  7. Lying on your stomach, place your hands on the floor in front of you. You need to raise your head and torso as much as possible. Stay in this position for 1 minute, then lower to the floor and relax. Repeat the exercise 5-6 times. You can do several approaches per day.

Treatment of cervical osteochondrosis is a long process. It is necessary to follow all the doctor’s recommendations, follow a diet, and exercise. Finish it by stroking your forehead.

Then connect your index, middle and thumb into a pinch, press them to your temples and massage them clockwise with your pads. Attach the remaining fingers to the pinch and move from the temples to the crown on both sides. Knead and move the skin to increase blood circulation in the subcutaneous vessels. Move slowly, as if feeling every centimeter of skin. When your fingers meet on the top of your head, massage it thoroughly. Put your hands down, relax. Listen to your feelings. Lower your head to your chest, press the pads of your slightly apart and half-bent fingers to your sides occipital protuberance and start massaging and moving from bottom to top, kneading the skin. If you come across any unevenness on the skin, use screwing movements of the pads of your index or middle fingers to knead them better and proceed to massage the back of your head. In the place where the neck muscles are attached to the head, there are two symmetrical depressions on the sides. And in the center, under the occipital bone, there is a larger depression. It needs to be massaged well with your middle fingers, and your side fingers with your thumbs and index fingers. Do this with both hands at the same time, on both sides. Then lightly stroke the entire head and face. Lower your hands, rest, stroke them from your fingertips to your forearms. Place your hands on your knees, sit quietly, relax.

Self-massage of the neck is carried out in a sitting or standing position. The procedure begins with the back of the neck, which is stroked with one hand or two at the same time, each on its own side. The palms pressed tightly together move from the scalp down to the shoulder joint; repeat 5 - 6 times.

Squeezing is carried out when the position of the hand is the same as when stroking, only more vigorous pressure is applied with the tubercle of the thumb, moving to the edge of the palm, turning it upward. The movement is performed from top to bottom 5 - 6 times.

Kneading is performed with the pads of the four fingers of either hand, pressing the muscle to the bone bed and at the same time shifting it towards the little finger, the hand moves from the occipital bone down to the shoulder blades; repeat 4-5 times on one side and the same number on the other. After this, do 3-4 strokes and repeat the kneading.

The shoulder girdle and trapezius muscle are stroked from the ear to the shoulder joint 3 to 4 times. To do this, the massaging hand is brought far behind the neck, supporting it by the elbow with the brush of the other hand. The support for the supporting hand can be a thigh, a table, or the back of a chair.

To do squeezing and rubbing with “forceps”, the muscle is grabbed with the pads of all fingers and kneaded with a shift towards the little finger.

Rubbing is carried out along the line of the occipital bone. Circular rotational movements with four fingers are performed from the mastoid process (ear) to the second ear. The same can be done with both hands at the same time towards each other. Rubbing is also done along the cervical vertebrae from the hairline to the back.

Circular rubbing with the pads of 4 fingers of both hands is done simultaneously.

Dotted rubbing - with each hand on its side, placing your fingers along the spine and at the same time moving the skin above the vertebrae up and down by about 1 cm.

Complete the self-massage of the back of the neck with stroking.

Massage of the front of the neck is a means of preventing sore throats and exacerbations of tonsillitis. It is recommended to do it before going outside in frosty weather and after drinking cold drinks or ice cream.

Stroking is performed with both hands in the direction from the jaw down to the chest, gently so that the skin does not move or stretch.

After this, knead the muscle using circular kneading with the pads of four fingers - from the earlobe, where the muscle begins, down along the anterolateral surface of the neck to the chest (4 - 5 times), alternating with stroking.

The brush tightly grips the front surface of the neck so that the throat is between thumb and four others. Perform circular kneading movements first with one hand, then with the other, while moving from top to bottom.

Circular rubbing is carried out with four fingers - towards the little finger right hand on the left side of the neck, and vice versa.

Circular rubbing with the pads of the thumb and index fingers from the edge of the jaw down along the sternocleidomastoid muscle to the chest.

After each rubbing, perform two or three strokes from the chin down and then two to four swallowing movements, bending the head forward to the base of the chest.

Massaging the head and neck to improve blood circulation can be a good solution to the problem without the use of drugs. Cerebrovascular accidents occur in people of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, so ways to combat them are always relevant.

Signs of circulatory problems include:
