Mastodinon

Mastodinon is a homeopathic medicine, widely used in the treatment of women suffering from menstrual irregularities, breast diseases and premenstrual syndrome.

The main release options for Mastodinon are tablets and drops for oral administration. The drug exerts its effect thanks to the substances of natural origin included in its composition. These active components are obtained from Angus castus, Caulophyllum thalictroides, Cyclamen, Ignatia, Iris, Lilium tigrinum. Mastodinon also contains ethanol (47-53 vol.%), and therefore, it is not recommended to use it in the treatment of persons who have undergone a course of anti-alcohol therapy. In the treatment of women with liver diseases, Mastodinon should be prescribed with caution.

Mastodinone has a dopaminergic effect, which results in a decrease in the production of prolactin in the posterior lobe of the pituitary gland, which is mainly due to the content of Angus castus in the drug. Exceeding the normal blood prolactin concentration has a stimulating effect on pathological proliferative processes in mammary gland tissues.

Mastodinon, by reducing the production of the hormone, prevents the development of fibrocystic mastopathy. At the same time, tangible positive effect relief from treatment occurs after approximately 6 months of regular use of the drug. The drug contains:

162 mg of sacred or Abrahamic tree vitex (Agnus Castus D1);

81 mg European cyclamen (Cyclamen D4);

81 mg cohosh; (Caulophyllum thalictroides D4);

81 mg chilibukha ignatia (Ignatia D6);

81 mg tiger lily (Lilium tigrinum D3);

162 mg iris (Iris D2).

Long-term use is required for three months. You need to take 2 tablets, 2 times a day, morning and evening. If symptoms do not disappear after 6 weeks, continuation of therapy is recommended after talking with your doctor.

Side effects

Long-term use can cause allergic reactions, sometimes nausea, stomach pain, headache, acne, itchy exanthema and slight weight gain. The emergence of temporary psychomotor agitation, hallucinations and confusion are possible due to the presence of Agnus castus. Mode of application:

Homeopathy can be very helpful in our women's issues. Having virtually no contraindications or side effects, it is nevertheless capable of healing. The main thing is to be patient, because the actual course of treatment lasts at least 3-6 months.

To begin with, it is worth remembering that the main principle of homeopathic treatment is that like is treated with like. This means that a homeopathic remedy, entering the patient’s body, causes there “ drug disease”, displacing “natural disease”.

While preparing this review, I realized that in the full sense of homeopathy among the well-known and well-established pharmaceutical drugs, almost no: yes complex And antihomotoxic .

The first ones, they are also called complexons, do not correspond to another important principle of homeopathy - the selection of a remedy according to the person’s constitution, his characteristic features and features. General contraindications for such homeopathic remedies are individual intolerance and pregnancy. But, if pregnancy occurs while taking them, then nothing bad will happen and the baby will not suffer.

There are either no side effects or they are not serious, like increased salivation, which, you see, cannot be compared with the side effects of hormonal drugs.

When the cycle is regular, it is easier to plan your life, but I could never boast of regularity. Either a week later, but a week earlier, then a month late - such a floating cycle brought me anxiety.

IN adolescence The gynecologist said that these are hormonal changes and when the transition period passes, everything will return to normal.

Then they said: “When you get married, everything will be like clockwork!”

Like any other homeopathy, Cyclodinone must be taken for a long time - at least 3 months. I don’t remember how much the drug cost 3 years ago, but now a course of treatment will cost a pretty penny.

Expensive, but is it effective?

I chose cyclodinone tablets; it’s easier and faster for me to take 1 tiny tablet once a day than to drop 40 drops.

What is the power of cyclodinone? In what it contains twig extract (vitex)

Vitex has been traditionally used to treat women's ailments for centuries. One of the first records concerning the medicinal use of this plant belongs to Hippocrates and dates back to the 4th century BC. Chasteberry is now one of the most commonly recommended herbs for reducing symptoms of PMS, scanty or absent periods, anovulatory cycles, cycle disorders after use contraception, some forms of infertility, chest pain.

Compound:

Active substance: dry extract from the fruits of common twig (Agnus castus). Additional substances: povidone, Si oxide, potato starch, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, Mg stearate, talc, Ti oxide, Fe oxide, indigotine varnish, macrogol, polyethyl acrylate, trimethyl ammonicetyl methacrylate chloride.

My feelings:

I didn't finish 15 tablets out of 90, but the cycle returned to normal in the second month of use and was regular for another six months (an absolute record for me) after finishing taking the pills. In theory, then the course should have been repeated, but I categorically disagreed with this.

And the whole point is side effects:

- mood swings, irritability, outbursts of aggression, which was completely out of character for me, a mega-calm person, some kind of incessant PMS;

Twigweed is the most famous herb for affecting hormones, but it does not suppress sexual desire

- but no! Suppresses, and how! It’s not even something that suppresses, but a disgust that arises, which could not but affect the relationship with her husband.

By the way, at first I didn’t connect this with taking the pills, only in the 3rd month of taking the pills did suspicions arise, so I didn’t finish the course. Sexual desire returned approximately 2 weeks after stopping cyclodinone.

Time passed and I was lucky enough to meet an adequate gynecologist. True, she came with another problem - cervical erosion, but in passing she also complained about the irregularity of her cycle.

And this is the first doctor who did not prescribe anything, but immediately sent me for hormone tests.

They turned out to be normal, although all my life I thought that my hormones were fluctuating.

The ultrasound results were also normal. That is, in se female organs turned out to be serviceable and worked in their own individual mode. According to the doctor, this cycle is my norm and there is no need to force the body with any cyclodinones.
