biblical records, one should not dwell only on the events of 3 thousand years ago, because the priest Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist, also had a meeting with the “representative” in the temple: “Then the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense. Zechariah, seeing him, was embarrassed, and fear attacked him. The angel said to him: Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you will call his name John” (Luke 1).
One can compare the “jewelry” burning of the Levites with the current “jewelry” lighting of candles in the Jerusalem Church of the Holy Sepulcher on Easter, which is sometimes accompanied by the appearance of a cloud near the temple, and according to the information I have, not only in it and not only on Easter:

“And fire came out from the Lord and consumed the two hundred and fifty men who brought the incense.
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Tell Eliezer. Aaron's son, the priest, let him gather up the copper censers of those who were burned and throw out the fire: for the censers of these sinners were sanctified by their death.” (Exodus 16)

And if we add to this the lighting of altars, to Moses and the Prophet Elijah, etc., then it turns out that this “representative of a highly developed extraterrestrial civilization” has a tendency towards pyromania, and he has been “trampling around” in the Middle East for three thousand years, periodically forming the cloud then lights the fire. It is obvious that he is quite clearly aware of the limitations of the human system of perception (first attention), and therefore periodically gives such signals so that they do not forget about him, and “faith in him does not fade away”!

Well, thirdly, from the text of the Old Testament it is clear that clothing with protective properties and a sound alarm was in a single copy, and perhaps it was used before the destruction of the temple by the Romans, and the case of King Ptolemy Philopator and the priest Alcimus indicate that that the danger in the temple existed before the time of Jesus Christ.

“Then the All-Seeing God above all, the Holy One, having heard the prayer of humility, struck the arrogant one with violence and insolence, shaking him back and forth like a reed with the wind, so that he lay motionless on the platform, and being weakened by his limbs, he could not even give voices, comprehended righteous judgment"(3 Maccabees 9).

This event resembles the effects of electric shock, and occurred approximately one hundred years after the death of Alexander the Great.
The only item in the high priest's clothing that served as grounding could only be the belt. But it is unlikely that it was always tied so that it touched the ground. And if the same Uzzah, etc. were amazed electric shock in our usual understanding, then probably to all those struck by God would have been added a couple of careless high priests who tied the belt incorrectly or forgot it at home. Over such a long period of time, one can easily do something so stupid. But, in my opinion, the nature of the deadly “electricity” was different. Which one? Read on.
Modern electrical engineering defines electricity in three parameters - voltage, current and frequency. Each of these parameters can have a value from zero to infinity. So it turns out that it is also three-dimensional, like our “Euclidean” space. And if we add modulation here too?..
In connection with all of the above, it can be assumed that the nature of this deadly electricity (possibly radiation) can be designated as bioetheric, because there is a lot of unexpected, sometimes purposeful, and sometimes unpredictable in its behavior.

God, after the incident with the Golden Calf, informs Moses that it is not he himself who will lead them further, but his angel. Who is this angel? Why does a representative of extraterrestrial intelligence give his place to apparently his assistant - an angel? If you think about it, there is nothing surprising in this. It is possible that it was a group of 2 or more aliens. In the beginning, one of them entered into a relationship with Moses, and then for some reason he tells Moses that another will take his place. Or it is possible that the first one simply lost his nerves, or was isolated from people for a while.

“For you must not worship any god other than the Lord; because His name is “zealot”;
He is a jealous God" (Ex. 34:14)

The Hebrew word qin'ah and the Greek word zelos, both translated "zeal" in the Bible, mean "warmth" or "heat." Warmth and heat... Doesn't remind you of anything? Remember the smoke and fire that accompanied the Israelites during the campaign. Both words are used in both positive and negative contexts in the Bible to emphasize a positive or negative connotation of feelings.

Well, if there is jealousy, then that means there must be an object of this jealousy, thus the Bible itself confirms, in the person of God, the presence of other gods.
And note that God Jehovah considers those other gods to be either impostors or significantly inferior to him in power, because... even in the phrase about God’s jealousy, other gods are written with a small letter, but God “writes” his own title with a capital letter.

Consequently, several aliens, several species, claimed the Earth, which Jehovah called impostors, weak and jealous of them. He tried in every possible way to protect people from them.

The weight of gold used in the construction of the tabernacle is interesting:
“All the gold that was used for all the furnishings of the sanctuary was twenty-nine talents and seven hundred and thirty shekels, the shekels of the sanctuary” (Ex. 38:24)
Talent - a monetary unit and a measure of weight in ancient times, equal to 3000 shekels (36 kg)
A shekel is an ancient unit of weight equal to approximately 12 g.
These values are taken from the Bible Dictionary of V.P. Vikhlyantsev, and we will use them for calculations.
29 talents of gold = 1044 kilograms. A ton and a penny. Not bad, right?
730 shekels of gold = 8.76 kilograms.
In general, it turns out to be approximately one ton and 50 kilograms of gold... this is the scope...
Why was so much gold needed?

An interesting fact is that gold is constantly mentioned in different texts in the Bible:

Genesis 2:11
The name of one is Pison: it flows around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

Genesis 2:12
and the gold of that land is good; there is bdellium and onyx stone.

Genesis 24:35
The Lord greatly blessed my master, and he became great: He gave him sheep and oxen, silver and gold, male and female servants, camels and donkeys;

Exodus 35:5
make an offering of yourselves to the Lord: let each one bring an offering to the Lord according to his diligence, gold, silver, copper,

Exodus 35:22
and husbands and wives came, and everyone, according to the disposition of their hearts, brought rings, earrings, rings and pendants, all kinds of gold things, everyone who just wanted to bring gold to the Lord;

Exodus 39:3
and they beat the gold into sheets, and drew out the threads to thread them among the blue, the purple, the scarlet, and the fine linen, with cunning work.

Joshua 6:18
and all silver and gold, and vessels of copper and iron, shall be holy to the Lord, and shall enter into the treasury of the Lord.

3 Kings 7:51
Thus all the work that King Solomon did for the temple of the Lord was completed. And Solomon brought what was dedicated by David his father; He gave the silver and gold and things into the treasuries of the temple of the Lord.

Ezra 8:30
And the priests and Levites took the weighed silver and gold and vessels, to carry them to Jerusalem to the house of our God.

Even John the Theologian saw gold in his visions:

Revelation of John the Evangelist 21:18
Its wall was built of jasper, and the city was pure gold, like pure glass.

Revelation of John the Evangelist 21:21
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: each gate was made of one pearl. The city street is pure gold, like transparent glass.

The clothes, without which one could not enter the tabernacle, were covered with gold, and so was the tabernacle. If anyone entered the tabernacle without proper clothing, he would die. There is a warning verse about this in the Bible. Sometimes there were also malfunctions in the work of the tabernacle, and hundreds and thousands of people died due to strong radiation going beyond its limits.

So, after God gave Moses the 10 commandments and the basic laws, the latter went down to his people and told them everything. The Sons of Israel agreed to everything.
Then God again calls Moses to the mountain to give him detailed instructions regarding the construction and decoration of the sanctuary of God.

“Moses entered into the midst of the cloud, and went up to the mountain; and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights” (Ex. 24:18)

God gives him detailed instructions on how to make, and what to make of, the sanctuary itself - the tabernacle; for this purpose, Moses must collect an offering to God from his people - gold, silver, copper, blue, purple and scarlet wool, fine linen (the finest white fabric, very expensive, made of linen or cotton paper), and goat hair, and red mutton skins, and blue skins, and shittim wood (a flexible, but at the same time very hard tree, from the acacia species), oil for a lamp, onyx stone.
Moses also needed to make an ark to store the tablets and a table with a lamp.
All these things were made primarily from shittim wood overlaid with gold, with various carved decorations - golden cherubs on the ark, a golden crown on the table, golden decorations on the lamp in the form of apples and flowers.
All utensils also had to be made of gold - censers, bowls, mugs, lamps, tongs, etc.

The almighty God has some strange tastes, why make everything from the most expensive material of those days? God is omnipotent and omnipotent; in order to increase his “coolness,” he could order to make himself a “sanctuary” from, for example, platinum or meteorite iron. It is very doubtful exactly the divine will for such excessive decoration of the place of prayer and sacrifice.
The sanctuary itself also had to be, on the one hand, very beautiful, and on the other, incredibly expensive; the outer frame of the tabernacle was to be made of fine linen covers and blue, purple and scarlet wool, also decorated with cherubim.

The supporting beams must be made of shittim wood, overlaid with gold, with sockets of silver.
The altar must be made of shittim wood, hollow inside, and a net for it, and various utensils - pots for ashes, shovels, bowls, forks, etc. made of copper. Why did God need forks???

The courtyard of the tabernacle was also to be hung with hangings of fine linen and multicolored wool, and all the fittings of the tabernacle were made of copper.
God then appoints priests:

“Take to you Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may be priest to Me, Aaron and Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron” (Ex. 28:1)

And he orders sacred clothes to be made for them:

“These are the garments that they should make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a robe, a tunic, a turban, and a girdle” (Ex. 28:4)

Ephod - short robe
Chiton - long underwear,
Kidar is a head decoration.

All clothing had to be encrusted with gold and precious stones, and probably weigh a lot.
It was necessary to insert 12 precious stones into the breastplate, according to the number of the tribes of Israel - carbuncle, sapphire, diamond, topaz, ruby, emerald, yacht, agate, amethyst, chrysolite, onyx, jasper. All these stones must be inserted into golden sockets.

In conclusion, a few words about the fate of the tabernacle and its main element - the Ark of the Covenant with the tablets. After the end of the 40-year campaign in the promised land, the tabernacle fulfilled its role. The Ark of the Covenant was placed by King Solomon (965-926 BC) in the temple he built in Jerusalem. There he was in a special room, also called the Holy of Holies, until 597 BC. e., when Jerusalem was captured by the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar. But judging by one of the biblical texts, before the fall of the city, the Jewish shrine was securely hidden somewhere in the vicinity of Jerusalem:
“Jeremiah found a dwelling in a cave and brought there the tabernacle and the ark and the altar of incense, and blocked the entrance. When some of those accompanying him later came to notice the entrance, they could not find it” (Second Book of Maccabees, 2, 5-6).
Perhaps the ark is still in this secret cave.

Conclusion:

1. It was not the Creator who spoke to Moses, but a representative of an extraterrestrial civilization.

2. The Tabernacle is not some kind of temple, but a special device for connecting aliens with earthlings, in this case with Moses.

3. The Tabernacle was also a special research equipment with the help of which aliens explored our planet for 40 years. The goal is unknown to us.

4. The Tabernacle was dangerous for people's lives. Most likely due to some strong radiation or radiation. It was imperative to enter the tabernacle in protective clothing.

5. Due to interruptions in the work of the tabernacle, several tens of thousands of people died.

6. Moses sometimes used the tabernacle for his own purposes. Remember how he specially took Aaron and his wife inside the tabernacle at the most dangerous time for a person - when there was a cloud and smoke in it. His wife was greatly injured, and Aaron himself was greatly frightened. By this, Moses made it clear that only he had the exclusive right to communicate with God.

7. Research work went on for 40 years. During this time, the Israelis were completely isolated from the other world, that is, they developed in isolation and only as indicated to them by a representative of extraterrestrial intelligence. During this time, a change of two generations took place and the new generation was already very different from those Israelites who were brought out of Egypt. The new generation has developed a slave psychology.

8. Those who kept in touch with Moses also kept in touch with other people in different times. He did not show his face to Moses, and those who saw his face were very frightened. For example, Zechariah was very frightened. What was wrong with his face, how it affected people, we do not know.

This extraterrestrial civilization has constantly maintained contact with Earthlings for thousands of years, and for some reason with representatives of the same people and only in the vicinity of the Arabian Peninsula. This civilization constantly guided us and interfered in our lives. We don’t know what they want from us. But we haven’t seen anything good from them yet. The main result of their activities is the three world Abrahamic religions, and one of the goals is the creation of a slave psychology among earthlings. For some reason they need our enslavement and humility. It is possible that people were originally created for slave purposes and the creators do not want people to gain freedom. Or it is possible that God created people completely free, and this extraterrestrial intelligence decided to enslave us and is doing everything possible to do this. It’s not for nothing that they instilled in us that we are servants of God.

Interesting properties of the Ark

1. The Talmud says: “The place of the Ark has no dimensions.” In other words, the Ark did not occupy a physical place in the Holy of Holies. This is derived from the biblical description of the cherubim that King Solomon made in the Temple: each of their wings was 10 cubits, while the width of the entire Holy of Holies (Dvir) was 20 cubits - that is, in theory, there was no room left for the Ark itself .

2. The ark was transported from Kiri af-Jarim, on a new chariot. And on the way, the oxen bent him down a lot. And one of the Levites put out his hand to hold him. But the Lord was angry with him and struck him because he stretched out his hand to the ark; and he died that hour.

3. Another wonderful property of the Ark, according to legend, was that it “itself carried those who carried it.” In other words, despite the fact that the Ark was supposed to be very heavy, it not only did not burden those who carried it, but also carried them themselves.

4. It was also believed that along the route of the Ark, the hills were leveled to the ground.

When the Philistines placed the Ark on a cart with cows harnessed to it, they themselves took the exact direction to Beth-shemesh (Beth-Shemesh).

Something interesting about the ark.

Solomon, the last of the officially known guardians of the Ark, spent a long time alone with it and after that became distinguished by increased wisdom. The Ark carried itself, it was a source of deadly ordinary people radiation, it could be used to move giant stones, etc.

As noted above, the tabernacle and the ark were a single complex for communicating with aliens, who presented themselves as gods. Communication took place in the meter range of radio waves, but with ultra-frequency modulation. It was from microwaves that people died.
Where did the energy come from? Where did Nikola Tesla get it for his car, which drove for a month without refueling? The space is teeming with the so-called. free energy. And the Ark was, after all, a machine for extracting and accumulating it.

A little about Yahweh. Let us remember that Yahweh was gone for almost half a millennium. During those 430 years of Egyptian captivity of the Jews, he did not show his nose... Where was he?

But all the same, Yahweh came in the rays of Glory, that is, in bright light so that it was impossible to see anything. And by his own admission, he was not physically on Earth at that time. But he accepted meat and gold as sacrifices very regularly... Hence another property of the Ark - an extradimensional transmitter of matter...

Now about atomic gold. When Moses descended from Sinai for the first time, he discovered that idolatry had revived among the Jews. What did he do with the golden calf? Burned it! It seems incredible that you can burn gold. But Moshe is not stupid... He knew a couple of secrets...

Now it is believed that Moses transformed the ordinary gold of the altar into atomic gold, also known as colloidal gold.
In the alchemical tradition, it is called the Philosopher's Stone, because it gives vigor, many years and can modify metals into itself... It also interacts quite unusually with the gravitational field. The philosopher's stone is sometimes immeasurably heavy, sometimes lighter than air. This may explain how the Ark carried those who carried it.

Actually, if you look completely down to the core, then the basis of knowledge, the embodiment of which was the Ark, is still alien. So Moses had a very multifunctional box, the only drawback of which was that it charged almost instantly and therefore it was deadly to approach it without grounding.

Now let's see what history says about this, where this very ark might be now.

History has traced all the movements of the Ark to approximately 600 BC. And then he disappeared. When Nebuchadnezzar's troops took and plundered Jerusalem in 587 BC, the Ark was not among the spoils. It is possible that, not wanting to risk the shrine on which Jewish civilization was involved, it was secretly transported somewhere in advance and hidden.

According to some sources, the Ark was taken to Ethiopia, which is brilliantly proven by Graham Hancock in his book “The Ark of the Covenant.” It describes many historical facts confirming that the Ark is located in Ethiopia.

Another artifact seeker, American Ron Wyatt, told the world that he found the shrine on January 6, 1982. After 4 years of excavations, driven by sheer enthusiasm, Ron managed to find: 1. The site of the crucifixion. 2. Tomb of Christ with a round stone. 3. The Ark itself.
The loss was found in a cave under Golgotha, exactly under the place where Christ was crucified. Moreover, from the place of execution to the cave where the Ark and some other artifacts were hidden, a vertical crack passes and the blood of the Savior, flowing down the walls of the crack, reached the lid of the Ark and sprinkled it. Thus, Jesus can rightfully be considered sacrificed for the sins of mankind. But despite all this, the ritual is not finished. In the tabernacle (the place where the Ark of the Covenant was kept), the Israelites sacrificed lambs for their sins.
The person’s sins were removed, but remained “for safekeeping” in the tabernacle. Once a year, the high priest performed a ritual of cleansing the tabernacle from filth: they slaughtered one goat as a sacrifice, the other was named a “scapegoat”, he became the incarnation of Satan and the annual “harvest” of sins was transferred to him. The animal was driven into the desert, where it died, symbolizing the death of the Tempter. Only after this was it believed that purification had occurred.

Ron, wanting to finally make sure that he had found the blood of Christ, scraped off a little black substance from the ark and sent it to a genetic laboratory for analysis. The substance, as it turned out, contains 24 chromosomes instead of 46. To the maternal set of 23 chromosomes, another one was inexplicably added - the Y chromosome, thanks to which the Savior was born, and not the Savior.

Ron, unlike the biblical unfortunate Oz, who died barely touching the ark, was luckier: after his discovery, he lived until 1999 and died of cancer.

According to the Torah, even one glance at the Ark could lead to illness and painful death. Ron even took photographs of the Ark. And for this, the casket had to be removed from the sarcophagus where it was stored. The idea, however, didn’t make much sense. All that was left in the pictures were blurry yellow spots! The careless American claimed that he opened the lid of the Ark and held in his hands the very Tablets of the Covenant.

There is a widespread version among historians and Egyptologists that Moses took the idea of the ark and angels from the Egyptians. Thus, according to numerous documented data, during the procession the priests of Heliopolis and Thebes carried caskets containing religious objects. And these caskets overshadowed the figures of the patron spirits with their wings. Moses and the Egyptian priests also made other borrowings. In particular, the costume of the Israeli high priest was an exact copy of the clothing of the Egyptian priests. Thanks to the bells sewn to the hem of the robe, every movement was accompanied by a ringing sound.

This version of Egyptologists can be accepted, but distinctive feature the Tabernacle was that it was dangerous for people. If we accept the version of Egyptologists, then we can continue it a little. For example, it is quite possible that the Egyptians were also given ideas by that same alien, which is why we see such similarities.

Subsequently, these borrowings passed from the Jews to the Arabs. To this day, in the Syrian desert you can find a camel carrying a small sacred tent and casket on its ridge. In Arabic, it is called the Markab, or Ark of Ishmael.

Ark of the Covenant in Christianity.

The Church Slavonic Bible uses the Greek word "ark" for the Ark of the Covenant to, as in the original text, distinguish it from Noah's Ark (as well as the ark-basket in which the baby Moses was placed).

In the Christian tradition, the Ark of the Covenant, like other sacred objects of the Jerusalem Temple, is understood as a prototype of an element of the Christian temple - the Icon or Tabernacle.

Just as the Ark was located in the Holy of Holies of the Temple and the Tablets of the Covenant were kept in it, so the Tabernacle is located in the altar of a Christian church with the Holy Gifts, the Body and Blood of Christ contained in it, forming the New Testament of man with God.

Ark of the Covenant in Islam.

  • In Islam, the youngest of the world's religions, the idea of the origin of the Ark of the Covenant and its meaning is almost identical to the biblical one, although it introduces its own specifics.
  • According to the Koran, the Ark also contained the stone Tablets of the Covenant, the rod of the prophet Moses (Musa), and the rod and miter of the prophet Aaron (Harun).
  • The Ark of the Covenant in Islam is also called “Tabut Sakina” (Repository of Grace), and in some translations it is called a coffin.
  • The Koran contains a brief history of the loss of the Ark by the people of Israel as a result of wars.
  • According to legend, Islam also agrees with the biblical events of the discovery of the Ark first by Saul (Talut), then by David (Daud), and its installation by Solomon (Suleiman) in the Temple he built.
  • In the Koran, the Ark of the Covenant is mentioned in the words of the prophet identified with Samuel:

“And their prophet said to them: “As a sign of its destiny for you, the Ark (of the Covenant) will appear, in which you will receive from your Lord sakina (grace and peace) and what remains of the descendants of Musa and Harun; and the angels will bring it to you. And if you believe, then indeed there is a sign for you in this.” Quran 2:248

In the story of Saul (Talut) and David (Daud), the Ark returned miraculously, indicating Allah's election of Saul as king of Israel. Spiritual interpretations of this hadith say that when all people accept the Quran, the return of the Ark will indicate that the last times have come, it will be a sign of the proximity of the coming of the Mahdi.

Reference: Mahdi (Arabic: “led [on the path of Allah]”) is the herald of the imminent end of the world, the last successor of the Prophet Muhammad, a kind of messiah. The Koran does not mention the Mahdi, but the idea of the messiah is widely interpreted in hadith. Until that time, the Ark was hidden, according to hadiths, in the city of Antakya (modern Turkey), where the Essenes allegedly could have brought it.

“He will be called Mahdi, for he will show the way to what is hidden.

He will discover the Tabut (Ark of the Covenant) in a place called Antakya." - Suyuti, el-Havi li'l Feteva, II. 82

“The Mahdi will send an army to fight the Rum. His knowledge of fiqh is equal to the knowledge of ten ulama. He will discover the Tabut of Sakina in a cave in Antakya."

I wonder where Antakya is? There are many similar questions, only one thing is known.. they are looking for this ark.. and they are looking for it persistently.. the pursuit of the ark is somewhat reminiscent of the pursuit of the galaxy in “Men in Black”.. everyone needs it, but for what purposes - you don’t understand.. Maybe in order to communicate with extraterrestrial intelligence?

Imagine a hot desert, sweat, dust, dirt, scorching sun... Perhaps your life is also somewhat reminiscent of a desert. Now imagine a large tabernacle covered with many layers of animal skins. There was always silence and coolness inside, but this was not the most amazing thing - the tabernacle had a special compartment called the Holy of Holies. God lived there...

Later, the camp tabernacle turned into the most majestic temple - the Temple of Solomon. The structure of the temple and the tabernacle were the same. In the New Testament, a believer is called the temple of God (1 Cor. 3:16-17). That's why the tabernacle can be considered as an image of the inner world of a believer, and also as an image of entering into the worship of God living in his regenerated spirit. There are other approaches to the symbolic interpretation of the structure of the tabernacle, but we will not consider them here.

Worship of God plays a vital role in the salvation of man. The Savior said this when answering the question about the greatest commandment: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind: this is the first and greatest commandment; the second is similar to it: love your neighbor as yourself; On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets” (Matt. 22:37-40). Loving your neighbor as yourself is a paradoxical commandment. An honest person immediately understands that it is absolutely unattainable. People are not capable of living like this. For this you need a different heart, a heart like God Himself.

Therefore, the Lord gave us the first commandment to love God with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind. How to bring it to life? First of all, in prayer. Actually, the main purpose of prayer is precisely to worship God. If we devote most of our prayers to the worship of God - thanksgiving, praise, glorification, then a lot will begin to happen almost automatically - “by itself,” and most importantly, we ourselves, our souls, will change. Then you can proceed to the second part of the commandment - to love your neighbor.

The Lord loves us with unconditional love, but the lover desires reciprocal love. So the Lord expects from us an expression of love. Of course, love for God should be manifested not only in prayers. Our obedience to the Word, especially in situations where we do not want to obey, is the clearest manifestation of love: “If you love Me, keep My commandments”(John 14:15).

But let us return to the tabernacle, which is very edifying to consider as a way of worshiping God. The Tabernacle is filled with the most profound images that can inspire us to deeply worship the Lord in the depths of our hearts. For me, studying the Tabernacle is a powerful source of intellectual and spiritual inspiration. I hope the following summary will be a blessing to you.

The picture shows that the tabernacle was tripartite and divided into the outer court, the Sanctuary and the Holy of Holies. The outer court symbolized the human body, the Sanctuary symbolized the soul, and the Holy of Holies symbolized the human spirit.

Rice. Plan of the Tabernacle of Moses. 19th century illustration.

The tabernacle was covered with animal skins, which were fastened with gold hooks. In this you can see the image of the human body, which exists according to laws determined by God. Gold, as a royal metal, often symbolizes the actions of God and His laws, operating both in the spiritual world and in the physical.

When a man looked at the tabernacle from the outside, he saw only a tent covered with blue skins on top. The size of the tabernacle was relatively small. Under the blue skins there were other ram skins, already red, then covers made of goat's hair, and then decorated with light linen. In the four elements of the covering of the tabernacle one can see the main components of the spiritual anatomy of man. Blue skins indicate the physical body of a person, which can only be seen if one looks at it with physical eyes. Underneath them are red skins of ram, which indicate the human soul, about which it is said, “The life of the body is in the blood” (Lev. 17:11). The red color also directs thought to the truth about the only way to save the soul - through the Blood of Jesus Christ. Even further, there are blankets made of goat hair, which symbolize the fallen sinful nature of man, his flesh. Interestingly, there were eleven large goat blankets (Ex. 26:7). Perhaps this indicates eleven main components of the carnal nature of man (the most obvious are selfishness, laziness, pride, lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, love of money, greed, etc.). It is clear that in the carnal nature of each individual person, this or that “veil” can be of different “sizes”.

Finally, in the very depths is the most beautiful and subtle part of the covering - ten curtains of twisted linen and colored wool (Ex. 26:1), decorated with images of cherubim. Twisted linen was used in those days to make the clothes of kings and priests. These veils indicate the human spirit, which has direct communication with the angelic world and God Himself. The number of veils - ten - may indicate the complexity of the most intimate part of a person - his spirit.

Thus, the covering of the tabernacle has deep symbolic meaning. In this regard, we can recall the following text from Scripture: “Therefore we do not lose heart; but if our outer man is decaying, then our inner man is being renewed day by day. For our momentary light affliction produces eternal glory in an exceeding abundance, when we look not at what is seen, but at what is unseen: for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal” (2 Cor. 4:16-18). The decay of the outer man is called short-lived and light suffering. Eternal glory appears in abundance when we look not at the visible world around us, but at the invisible one, which is precisely the real and eternal world. It all depends on what we pay our attention to. When a person's soul is occupied with glorifying God and spiritual reflections on God's Word, she rises to the world of spirit. Vanity, carnal passions and desires of the world pull her back. We make the choice.

The tabernacle had gates, about which we read in the Psalms: “Enter His gates with thanksgiving, into His courts with praise. Glorify Him, bless His name, for the Lord is good: His mercy endures forever, and His truth endures forever” (Ps. 99:4,5). We begin the path of worship to the God who lives in our regenerated spirit with doxology (thanksgiving) and praise. We always have a reason to thank God because He is good and we always have a reason to praise Him because He is merciful and true!

The gate was supported by four bars made of shittim wood, which can be associated with the four elements (water, earth, air and fire), which the human physical body mainly had to deal with. According to the ideas of ancient people, the entire material world consisted of these elements. The shittim tree is a hard, rotting acacia tree, the wood of which symbolized the inviolability of God's laws on which the universe rests. “...For with the Lordfoundations of the earth, and He built the world on them."(1 Samuel 2:8). The same spiritual and physical laws that govern planet Earth operate throughout the entire universe.

In the outer court there were two objects - a brass altar where animal sacrifices were made and a brass laver where the priests who were required to officiate in the Sanctuary were ritually washed. Brass in Scripture symbolizes judgment.

If only gold was used in the decoration of the Holy of Holies and the sanctuary, then in the outer court mainly copper and silver were used (Ex. 27: 10-11, 19). The spiritual world is a higher world in relation to matter, just as gold is incomparably more expensive and valuable than copper. However, the hooks for the outer covering of the tabernacle were made of gold, which indicates the invisible participation of God and His Word in everything that happens in the material world. The fact that gold was used to decorate not only the Holy of Holies, but also the sanctuary, which represents the soul of man, suggests that it is God's will that the soul be "clothed with the inner man"(Col. 3:10), was under complete subjugation of the spirit. In this case, she figuratively “dresses herself in gold.”

We return to the brass altar. Through animal sacrifices, people condemned their sins and covered them up. The altar, of course, refers to the perfect sacrifice that the Lord Jesus made for us. It is impossible to approach God in any other way than by faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. After thanksgiving and praise, we invoke the Blood of Christ and proclaim the faith that through the precious Blood we are redeemed, forgiven, justified, sanctified, pardoned, and have victory over the powers of Satan: “Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter into the sanctuary through the blood of Jesus Christ , a new and living way... let us approach with a sincere heart in full faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with clean water” (Heb. 10:19-22).

The brazen altar is also the place where we remember our sacrifices to God. physical strength and the body itself. The apostle begs us about this: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [for] your reasonable service” (Rom. 12:1).

Next, it was necessary to go through purification in a copper washbasin. The Apostle John speaks about the boldness with which we can come to God: “Beloved! If our heart does not condemn us, then we have boldness towards God.”(1 John 3:21). Here the heart should be understood as conscience. If we have a good conscience, then we have the boldness to further approach God; what should we do if this is not the case, if our words differ from our deeds. In the same letter we find the answer: “If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He, being faithful and righteous, will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:7-9). Sin is not so terrible as it is not to live in the light. After all, if we confess our sins without hiding or obscuring them, then the Lord makes two specific promises: (1) to forgive us, (2) to restore our righteousness through faith in Christ.

The brass laver also indicates the need not only to receive, but also to give forgiveness: “And when you stand in prayer, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your heavenly Father may also forgive you your sins. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive you your trespasses” (Mark 11:25,26).

Then begins the second part of the tabernacle, called the Sanctuary and symbolizing the human soul. Access to inner part In the Old Testament, only priests had tabernacles. By the grace of God today we are all part of the royal priesthood. The entrance to the holy place was supported by five pillars. It seems to me that they indicate the five senses through which the soul receives information from the body. Another interpretation is to compare the pillars with the five Hebrew letters that spell out the word God (“Elohim”) in Hebrew.

This part of the tabernacle contained three items: the golden seven-branched candlestick, the table of showbread, and the golden altar of incense. The symbolism of the Sanctuary indicates the complete dedication of a believer’s soul to God.

The seven-branched candlestick (menorah) symbolizes the human mind renewed by the Word of God. The menorah had 22 lamps, which had to be cleaned daily and then lit. Derek Prince has suggested that the mind may have 22 activities, each of which must be enlightened by the Word. The number 22 has another special meaning in the symbolism of Holy Scripture. The fact is that in ancient Hebrew, as in modern Hebrew, the alphabet consists of 22 letters. Thus, the number of menorah lamps exactly correlates with the letters of the alphabet, from which any word, any concept, or expression of any truth can be composed. This fact gives even greater depth to the comparison of the seven-branched candlestick with the mind of a believer.

The priests added fresh oil to the lamp daily. This image reminds us of the enormous importance of what we feed our minds with. The person will behave according to his thoughts. Defeats, like victories, begin with thoughts. God's Word enlightens the mind and gives it the ability to evaluate everything that happens in the right light: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”(Ps. 119:105). The psalmist speaks about the connection between the mind and God's Word: “The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord; All who do [His Word] have a right mind.”(Ps. 110:10).

There is a separate command about oil: “And command the children of Israel that they should bring you pure oil, beaten from olive trees, for light, so that the lamp may burn at all times” (Ex. 27:20). Oil was extracted from oilseeds. At the same time, the skins and pits of the olives were thrown away, and only clean ones were taken. olive oil. Our thinking is very heterogeneous. We have spiritual thoughts, but often we think according to the flesh or in terms of this world. All this can be figuratively compared to peel and bones, which are in no way suitable for the seven-branched candlestick. You can't overload your mind with everything. The oil must be “knocked out” - carnal, earthly, and even more so sinful thoughts must be eliminated. In this regard, I remember the following words of the Savior: “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation: the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak”(Matt. 26:41). Before prayer, we must learn to stay awake and not let carnal thoughts enter our minds. In other words, the oil for the lamp must be carefully prepared—clean and “beaten.”

The priests had to add pure oil to the lamp daily. So it is our daily responsibility to fill our minds with the grace of the Spirit and the truth of the Word. The lamp had to be cleaned of carbon deposits daily by adjusting and cleaning the wicks. It was necessary to add fresh oil, as we have already discussed, and also to light the fire.

Fire is one of the biblical images of the Holy Spirit (see Acts 2). The actions of the Holy Spirit are indicated by the material of the seven-branched candlestick (pure gold), as well as the number of its branches. They are usually associated with the seven gifts or manifestations of the Spirit, about which the prophet Isaiah speaks: “And a branch shall come forth from the root of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his root; and the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and godliness (another translation - the fear of God A.B.)” (Is. 11: 1,2). The Spirit of the Lord can be represented by the central branch of the menorah, and His grace-filled gifts to the human mind by the other six branches.

Without the Holy Spirit, we are unable to understand Scripture and live a life pleasing to God (see Proverbs 3:5-8). Without the grace of the Spirit, our wisdom will only be earthly and spiritual. But when the mind of a believer is tuned to God, wisdom from above flows into him: “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, obedient, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and without hypocrisy” (James 3:17 ). We should burn for God, igniting our minds with this holy fire, and thus fulfill His will on earth. All this is more than just mental knowledge - it is Spirit and fire!

On the right side of the sanctuary there was a table overlaid with gold with the showbread. Bread indicated the dedication of a person's will and time to God, since the flour from which bread is baked consists of tiny particles of flour, just as time consists of seconds, minutes and hours.

Bread is also a common symbol of God's Word. Let's remember the famous: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God”(Matt. 4:4), where the Lord quoted the text from Deuteronomy 8:3. The word for the spirit is like bread for the body, and the process of spiritual reflection can be compared to carefully chewing bread in order to receive from it greatest benefit and pleasure...

Reflection should not be merely a speculative exercise. It ends with a person beginning to embody the Word in his daily life, and this already requires an effort of will.

A person’s will should not independently guide his decisions, but be subordinate to the spirit. Will is a good performer, but a bad leader. The righteous of all times knew this truth. This is how David describes the blessed righteous man : “But his will is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night!”(Ps. 1:2).

The Lord Jesus Calls for Complete Commitment to Him and His Word : “If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples”(John 8:31). And again: “If anyone wants to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross every day and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his soul will destroy it; Whoever loses his life for My sake will save it” (Luke 9:23-24, Cass.). The path of salvation is the path of irrevocable dedication.

Every Saturday, the priests carefully placed fresh loaves of bread in two rows, or rather “columns,” with six loaves in each column. We can say that the Lord inspected the condition of the loaves and even their position, because God does not have the slightest carelessness or inattention. This indicates the importance of accuracy and attention to detail.

The twelve loaves indicate certain values to which a person needs to devote himself again and again so that the choice becomes unshakably firm. The bread was divided into two parts, which may prophetically point to the Greatest Commandment given to us by the Lord: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind: this is the first and greatest commandment; the second is similar to it: love your neighbor as yourself; On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets” (Matt. 22:37-40). Thus, according to the Lord's plan, all our decisions and actions should express love for God, as well as love for people. The six loaves of love for the Lord can correspond to decisions regarding studying the Word of God, communing with God in prayer, fasting, church life, serving God, and giving to God. Other breads can symbolize service to people in the workplace or at school, service to children, service to a spouse and parents, service to relatives, friends, special services to God and people.

As already noted, the breads indicate the distribution of time. If we make decisions but don't take the time to implement them, decisions will become bubbles. Therefore, the priests put in twelve full-sized loaves. Each decision is confirmed at a certain time and put into practice.

The Sabbath is a day of rest, worship and spiritual reflection. Today, most Christians gather for worship and fellowship on Sunday. Thus, each service should remind believers of the dedication already made and call on those who have not yet dedicated all areas of their lives to God. Therefore, the church regularly encourages us to bring to the Lord all our capabilities, abilities and gifts, and if necessary, life itself.

The Apostle Peter passionately calls us: “Therefore, brethren, be diligent more and more to make sure your calling and election; If you do this, you will never stumble, for in this way free entry into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be opened for you” (2 Peter 1:10,11). If we make our choice to live according to the spirit and the highest title of children of God firm, then the falls will stop naturally. A person who has made a quality dedication of his life to Almighty God cannot fall.

The priests were to place clean frankincense on each row of loaves (Lev. 24:7). Lebanon (from the word "white") is a white, fragrant tree resin that we call incense. Frankincense was burned daily in the tabernacle as a pleasant aroma and indicated the “fragrant” life that a believer should lead. Every decision made by a believer must serve the will of God. As it is written: “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God the Father through Him” (Col. 3:17). When a Christian submits his will to the spirit, he manifests on earth "the fragrance of Christ"(2 Cor. 2:15).

The table was made of shittim wood covered with gold and had a crown around the entire edge so that nothing from the table would fall onto the floor. Every decision we make must be implemented. Nothing should remain at the level of “good intentions.”

Finally, the golden altar of incense typically points to the bright emotions of awe, joy and peace that the human soul always experiences as it approaches the greatest mystery, which is located in the Holy of Holies behind the final veil.

Only a special composition of incense was to be burned on the golden altar: “The Lord commanded Moses: “Take the aromatic substances - nata?f, shehe?let and galban, half and half with pure incense - and make from them incense for incense - a skillfully prepared composition , seasoned with salt, pure, holy” (Ex. 30:34,35 RBO).

Dmitry Shchedrovitsky writes that in the original, “fragrant substances” means some special incense, and not a generalization of the names of four substances, as in the Russian translation. That is, the Lord told Moses that the incense should have included five substances. This may indicate positive emotions experienced by a person in God's presence (awe, joy, peace, admiration).

It is also interesting that all of these substances are of plant origin, except for shehelet. Shehelet was extracted from ancient fossilized shells, which may be an indication of the “stone” part of the human emotional sphere. It is known that ordinary person There are five most destructive emotions. These are anxiety, fear, anger, disappointment, guilt and shame.

Research shows that Christians who were previously addicted to alcohol or drugs are at particular risk due to their lack of control over their negative emotions. These emotions lead them to an old, unwanted, but tried and tested method of “stress relief” - a drug.

Fossils were first crushed, “ground to dust,” and then burned. The burning of the shehelet symbolically indicates the opportunity to calm down any negative emotion in the presence of God and, even more than that, to replace it with a positive one. First of all, experience joy and peace, as it is written: “Rejoice always, because you live in unity with the Lord! And again I say: rejoice!”(Phil. 4:4 ESV) and “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” ( Phil.4:6,7). Personally, I believe that the incense that is burned on the golden altar and also placed on the showbread symbolizes pure spiritual joy.

The entire sanctuary was to be constantly filled with the aroma of incense burned on the altar. This reminds us that every Christian must continually live in a special spiritual state before the Lord. Holy Scripture calls this state the Kingdom of God, which is within us (Luke 17:21). The Apostle writes: “For the kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”(Rom. 14:18). The Kingdom of God is within, in the Holy Place. It is not connected with the material world (food or drink). The kingdom is based on righteousness as a right relationship with God, who has adopted us forever through faith in Christ. The consequence of this relationship is two positive emotions - peace and joy. In fact, the presence of peace and joy in the heart is an indicator of the proper state of a Christian. We are called a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:11) and just as the priests were required to constantly burn incense, so we are responsible to continue in righteousness, peace and joy. To do this, it is very important to learn how to immediately return to a state of inner harmony.

The easiest way to enter into peace and joy is to go further into the Holy of Holies, because nothing disturbs the harmony there, the Spirit of God reigns undivided there. In the Old Testament, people did not have the privilege of entering the Holy of Holies except the high priest once a year, but we have a qualitatively better covenant and qualitatively better promises! The way to the most holy place is open today to every true believer: “Therefore, brothers, having confidence to enter into the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which He again revealed to us through the veil, that is, His flesh” (Heb. 10:20,21 ).

It is very important to remember on what basis we enter the sanctuary. If based on our deeds (prayers, fasts, donations, etc.), then the path will be closed. There is only one basis - faith in what the Lord did on the Cross, faith in the power of His Blood and nothing more! I remember when I was immature in spirit, I was often surprised that God’s presence came when I felt completely unworthy and did not come when I, in self-righteousness, thought that I had “earned” something through fasting, prayer, and religious deeds. A new and living path is open only by faith and only through the Blood of Christ! This does not mean that prayers and good deeds are not needed at all. They are a consequence of the fact that I have a close filial relationship with God, but not the basis of this relationship. The only reason is what the Savior did for me!

We not only begin the path to God by grace, but we also move throughout our lives by grace. In our own strength we are not able to fulfill God's commandments. Only a new spiritual person can do this. The prophets of the Old Testament already foresaw this truth: “I will flow in the way of Your commandments when You enlarge my heart.”(Ps. 119:32). First, the Lord expands, revives, transforms the spiritual nature by His grace, and only then by grace am I able to fulfill His commandments, the essence of which is “agape” love.

The Holy of Holies typifies the spirit of man. There was no artificial lighting. However, there was light - otherwise the high priest could not perform his ministry. The light came from God's manifest presence. So in the spirit of man there is an imperishable lamp: “The lamp of the Lord is the spirit of man, searching all the depths of the heart.”(Prov. 20:27).

It was possible to enter the most secret place of the tabernacle only through the last curtain, fixed on four pillars. The number of pillars indicates the most intimate thing - the enduring presence of God. God's personal name, possibly Yahweh, is written using four Hebrew letters. Since its exact sound is lost, it is also called Tetragramaton (Latin for “four letters”). The number four also corresponds to the four aspects of the Savior’s ministry to us, named in 1 Cor. 1:30 : “From him you are also in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption" The Lord is our (1) wisdom from God, (2) righteousness, (3) sanctification, and (4) redemption. Finally, if we remember that the spirit of man is reborn through the incorruptible Word of the Gospel, then it would be wise to connect the four pillars with the four Gospels.

In the Holy of Holies was the ark of the covenant, overlaid with pure gold. The lid of the ark in the Slavic translation was called “purification.” The high priest sprinkled the blood of animals on this lid. In Romans, Christ is called “the purifier” (Rom. 3:25) because He is present in the spirit of every regenerate person through the Holy Spirit. It is Christ that we invite into our hearts as the Savior, and then He becomes our eternal “purification.”

Above the lid were golden sculptures of two cherubs, facing each other, as well as the lid of the ark. The cherubs overshadowed the ark with their wings. When the first people sinned, the Lord appointed the cherubim to guard the Garden of Eden so that people could not return there. But here the cherubim no longer hinder, but protect, overshadowing the spiritual nature of the reborn person with wings.

Why were there two cherubim in the Holy of Holies? Firstly, there were two tablets. One spoke about love for God, the other about love for one’s neighbor. The cherubim continuously looked at the tablets through the lid and loved God and each other with perfect love.

There is another very beautiful and deep interpretation. Cherub is one of the highest angelic ranks. Each of them is great and supremely powerful. The prophet Ezekiel described one cherub: “You were an anointed cherub to overshadow, and I appointed you to do so; you were on the holy mountain of God, walking among the fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, until iniquity was found in you” (Ezek. 28:14,15). This powerful angelic being became proud and fell from heaven to earth (Ezek. 28:13-18). Today we know this cherub as the devil or Satan. Pride is born when a person or angel begins to pay too much attention to himself and his gifts and talents. The cherubim above the mercy seat are facing each other. This means that they see first of all not themselves, but others. Their attention is captured by the beauty and greatness of the other angel, so they are not in danger of becoming proud. Likewise, we must constantly direct our inner gaze to the Lord Jesus and the infinite perfection of His image, so as not to fall victim to pride.

The ark contained the tablets of the covenant, a jar of manna, and Aaron's rod that blossomed. The tablets of the covenant indicated the content of the regenerated spirit: its righteousness and holiness, wisdom and spiritual intelligence, the fruits of the spirit, the most important of which is agape love.

Prophecies about the content of the regenerated spirit were written down several centuries before the coming of the Savior: “This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their minds, and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they will be My people. And every man shall not teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord; for everyone, from the least of them to the greatest, will know Me, because I will be merciful to their iniquities, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more” (Heb. 8:10-12).

God promised to put His laws into the regenerated spirit of man. In this regard, it is appropriate to recall a most amazing fact. The Ten Commandments, written on two tablets, contained 613 letters. Exactly the same number of commandments – 613 – contains the Law of the Old Testament! This means that each letter on the tablets spoke of a specific commandment... Only God’s wisdom is capable of this. Truly “O depth of wealth and wisdom and knowledge of God! How incomprehensible are His judgments and unsearchable are His ways!”(Rom. 11:35 CASS). Each of God's commandments already written in the spirit of a born-again Christian!

Manna was a type of feeding on God's Word. The vessel with manna in the ark of the covenant is an indication of that incorruptible Word with which the miracle of the new birth began: “as being born again, not from corruptible seed, but from incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.”(1 Peter 1:23). Also, the manna was incorruptible, which indicates the eternal life that already exists in the regenerated spirit: “This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.”(John 17:3).

Finally, the blossoming rod is a symbol of resurrection and power. The rod pointed to the completion of man's salvation - the resurrection of his mortal body for incorruptible and unfading life. It also symbolized the authority and power that is in the spirit of every born-again believer. We have been given power over the earth (Gen. 1 ch.) and, first of all, over that piece of “dust of the earth” that makes up our physical body. We must learn to exercise authority in the spirit over illnesses, curses and demons that can attack our bodies and souls.

Thus the plan of the tabernacle is the plan of real worship, where man gradually passes through the gates of thanksgiving and praise, through the Blood of Christ, through the cleansing of confession. Then he goes deeper and begins to be filled with the Holy Spirit through “drinking” living water and reasoning with the Word. He devotes himself, his will and time to the Lord. Joy of spirit, joy and harmony eternal life erupts from within as a prayer of praise and worship. The believer is now ready for deep worship in spirit.

The very word “worship” is washed out and worn out. It often refers to the musical portion of a worship service, or even as part of that portion when slow hymns (called “worship songs”) are sung. Real worship begins only in the Holy of Holies, only in the spirit. The Lord Jesus said unequivocally about this: “The time will come and has already come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is looking for such worshipers for Himself. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23,24). What happens behind the veil of the Holy of Holies is always a mystery that cannot be adequately expressed in our language. We can only say that communication begins with the Spirit of God, Who lives in our spirit. Communication implies a certain dialogue. The result of worship is almost always a specific Word, which is why the Lord said: “ true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth.” The Word of God is truth.

We find a striking example in the book of the prophet Isaiah, who described a unique experience of worship (however, worship is always unique): “In the year of the death of King Uzziah, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of His robe filled the whole temple. The Seraphim stood around Him; each of them had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And they called to each other and said: Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of hosts! the whole earth is full of His glory! And the tops of the gates shook at the voice of those shouting, and the house was filled with incense. And I said: Woe is me! I'm dead! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people also of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. Then one of the Seraphim flew to me, and in his hand he had a burning coal, which he took with tongs from the altar, and touched my mouth and said: behold, this has touched your mouth, and your iniquity is taken away from you, and your sin is cleansed. And I heard the voice of the Lord saying: Whom shall I send? and who will go for Us? And I said: here I am, send me. And He said, “Go and tell this people, ‘You will hear with your ears and not understand, and with your eyes you will see and not see’” (Isaiah 6:1-9).

There is a lot that can be learned from this text. For example, the description of the celestial beings called Seraphim is very interesting. These are creatures with six wings. Renowned Bible teacher Derek Prince noted that four (two-thirds) of these were used for worship. Indeed, covering the feet and face are images of worship. Two wings (one third) were used for action or, one might say, service. What conclusion can be drawn from this observation? If the heavenly proportion of the ratio of worship and service is two to one, then the earthly one should be the same... Indeed, how much incomparably richer our life and service would be if we devoted twice as much time and effort to worshiping God as not serving...

The prophet’s amazing experience ended with Isaiah hearing the voice of the Lord: “ who should I send? and who will go for Us? and responded with faith and obedience: “ Here I am, send me.” Someone has said that worship begins with holy expectation but ends with holy obedience—this is a spiritual principle. This is how it was with the prophet Isaiah, this is how it always happens. On the Mount of Transfiguration, Christ's disciples experienced a special experience of worship. It was so good for them that they wanted to make tabernacles and stay forever on this mountain (Matt. 17:4), but the special action of the Holy Spirit ended and the Lord led them down, where ministry to the demon-possessed, the sick and the lost awaited them.

The Apostle James expressed the result of worship this way: “Pure and undefiled godliness before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unspotted from the world” (James 1:27). The Greek word "treskeia" is usually translated as worship, but in this text as piety. So, the result of pure and immaculate worship is that believers begin to cover the needs of orphans and widows and keep themselves from being polluted by the world. Why are we talking specifically about orphans and widows? In the social conditions of the first century, there was no social welfare system for them, so the Spirit of God called His worshipers to minister to their needs. Today, too, the Lord calls many to serve this category of disadvantaged people, although, of course, not everyone is called to serve only orphans and widows. James emphasizes the general principle that as a result of worship (the purpose of worship is precisely the worship of God in spirit), we hear the call of God's truth (the word of God is truth) to serve the specific needs of specific people and devote ourselves to doing the will of God. By doing this, we also keep ourselves from this world. Here, as in the text of 2 Pet. discussed above. 1:4, the positive part is more important than the negative part. When we focus on doing God's will, the soul naturally draws closer to the spirit and thereby becomes sanctified. On the contrary, if all the efforts of a believer are directed only at not sinning, he will sin sooner...

So service flows out of worship, not as a substitute for it. Worship ends with hearing the voice of God and dedication—holy obedience—readiness to serve the needs of the people with the strength the Lord provides. Worship Begins with Holy Waiting and Ends with Holy Obedience.

I want to end with a prayer: “Dear Heavenly Father! First of all, I thank You for adopting me as son through Jesus Christ, regenerating my spirit. You gave me the power to be called and to be Your child! Glory to Thee for the boundless treasures that, by Thy mercy, are in my spirit. I believe that my spirit is righteous and holy, my spirit has the mind of Christ, has the wisdom that comes from above. My spirit has great power and authority - the same power that raised Jesus from the dead!

Precious fruits are ripening in my spirit: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, goodness, mercy, faithfulness, meekness, self-control. Lord, enlighten the eyes of my heart so that I may know all the riches of Your glorious inheritance...

Help my soul to patiently and faithfully walk the path of transformation into the image of Christ. Teach me to live by the spirit and not by the flesh. Keep me from the temptation of legalism. Protect me from the impoverishment of faith!

I believe in the physical resurrection of the dead. I believe that such a glorious day will come when You will give me a new incorruptible body in which I will forever glorify You and serve You.

I thank You for the salvation that I have through faith in Christ! Receive all the glory, honor and praise in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Amen".

In the synodal text in Gen. 3:24 refers to one cherub, but the word cherub has a plural ending, so it is more correct to understand that the Garden of Eden was guarded not by one, but by two or even more cherubs.
