Liquid extract for oral and topical use Rotokan Vilar (sometimes mistakenly called a solution or tincture).

Instructions for use and method of use

Locally, orally, rectally.

Rotocan is used in the form of an aqueous solution, which is prepared before use by adding 1 teaspoon of the drug to a glass of warm boiled water. If well tolerated, the dose can be increased to 3 teaspoons per glass of water. In dentistry, periodontal treatment is carried out after removing dental plaque and curettage of pathological gum pockets. Thin turundas, generously moistened with a solution of the drug, are injected into the gum pockets for 20 minutes. The procedure is carried out once a day, every day or every other day, 4-6 times in total. For diseases of the oral mucosa, the drug solution is used by application (15-20 minutes) or mouth rinses (1-2 minutes) 2-3 times a day for 2-5 days.

In gastroenterology, Rotokan is used orally and in microenemas. Take 1/3-1/2 cup of solution orally 30 minutes before meals or 40-60 minutes after meals 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

Microenemas with 50-100 ml of the drug solution are used after a cleansing enema 1-2 times a day. The course of treatment is 3-6 days.

Contraindicated in children under 18 years of age.

The drug contains at least 33% ethyl alcohol (alcohol).

In the maximum daily dose of an aqueous solution obtained by adding 1 teaspoon of the drug to a glass of warm boiled water, the content of absolute ethyl alcohol is about 3.2 g.

In the maximum daily dose of an aqueous solution obtained by adding 3 teaspoons of the drug to a glass of warm boiled water, the absolute ethyl alcohol content is about 9.5 g.

When using the drug, you should refrain from engaging in potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (including driving vehicles, working with moving mechanisms).
