Airplane 777 300 seating arrangement is safe. How it's made, how it works, how it works

Rossiya Airlines began its operations back in 1992. During this time, the company gained great popularity among passengers, and now Rossiya is part of the Aeroflot groups. The company transports one million passengers annually, increasing route network. For all flights you need to have a good fleet in your arsenal. That is why the fleet includes modern aircraft, for example Boeing 777.

Specifications

The Boeing 777 appeared not so long ago, in 1994. The liners immediately became popular; many leading companies in the world ordered them. The airline has several such aircraft and several more are on order. Specifications Boeing 777-300 the following:

  • Length – 74 meters.
  • Capacity – about 400 people.
  • Cruising speed is 905 kilometers per hour.
  • Flight range is up to 12 thousand kilometers.
  • Maximum height flight - 13,100 meters.

Boeing 777-300 is good for long-distance flights, which are often carried out by the airline. The liners are in excellent condition, because they entered service not so long ago. Average age for all aircraft - two and a half years. You should know that in general the entire Russian fleet is very new, the average age of all Boeings is 4 years.

The seats on the company's plane are located as follows:

Rossiya Airlines Boeing 777-300 divided for several classes:

  • Business Class. Located in the bow of the aircraft, it can accommodate 30 passengers.
  • Comfortable class. Located behind business class, the number of seats is 48.
  • Economy class. Standard service on board, accommodates approximately 330 people.

The seats are usually arranged according to the principle: 9 seats in a row or 10 seats in a row (4 seats in the middle, 3 on the sides). According to reviews from tourists, the Boeing 777-300 is a fairly comfortable airliner. Occasionally, people complain about uncomfortable seats, narrow aisles or the lack of windows in some seats.

The best seats on a Boeing 777-300

When choosing places to fly, study the layout of the aircraft and listen to your desires. The picture shows a photo of the aircraft interior to make it easier to navigate:

  • From the first to the fifth rows - Business Class. There are two seats here, a total of 6 chairs in a row. The chairs themselves are quite wide, the distance between them is increased, which means there is more legroom. The chairs themselves are comfortable and soft.
  • Rows 11-16. These seats are in the compartment comfort class. The seats here are arranged according to the “2-4-2” pattern. The distance between the seats has been slightly reduced, resulting in less legroom. But this class has its pros and cons. The most uncomfortable row is row 11; its downside is that the partition in front of the seats is too close. In addition, there is a toilet nearby, which can interfere with your peace of mind during the flight.
  • 17th row. This is the first row economy class, there are no neighbors in front, so the seats won’t recline on you, and your legs can be straightened as you wish. Only in this row the side seats are arranged in pairs, while in others the seats are already arranged in groups of three.
  • Row 18, seats C and N. There are no neighbors in front, so there is plenty of legroom. These seats are located in the middle of the plane, the pitching will be minimally noticeable.
  • 24 row. Located after the emergency exits, there are no neighbors in front of you. But there is a toilet nearby, so you can hear unpleasant sounds and odors, this can be especially noticeable in places D and G.
  • 38 row. Similar to 24. There is an emergency exit and a kitchen area nearby. But there is a lot of legroom.
  • Rows 47-49, seats A, C, H and K. From these seats, the side seats are again arranged in pairs. But because of this, the aisles do not become wider; it is quite possible that passing passengers or flight attendants will interfere with you.

Good seats in Boeing 777-300

Let's take a closer look at the advantages and disadvantages of Boeing 777-300 passenger seats:

  • 12th row, places C, D, G, H. All these places are side by the aisle. People will often pass here to the toilet, so they may disturb you, since the passages themselves are not very wide.
  • 20 row, window seats. Keyword- “Window”, which may not even exist here. Passengers often complain that there is no window in this particular row.
  • 23 row. These are the last seats before the exits; the backs of the seats here can be reclined. But behind you will be toilet, so people will often walk past you, especially the aisle chairs.
  • 36 row. Similar to row 23. Behind you will be toilet and technical rooms. The movement of people will be most noticeable in areas near the edge.
  • 50 row. The situation is similar with the previous rows. Toilets located behind your seats can be a nuisance recline the seat back, besides, people will often flash past you.

Worst seats on a Boeing 777-300

There are few bad seats on a Boeing 777. Each seat has its pros and cons. But these are the places you shouldn’t choose:

  • 37 row. The row is located in front of the buffet and toilet; the walls of these rooms will prevent you from reclining the backrests completely. In addition, the outer seats - D and G - will be touched by passers-by.
  • 51 row. The situation is similar to row 37. There is a buffet behind the chairs, which means that the backs of the chairs cannot be reclined.

Interior

Business class has comfortable leather seats. They have a folding table, comfortable armrests, and a plasma screen. The seats themselves can be reclined 180 degrees. The design of this part of the cabin is usually made in classic colors - blue, red, white.

Boeing 777-300 business class looks something like this

Comfort class is very comfortable and spacious. The seats here are arranged according to the “2-4-2” pattern. The interior is slightly different from business class. The chairs here are not leather, the distance between them has been reduced. The seats are made in corporate colors. Not every flight offers this class of service.

Seat arrangement in comfort class Boeing 777-300 Russia

Economy class is the simplest in design; the seats are standard, but comfortable. Cabin layout may vary slightly from aircraft to aircraft. The main colors in the design are dark. The aisle and distance between rows are very narrow.

In general, the Boeing 777-300 of Rossiya Airlines is a large and comfortable airliner that is capable of transporting a large number of long-distance passengers.

At the end of winter - beginning of spring 2013, Aeroflot purchased 16 Boeing 777 300ER aircraft. They are designed for long flights and have a twin-engine General Electric GE90 turbofan engine. These aircraft were created in the early 90s, their drawings were entirely made on computers. This is the first line of cars produced in this way.

Another feature is the six-wheel chassis, which provides a soft landing, as well as a very spacious and at the same time comfortable interior for all passengers. Let's take a closer look at the interior layout of the Boeing 777 300ER.

Airplane interior

All 777 model aircraft have a distinctive curved cabin interior, and the size of the carry-on luggage racks and windows have been increased. Cabin seats, galleys and toilet stalls are mobile and airlines place them on aircraft at their discretion.

In total it accommodates 402 passengers. They are located in three service sectors and have different categories of comfort.

The Boeing 777 300ER cabin layout highlights business class, comfort and economy class. We will tell you more about them.

Business class seats

At the nose of the plane, the first five rows of seats accommodate 30 passengers. These seats are located two seats on the left, right and in the middle of the cabin. The side seats have access to portholes, the size of which is 380x250 mm. The distance between the rows is free, 1.5 meters, so it’s convenient to get out, if necessary, without touching your neighbor. Judging by the cabin diagram, the Boeing 777 300ER best places- this is business class.

The chairs here are made as comfortable as possible. In front of each passenger there is a monitor with a screen diagonal of 15.4″. The chair itself has interesting structure. Its plastic back remains in place, and the soft part folds forward. So even if the neighbor in front completely unfolds the chair and lies down to sleep on the resulting bed, this will not cause any inconvenience to the person sitting behind.

The photograph shows how the seat unfolds in this sector of the aircraft. But besides this, on the Boeing 777 300ER (according to the cabin layout), the best seats are occupied by passengers with additional features individual ordering of food in a restaurant. You can make a reservation only when you board the plane. Your favorite dish will be prepared and served to you. But, naturally, you will have to pay a large sum of money for such a service, because a plane ticket in such a class is not cheap.

Comfort class

The next level of comfort according to the Boeing 777 300ER cabin layout is considered to be seats from rows 11 to 16. Each of them has 8 seats, with sufficient passage.

This compartment is designed for 48 passengers. There is a small lamp above each seat, and an individual monitor measuring 10.6 inches in front.

For the convenience of passengers, a comfortable footrest is made for the feet, and in sleep mode it is designed special system extending not the backrest, but the chair cushions. This method does not interfere with people in front and behind.

Economy class

The remaining 324 people are located in several compartments of the aircraft, occupying the middle and tail of the aircraft. According to the cabin layout, on the Boeing 777 300ER the best seats in economy class are located in the aisle seats. There are double seats near the windows; if a couple is traveling, they will be more comfortable together.

The distance between the seats in this class is 90 cm. Some passengers find the most comfortable seats in front of the partition with the toilet. There is more space for your legs and you can stretch them forward.

The most inconvenient in this class, if you go by the layout of the Boeing 777 300ER cabin, people name the last seats in each compartment. That's because these seats can't go all the way back. This makes it difficult to find a comfortable sleeping position.

First class aircraft of the JET fleet

On long-distance aircraft flying to China, the North, and Europe, the prefix Jet is assigned to. The best places The Boeing 777 300ER JET is considered first class, which has only 8 seats. They unfold completely, turning into sleeping area. In addition, the chair is an eight-point massage chair with lumbar support.

The first class sector is closed with doors and you can invite a guest into your compartment, for whom there is a small sofa.

The personal compartment has LED lighting, a 23-inch monitor, communications, a power supply, and lockers for personal belongings. Everything is done for the convenience of distinguished guests. But the ticket price is appropriate.

JET Business Class

If we carefully examine the cabin layout of the Boeing 777 300ER JET, we will see quite good seats in business class. Seats arrangement - 1 - 2 - 1. The seats are located at an angle of 45 degrees in the direction of movement of the aircraft, in a herringbone shape. They fold out completely, so passengers can have a great night's sleep during the flight.

Of all 30 seats, passengers only dislike the seats located next to the galley. They complain that every time the curtain was raised, all the smells from the kitchen came out into the living room. Although, mostly the reviews are positive.

The partitions have built-in convenient monitors and a suitable power supply where you can recharge your razor or phone.

The remaining seats on the plane are occupied by passengers sitting in economy class.

When purchasing tickets, especially if it is a long-distance flight, it is recommended to carefully consider the layout of the aircraft. Even if you want to save money and do not take tickets to expensive sections, you can choose more in economy class comfortable places, where the kitchen is far away, the toilet is too, but the passage, where there is more legroom, is nearby.

What is Aeroflot company? “Boeing 777-300”, the diagram of the unit’s interior will be studied by us in this article. This aircraft is positioned as the largest twin-engine passenger airliner in the world. The winged aircraft differs from the previous version of the Boeing 777-200 in its elongated fuselage with increased passenger capacity. It is designed to work on long-distance highways. This plane first flew in 1997.

Basic characteristics

Why does Aeroflot prefer the Boeing 777-300? The interior layout of this amazing side deserves special attention. Commercial use of the airliner began in 1998. Today, serial production of the aircraft continues. In addition to the basic modification, there is also a model with an increased flight distance, the Boeing 777-300 ER, which has been in operation since 2004. The following table shows the basic characteristics of the board in question.

Airliner

Do you know how Aeroflot praises the Boeing 777-300? Passengers like the interior layout of this steel bird. It is known that the extended version of the Boeing 777-300 was developed to replace the Boeing 747-200 and 747-100 in segment A. The oblong version has a similar range and passenger capacity compared to older Boeing 747 models, but consumes a third less fuel and has 40% lower operating costs.

The 777-300's fuselage is 10 meters longer than the flagship 777-200, allowing it to accommodate up to 550 travelers in the single-class configuration required on Japan's very busy routes. The impressive length of the 777-300 forced specialists to equip the car with a ski under the tail, which protects it from hitting the ground.

The maximum range of the variety is 6015 nautical miles, thanks to which the 777-300 can operate on heavily congested routes that were previously served by the 747 version.

Tourists are happy that Aeroflot purchased a Boeing 777-300. The interior layout of this aircraft is very interesting. The first aircraft was delivered to Cathay Pacific in 1998, on May 21. Eight different customers purchased 6 777-300 airliners. By July 2010, all aircraft were in service. However, after the launch of the extended-range 777-300 ER modification in 2004, all merchants changed their orders to this version. There is no direct competitor to the 777-300 in the Airbus model range, but Airbus names the Airbus A 340-600 version as a competitor.

Modification

What are the characteristics of the Boeing 777-300 ER unit, interior layout? Aeroflot also carries passengers on this model. It is the Section B version of the 777-300, and ER stands for Extended Range. The model has extended and beveled wing tips, a reinforced nose strut, new base landing gear and additional fuel tanks. The 777-300 ER also features improvements to the wings, fuselage, empennage and engine pylons.

It is equipped with GE 90-115 V turbofan engines, which are the most powerful jet engines in the world today and have a maximum thrust of 513 kN. The longest range is 7,930 nautical miles (14,690 km). Experts were able to achieve this value by raising the maximum takeoff weight and fuel supply.

Full load range is increased by approximately 34% compared to the 777-300. After the introduction of new engines, wings, flight tests and increase in take-off weight, fuel consumption decreased by 1.4%.

A park

Next, the Boeing 777-300 aircraft and the interior diagram will be described in detail. Aeroflot operates 13 777-300 ER aircraft. Let's study their characteristics first. This aircraft has two engines and is designed for intercontinental flights over a distance of up to 14,500 km. All Boeing 777s were produced at the supplier's plant and were not operated by other airlines. It is known that the average age of the 777th sample is two and a half years. This nuance is a sign that the cabin in which you are going to travel will be clean and new.

It should be noted that Aeroflot airline owns one of the youngest parks of steel birds. The average age of the company's board is 4.3 years.

Inconveniences

Above was a diagram of the Boeing 777-300 EP aircraft interior. Aeroflot is a great company. She owns Boeings, whose seats in economy class are arranged in the form of 3-4-3. This is more than the same aircraft of the Transaero enterprise. The airliner accommodates many, but loses space per passenger. Some people complain about narrow chairs - their backrests are limited in tilting, making them uncomfortable to sleep on.

Also, travelers do not like the placement of portholes. Many people see only one second part of each of the two windows.

Places

Now let’s look at the cabin (Boeing 777-300) in as much detail as possible. Aeroflot pays attention to its customers. So, let's look at the best and worst places of the legendary aircraft:

  • Rows 1-5. This is a high-quality, modern business class. Here the chairs, upholstered in leather, can be completely extended - you can make a full-fledged bed out of them. Each place is equipped with large monitors, an entertainment system, and an individual menu. There are no complaints, but travelers pay for it in full.
  • The 11th line is the beginning of the comfortable category. There are disadvantages here, unlike business class. But first, let's start with the advantages. The distance between the rows here is quite large. The seats do not recline back, but move forward, so people sitting behind have enough space. Each seat is equipped with its own folding table, individual lighting system and 10.6-inch display. In fact, there is everything for a comfortable trip here. What are the disadvantages of row 11? Passengers say that the distance from the partition separating business and comfort classes is too small, so tall people It’s difficult to stretch your legs here. Places G and P have another disadvantage - the toilet is located close to each other. There are no “smells”, but there is constant movement around the chair.
  • Row 17 is economy class. It is marked with green paint, which means it is a beautiful place. What are the main advantages here? There is impressive legroom as there is no row at the front. In addition, there are only a couple of chairs along the edges (there are three in the other rows), and this is additional space. There is no kitchen, no toilets, no emergency exit nearby - this is a quiet zone. Of course, there are disadvantages: these places are sold out first of all.
  • Line 18, places H and C. Many people praise them. Just like in row 17, you can stretch your legs here without any problems, since there are no seats in front. Toilets are located far away, which means that there will be no unnecessary fuss near the place.
  • Row 20. Here some travelers complain about the lack of a porthole. Although for those who like to sleep, these places are good.
  • Row 23. These seats have disadvantages, despite the fact that the seats recline back freely. You will be comfortable here, but the toilets located behind the row will spoil the mood. And places C, D, G and H are located exactly where people constantly walk.
  • Row 24. This is a wonderful area marked with green paint. There's plenty of legroom. There is no row in front, which means the back of the adjacent chair will not be disturbed. There are downsides here: the toilets are too close, although you have to walk past the emergency exit to get to them. In addition, you often have to pay extra to book such places.
  • Row 36 is similar to row 23. The proximity of the toilet will not provide additional comfort, although you can get to it very quickly if necessary. In addition, there can be a lot of fuss here due to the close proximity of the kitchen. That is why seats D and G are the most undesirable for booking.
  • 38th line. There is a great area here, similar to row 24. There is no row of seats in front, the legroom is increased. The downside is that the space often comes at an additional cost.
  • Seats A, K, H, C. The fuselage of the airliner narrows in this area, leaving only two seats at the edges. There is additional legroom here. These are great places to travel as a couple.
  • Rows 50 and 51 are designed on the same principle as 36 and are not recommended for travel.

According to various world ratings, the Boeing 777 is the safest aircraft. The Boeing 777 is a wide-body turbojet airliner for long-haul airlines. The aircraft has been developed since 1991. The Boeing 777 aircraft was developed entirely on computers. During the development of the airliner, not a single paper drawing was produced. All documentation was created using 3D design software. In addition, the Boeing 777 set a flight range record for aircraft with a take-off weight of 250-300 tons on the route Seattle (USA) - Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) with a length of 20,045 kilometers. The record was set on April 2, 1997. In 2013, the world flight range record was exceeded and the Boeing 777 covered a distance of 21,501 kilometers. The Boeing 777 aircraft can fly to any airport in the world practically without landing. The Boeing 777 has gained great popularity among all airlines and passengers. Since the 90s, several modifications of the aircraft have been developed. Boeing 777 family aircraft have crew rest areas: two chairs and two beds.

The total number of Boeing 777 aircraft produced (all models) in 2012 was 1,372 units.

Economy class cabin. The economy class cabin of the Boeing 777 can accommodate up to 555 passengers. The interior of the cabin is made in the style of Boeing Signature Interior. The salon has enlarged luggage racks and the interior lighting is designed using an indirect lighting scheme. In the economy version, the cabin is equipped with ten seats in a row. Compared to previous Boeing aircraft, the 777 has larger windows. In 2011, the Boeing company decided to change the interior of the Boeing 777 cabin. The interior of the Boeing 787 cabin was taken as a basis. This program is called the common cabin experience.

Business and VIP class salon. In the 1st class cabin (business class) there are 6 seats in a row. Business class cabins have more free space for passengers. The 1st class cabin is equipped with more comfortable seats. Some Boeing 777 aircraft are equipped with VIP class cabins. The VIP lounges have all the conditions for a comfortable flight. The chairs can be transformed into a full bed. Airlines Boeing 777 Imperial Cabin. Transaero has equipped several Boeing 777s with Imperial cabins. The Imperial salon was created for those who love luxury and comfort. Salon Imperial is the highest achievement of service civil aviation. The Imperial cabin passenger receives individual attention and excellent service. The best employees of the company work on board the Imperial cabins. The seats in the Imperial salon are upholstered in gold and can recline 180 degrees, turning into a bed. The seats are arranged so that each one has a porthole (possibly two portholes). The Boeing 777 Imperial cabins have excellent cuisine: they serve dishes of sterlet, venison, caviar and quail eggs. Passengers can also try desserts from French confectioners.

The best seats in the Boeing 777 cabin

The best seats depend on the cabin layout. We can talk about general features:
- it’s better to buy seats near the emergency exit, there is more space there,
- Comfort seats (from 11 to 16 rows in Boeing 777-300),
- any seats with three chairs, but not in front of the toilet,
- the seats next to the aisle are relatively more advantageous; you can stretch your legs for a while,
- when configuring a Boeing 777 aircraft according to the 2-5-2 scheme, when flying together, it is better to take pairs from the window.
- in all economy cabins of the Boeing 777 - the closer the seat to the nose, the greater the distance between the rows.
- the biggest shaking is felt in the tail, least of all at the wings,
- when the flight is not overloaded, it happens that there are no neighbors at all in the tail and there is more freedom than necessary.

Aeroflot's airliners include 13 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. This aircraft has two engines and is designed for long intercontinental flights over a distance of up to 14,500 km. All Boeing 777s were ordered from the manufacturer and were not operated by other airlines. The average age of the 777 model is 2.5 years. This means that the cabin in which you will fly will be new and clean.

It is worth noting that Aeroflot airline has one of the youngest fleets of aircraft. The average age of the company's airliner is 4.3 years.

The Boeing 777-300 cabin is divided into three classes: business - accommodates 30 passengers, comfort - accommodates 48 passengers, economy - accommodates 324 passengers. The capacity of the liner is thus 402 passengers.

The seat arrangement of Aeroflot Boeings in economy class is in a 3-4-3 configuration. This is more than the same Boeings from Transaero. Thus, the liner interferes more, but loses free space for each person. Some passengers complain about narrow seats - they are uncomfortable to sleep on, and the backrests are somewhat limited in their ability to tip over. There are also complaints about the location of the windows. In most, only the bulkhead and half of each of the two windows will be visible side by side.

In other matters, we suggest you look into the best and worst places of this aircraft in more detail.

Rows 1-5. Modern, high-quality business class. Leather chairs fold out completely and take a horizontal shape (it turns out to be a full-fledged bed). Each place has large monitors, an entertainment system, and an individual menu. There are no complaints, but we also pay for it in full. 11 row. This is where the comfort class begins. Unlike business class, there is something to complain about here. But first, let's start with the advantages. The distance between the rows here is quite large. The seats do not recline back, but move forward, so passengers sitting behind have enough space. Each seat has its own folding table, individual lighting system and 10.6-inch monitor. In general, there is everything for a comfortable flight. Now about the shortcomings of the 11th row. According to passengers, the distance to the partition separating business and comfort class is very small. It will be difficult for tall people to stretch their legs. Places G and H have another disadvantage - the proximity of the toilet. There will be no “smells”, but constant walking past your chair is guaranteed.
Row 17. This is already an economic class. This series marked green, which means these are good places. The main advantages are large legroom, since there is no row in front. Also, there are only two chairs at the edges (the remaining rows have 3 chairs each), and this is additional space. There are no toilets, kitchens or emergency exits nearby. Nice and quiet places. Of course, there are disadvantages - these places are sorted out first.
Row. 18 places C and H. Very good places. Just like in the 17th row, there is a lot of legroom here, due to the lack of seats in the front. The toilets are located far away, which means there is no unnecessary fuss near your place.
Row 20. Some passengers complain about the lack of a porthole. Although, for those who like to sleep, it’s just the thing.
Row 23. Not very good seats, despite the fact that the seats recline freely. All comfort is overshadowed by the presence of toilets behind the row. In places C, D, G and H it’s even worse - the chair is in the most accessible place.
Row 24. Nice places, marked in green. There's plenty of legroom here. There is no row in front, which means the back of your neighbor’s chair will not disturb you. Cons - the toilets are quite close, although they are located across the passage (emergency exit). In addition, it is not uncommon to pay extra to book such places.
Row 36. Analogy of row 23. The proximity of the toilet will not provide additional comfort (other than the fact that you will be close to it). In addition, there may be even more bustle and walking due to the proximity of the kitchen. In this sense, seats D and G are the least desirable for booking.
Row 38. Good seats, very similar to row 24. Increased legroom, no front row. The downside, again, is that the space often comes at an additional cost.
Row 47. Places A,C,H,K. The fuselage of the aircraft narrows at this point and two seats remain at the edges. These particular areas provide extra legroom. Great places to fly as a couple.
Row 50 and 51 for the same reasons as in row 36, it is not recommended for flights.
