Priority place in the scientific and clinical developments of the N.N. Ya.L. Tsivyan, due to their diversity, severity and a huge flow of patients, has always been occupied with spinal injuries. For the treatment of spinal fractures, Ya.L. Tsivyan and his students were among the first in the country to develop a number of variants of ventral fusion with auto- and allograft.
