A year has passed since I graduated from Alma Mater, namely the Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy in my beloved city of Perm. It was a difficult and at the same time intense and happy 6 years of difficult study, varied communication and limitless life experience. I still proudly remember the moment when the rector announced a passing grade based on the results of three exams in chemistry, biology and the Ukrainian language. My heart almost jumped out of my chest when I heard the number and realized that I was a student! The competition was 4 people per place. It took me a lot of effort to get in. And then it began: an incredible flow of information, laboratories, chemical experiments, medical experiments, thick textbooks, white coats and 10 unchanged faces of classmates took root in life for a long 5 years. Of course, there is a trade union at the university, Cultural Center for creative youth, student government, scientific communities and sports sections. All this was also satiating student life and gave her color. The Perm Pharmaceutical Academy had all-Union significance in the old days, and now it is the only university specifically focused on pharmaceuticals in Perm. A strong and professional teaching staff, a credit-modular education system, as well as our own enthusiasm did their job - they helped me gain knowledge and graduate with dignity. But the main result of this life stage I consider meeting my current husband, a colleague. It is thanks to the fact that we started our family that the use of my diploma is now postponed for the future, and I will gladly take up copywriting!

She graduated from this university in 2011 and received higher education after pharmaceutical college. Pharm. The academy is a fairly popular university, not only among residents of Perm, but also Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk regions. There are students from Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Ufa, and Vladimir. Competition for admission of 4-5 people per place, entrance exams - chemistry and Russian language. There are budget ones. On a commercial basis, training costs about 50 thousand rubles per year. Forms of training: full-time and part-time. The hostel is either apartment type - 1, 2, 3 rooms with a kitchen, bathroom and toilet, or communal with one shower per floor. The organization of the educational process is not bad, mostly 4 classes per day - 3 lectures and 1 practical (seminars or laboratory classes). You have to prepare a lot and every day, they ask you strictly and carry out mandatory test or written knowledge control at each practical lesson. The teaching staff is very strong; they are practicing doctors, chemists, technologists, pharmacologists and other specialists. many have advanced degrees. There are usually no problems with the dean's office; they are loyal and can help and reassure you if you have problems with your studies. Retakes are paid, 150 rubles per exam, but almost everyone retakes the second time. Some exams can be passed if you attend personal consultations with host teachers, which is also paid separately, but guarantees a positive grade. Tests and exams can also be bought illegally, although not in all subjects and not from all teachers. The cost varies: a bottle of cognac, Appliances or sum of money(from 1000 to 10000p). You can also sometimes find answers to exams and other tasks. The academy has a trade union, a KVN team, a choir, sports sections, and a dance group. Regular excursions, concerts, and trips to the theater are organized. One of the buildings has dental office, where students can receive treatment. After graduating from the PSFA, you can also undergo an internship in 3 specialties: pharmacist-organizer, pharmacist-technologist, pharmacist-analyst. The cost of internship training is 25 thousand rubles. Form of study: full-time and part-time. Almost all graduates work in their specialty: deputies and heads of pharmacies, heads. department, chief pharmacists, medical representatives, medicine certification specialists.

New pharmaceutical enterprises urgently began to open, both by public organizations - the Red Cross Society, the Union of Cities, and by private individuals: there was an urgent need for pharmaceutical personnel for industrial production and pharmacies. There was also another need for the formation of a pharmaceutical higher school in the Perm region. The rapid development of the cities of the Urals and the construction of factories there required the development of an educational network. A university was urgently needed. Many scientists advocated its creation: D.I. Mendeleev, A.S. Popov, D.N. Mamin-Sibiryak, as well as such associations as the Ural Society of Natural Science Lovers. Pharmacists and pharmacists of the Urals joined their opinion, hoping for the opening of a pharmaceutical faculty or a pharmaceutical institute. In 1915, the government decided to organize pharmaceutical departments at the physics and mathematics departments of universities and create new universities in the outback. The general increase in the cost of living in connection with the war reduced the number of young people wishing to receive education in the central cities of Petrograd and Moscow. Therefore, Perm was chosen as one of the points for opening new universities as the geographical center of the entire region, in which there were a sufficient number of secondary and lower educational institutions. The first step on this path could be the transfer of Derit University to Perm, desirable in view of the danger of Dorpat being occupied by German troops and the possible looting a priceless university library. A representative of the University of Dorpat even arrived in Perm, but the professors refused to go to provincial town(later Voronezh was chosen for this purpose). The matter of organizing a university in Perm received such a loud public outcry that it was decided not to transfer part of Petrograd University to Perm and create a Perm branch of Petrograd University. A commission was sent from Petrograd University to Perm, which appointed Professor K.D. Pokrovsky acting rector of the Perm branch of Petrograd University. Young people who graduated from educational institutions in the following provinces - Perm, Arkhangelsk, Vyatka, Vologda, Orenburg educational districts, received the right to enroll as students. Thus, by October 1, 1916, all the prerequisites were formed for the grand opening of the Perm branch of Petrograd University. And on May 5, 1917, the Provisional Government issued a decree to establish Perm University, based on the Perm branch of Petrograd University, consisting of three faculties: historical and philological, physical and mathematical, legal. Medical department as part of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, it was later separated into the Faculty of Medicine. Young and promising scientists from Petrograd, Moscow, Kazan, Yuryev and other university centers came to Perm - a total of 21 teachers. Among them are professors, associate professors, private assistant professors - plant physiologist A .A. Richter, zoologist D.M. Fedotov, physical chemistry specialist D.V. Alekseev, anatomist V.K. Schmidt, physicist G.G. Weikhardt, founder of the school of medical entomologists V.N. Beklemishev, astronomer K.D. Pokrovsky, organic chemist A.I. Lunyak and others. Many of them enjoyed the reputation of being “unreliable.” The English traveler Ya. Greenwald recalled the university of that time: “The center of all cultural life was the university... its students give Perm the character of a scientific and academic town... This circumstance leaves an imprint on the face of the city, which has become one of the republican centers of science, a unique “ Ural Cambridge.” In those years, the names of the visiting scientists were not yet widely known. The promising appearance of a constellation of talents in Perm did not illuminate the Perm scientific horizon for long, until 1920. They traveled to the east of Europe with great hopes, just as European scientists once did to St. Petersburg. Classes at the Department of Pharmacognosy in Microscopy at Oxford and several American universities, author of about 130 scientific papers, laureate of prestigious international awards, Fellow of the Royal Society of London. For a long time, students of medical, biological, veterinary and pharmaceutical specialties studied from the book “General Course of Animal and Human Physiology”, written by a physiologist, one of the creators of the theory of ion excitation, professor Perm University B.F. Verigo.Professor of botany, biology researcher lower organisms, A.G. Genkel became the head of an entire dynasty of Perm scientists. Histologist Professor A.A. left a bright mark in the history of Perm biology. Zavarzin - later a professor at the capital's universities, academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences and Academy of Medical Sciences, director of the Institute of Cytology, Histology and Embryology of the USSR Academy of Sciences, author of numerous works, laureate of the Stalin Prize, which he received in 1942. The Russian scientific community is also well aware of the name of biologist A.A. Lyubishchev and his scientific works. N.I. is considered the founder of pharmaceutical education in the Urals. Cromer. Before taking up the position of professor at Perm University in October 1917, he worked at the universities of Yuryev - Dorpat - Tartu and Kazan, trained in England, Germany, France, worked at the St. Petersburg Military Medical Academy, became the author of more than 120 scientific papers in the field of pharmacognosy, analytical and toxicological chemistry. These are just some of the names of almost two hundred scientists who made up the scientific corps of Perm University in the first half of the 20th century. They were the “fathers” of scientific directions, schools and societies that existed in the 1920s at the university, publishers of collections scientific works(since 1929, the collections received a single name - “ Scientific notes Perm University"). And in the 1930s, when pharmaceutical, medical, agricultural, pedagogical, chemical-technological and veterinary institutes were separated from the university, the range of scientific research and prospects for their development became even greater. From this moment on, the difficult path of creating a center for pharmaceutical education in the Urals began. Modern Ural pharmacists owe the opportunity to receive a decent professional education to the efforts of several generations of teaching staff. Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy (PGFA) is one of the oldest universities in the country and one of three independent pharmaceutical universities in Russia. It was created in 1937 as the Perm State Pharmaceutical Institute, renamed in 1995 into the academy, and in 2005 into the state educational institution of higher professional education Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy of the Federal Agency for Health and Social Development. Since 2007, the academy has been certified in the management system quality in relation to educational and research activities in pharmacy for compliance with the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2001 (ISO 9001:2000) and GOST R 52614.2-2006 (IWA 2:2007). The Academy is located very advantageously from a geographical point of view - at the junction European and Asian territories of Russia. This fact, as well as the absence of other similar universities in the Volga, Ural, Siberian and Far Eastern federal districts defines its special role as an interregional training center. The university trains specialists in various forms training - higher education (with qualification “pharmacist”), postgraduate (internship, postgraduate, doctoral studies), additional professional education (advanced training and retraining of executives and specialists).
