The most popular means: Fairy, Eared nanny, Bingo, Gala, Bio, etc.

What kind of dish detergent should it be?

There are certain requirements for each product and product, so dish detergent is no exception.

It should be:

  • economical;
  • large volume;
  • the product, falling on the sponge, should form a lush, dense foam;
  • have a scent that does not cause allergic reactions;
  • consistency and pH must be within the acceptable range;
  • the packaging must be undamaged, a container with a dispenser;
  • the label must contain a complete description of the product and instructions for use.

Attention! It is better not to use detergents with damaged packaging and containers, with an unpleasant odor.

You can find products in the form of liquid, gel, tablets, powders on store shelves. Each species is good in its own way. The basis of each product is surfactants (surfactants), it is they who break down the fat that every housewife is struggling with.

In water, the active substances begin to act, they break down into negatively charged ions and the fat breaks down. Therefore, in order for the agent to dissolve fat well, it must contain a large amount of active substances.

Every housewife has a favorite detergent that attracts with price or quality. But not all dishwashing detergents will do the job effectively. Surfactants are dangerous substances for an adult and especially a child's body.

To get rid of them, you must thoroughly rinse the detergent from the dishes. Children's dishes are recommended to be washed without the use of chemical detergents. If cleaning is necessary, use the best folk remedies that can be prepared from simple ingredients.

Disadvantages of dish chemicals

Detergents are a godsend for the hostess, but despite the relief, they only complicate things. Most of the components that make up the detergent are poisonous. Everyone sometimes had to deal with skin problems on their hands.

But no one thought about this, but it is worth thinking about. It takes a lot of water and time to rinse out the entire chemical composition. Because of this, a product remains on the dishes, which with food enters the stomach, where the poison settles.

Scientists have calculated that the average person drinks two glasses of detergent per year. The agent, entering the body, contributes to the weakening of the immune system, the functioning of the liver, kidneys and lungs and other important organs decreases and worsens.

To protect the body from the effects of detergents, reduce their use. You will not be able to completely refuse, but they can be replaced with natural detergents.

How can the use of detergents be reduced?

  1. To dissolve grease and remove food debris, wash the dishes in hot water. If the dirt is strong, only then use a detergent, but wear gloves.
  2. You can replace a store-bought product with regular baking soda. It removes any dirt well and is thoroughly washed off with water.
  3. Mustard powder can be used as a detergent. Dissolve it in water, you get a mushy mixture. Place the gruel in a container with a lid. Dishes are washed from mustard amazingly. The only drawback is that mustard stains sponges and rags.

Don't trust the manufacturers. They will never say that detergents contain harmful substances that adversely affect health. Pay attention to the composition, if it includes chlorine, phosphates, phthalates and surfactants, you think, it might be better to refuse to purchase.

Choose a dish detergent carefully to protect yourself and your loved ones from the occurrence of various diseases.

But it is better to wash the dishes with natural and reliable products that you can prepare yourself. The most popular is mustard powder. It perfectly cleans even the most stubborn dirt, removes fat, fish odor.

The pros and cons of home cleaning products

Positive aspects of the product:

  • Environmental friendliness. Natural and simple ingredients are used in the preparation of products. You will know what is included in the funds. The great advantage of such drugs is the absence of a negative impact on water quality and human health.
  • The product is well and completely washed off from the dishes, therefore, the ingestion of components into the body is reduced to zero.
  • The components are simple and accessible to everyone, and they are also not as expensive as conventional store drugs.

Disadvantages:

  • Self-made detergents are consumed faster than conventional purchased household chemicals.
  • You need to allocate time to prepare the product.

Advice! If for the first time you decide to make your own dishwashing detergent, use the simplest and most gentle products.

It has long been no secret that the vast majority of cleaning products, powders, bleaches, sprays and other household "goodies" do us more harm than good. Some of them, for example, contain formaldehyde (recognized as a carcinogen and conducive to cancer). Almost all detergents pollute the air in our homes with chemicals that are harmful to health. When they come into contact with the skin of the hands, they can cause allergies, split nails, irritation, etc.

Therefore, when choosing household chemicals for home use, I am guided primarily by the naturalness of the product. But since manufacturers are not particularly worried about the environment, there is not much to choose from the range presented. Therefore, I decided to start (if possible) the creation of cleaning products myself. I will share proven recipes, maybe someone else will come in handy.

Experimentally, I got an excellent cleaning powder, which I use for washing dishes, and for tiles and plumbing.

DIY cleaning powder:

5 tbsp. l. dry mustard powder

7 tbsp. l. soda

1 tbsp. l. salt

1 tbsp citric acid

Pour all the ingredients into a dry dish. And mix very well.

After that, the resulting mass, I fall asleep in just such a box

and I use it))

The powder is excellent for washing both dishes and plumbing. Gives shine, removes unpleasant odor, and most importantly natural and harmless.

For cleaning surfaces both in the kitchen and throughout the house I use this detergent:

100 ml vinegar

100 ml ammonia

150 ml. water

We mix everything carefully and into a spray bottle. Such a tool perfectly cleans tiles, kitchen surfaces, as well as walls, glass, etc.

More for cleaning can be used vinegar solution... I do it like this:

I peel off the peel of one lemon, pour 150 ml into it. vinegar (the whole thing in a jar), close the lid and leave it to brew overnight

In the morning, add 150 ml of water, mix gently and everything can be used. I soak a few knitted rags in this product, and close the lid. The cloths are soaked in the product and perfectly wash all surfaces. It can also be used in a spray bottle.

For lovers liquid dishwashing you can do it like this:

We take 50 grams of laundry soap (an ordinary yellow piece without odors and additives), pour 250 grams of hot water and rinse it in this water until it dissolves - soapy water is obtained

Add 3 tbsp. l. soda

1 tbsp kitchen coarse salt

We mix everything well and wait for the salt and soda to dissolve. The resulting mixture must be filtered (since after dissolving the salt, a sediment always remains) and poured into a spray bottle or other convenient container for liquid dishwashing detergent.

I make such funds all the time and use them in the household. The houses are clean, neat, and most importantly, a minimum of chemistry and a maximum of naturalness. You can experiment and make your own cleaning products.

And here is another small selection of useful properties of products we have known for a long time:

For cleaning heavily soiled (and not only) surfaces in the kitchen and in the bath You can also use a cleaning paste: mix baking soda with hydrogen peroxide in such quantities to form a paste. Spread the resulting mixture over the dirty area and leave for 5-10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly - it washes just super. It can also be used to remove burnt grease from baking trays, but leave it covered for at least 25-30 minutes.

You can update the dishwashing sponges as follows: Dip a sponge into a bowl, fill it with hot water and add a little lemon juice or vinegar.

To remove limescale or rust, wipe the surface with lemon zest or a cotton pad moistened with lemon juice.

If the gas burners are rusty, put them in a saucepan, cover with water, add as much baking soda as possible and put on fire. Boil the burners in this solution, and when you see that the rust has disappeared, you can remove the burners.

To clean the oven, drip ammonia onto a sponge and gently moisten all contaminated areas. Then close the oven and leave it overnight, and in the morning all this dirt will easily come off. In order to prevent the oven from getting dirty, you can do preventive maintenance in it before starting cooking - wipe the oven with a sponge moistened with water and vinegar.

To wash the sink You only need salt and vinegar. Pour salt (preferably large, stone) into the sink and pour over with vinegar. Acetic acid whitens and salt cleanses.

To get rid of limescale in the kettle, mix vinegar (or 50 grams of citric acid) with water in a one-to-one ratio and pour this mixture overnight. Or, in order not to wait the whole night, you need to boil the kettle with such a solution until all the scale has left the walls of the kettle and dissolves. Then rinse the kettle thoroughly with water.

To eliminate unpleasant odors in the kitchen, it is absolutely not necessary to use chemical air fresheners. Take orange, lemon, or grapefruit skins, place them in a dry skillet and fry them over low heat.

For cleaning floors throughout the apartment, you can use 0.5 cups of vinegar + 2 tbsp. salt in a bucket of water

To clean the soleplate of the iron you can use regular salt

Procedure:

1. Cover the ironing board with paper and sprinkle a layer of salt on it.

2. Set the iron heating regulator to the maximum value. When doing this, be sure to make sure that the Steam function is off and there is no water in the iron.

3. We carry out with a heated iron on the salt. All dirt from the surface of the iron will be cleaned off quickly and easily.

In each case, you have to deal with surfaces of different materials, which requires a different approach.

There are many products available for home cleaning that effectively remove dirt. The problem is that these chemicals are, by definition, harmful to humans and pets. If there is no special need, then it is better to use natural home remedies, which are equally effective and do not harm health.

Cleaning compounds are made from common ingredients found in every kitchen. Some differences in the selection of components are associated with the characteristics of the material being cleaned.

Cleaning agents for solid dirt

For cleaning solid dirt on chimneys, fireplaces, hoods and grills, an ammonia-based composition is suitable.

  3. To restore shine after cleaning, it is advisable to use a polish.

DIY cleaner - video

Commercial ready-made dishwashing detergents are chemically unsafe. It can be very difficult to rinse off leftovers from cups and plates. In addition, they have a negative effect on the condition of the skin of the hands.

Natural eco-friendly options are also on sale. But their cost is quite high. Therefore, the best solution would be to make such a tool yourself, from safe components. This is especially true for families with children and allergy sufferers.

Pros and cons of homemade dish detergents

Before proceeding with the manufacture of such formulations, it is worthwhile to carefully study all their pros and cons. DIY dishwashing detergents have many features:

  1. 1. All of their components are safe and environmentally friendly. The resulting product will not have a negative impact on the environment and the health of all households.
  2. 2. Unlike most commercial gels, homemade gels do not accelerate the aging process of the skin of the hands.
  3. 3. A self-made dishwashing detergent will not contain strong allergens, as in many household products. Therefore, they will not cause allergies and skin irritation. Such compounds do not accumulate in the stomach and respiratory organs.
  4. 4. Homemade dishwashing liquids have a budget cost. You can always regulate it yourself, replacing the recommended components with cheaper counterparts.
  5. 5. Self-made products are very easily and quickly washed off the dishes. To remove the smallest particles of ready-made chemical compounds, plates and cutlery must first be soaked in hot water, and then rinsed for a long time under cool running water. With a homemade detergent, the dishwashing process is greatly accelerated.
  6. 6. Homemade cleansing liquids can have a very pleasant natural scent. To do this, it is enough to choose the essential oil you like in the pharmacy.

It is worth noting the disadvantages of homemade dish detergents:

  1. 1. First of all, this is their lower efficiency, which is explained by the absence in the composition of active chemical components that instantly break down fat and remove other contaminants. But it will be enough just to spend a little more time removing food debris from the surface of the dishes, so that it shines clean.
  2. 2. Another disadvantage is the rapid consumption of the composition. Therefore, when making a dishwashing detergent with your own hands, you should immediately make more gel or liquid so that they last for a long time.
