Meanwhile, investigators are seizing documentation from the main bureau of medical and social examination. The head of the organization himself was also detained. According to some reports, he took bribes from his subordinates to conceal information about fake certificates. Allegedly, we are talking about four million rubles received over several years. There is a version that a car came into his possession in a similar way. In exchange for expensive gifts, the official did not control the number of strict reporting forms, and, if necessary, put his own signature on the documents.

Scandals involving experts and misappropriation of disabilities keep popping up in the region. Last year, high-profile cases were considered in the Volgodonsk region. Then a local expert was caught taking bribes, who also made people disabled without thanks.

One of the residents of Kaspiysk told us about another funny fact. He delayed his marriage until his fiancée applied for a fake disability. At the same time, according to the investigation, a significant part of the money obtained from crime still went to the doctors of the Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise. Law enforcement agencies are confident that during further investigations into the case of bribe-taking doctors, more and more episodes of illegal acquisition of disability certificates by Vologda residents will emerge. It is possible that separate criminal cases will appear not only against bribe-takers, but also against bribe-givers. At the same time, those who voluntarily appear before investigators and admit to illegally purchasing documents from employees of the medical and social examination bureau will be able to count on leniency and release from criminal liability.
