  • Monotonous, boring and constant mental work;
  • Work according to irregular schedule;
  • Constant stress and annoying circumstances;
  • Chronic lack of sleep;
  • Improper and insufficient nutrition, due to which beriberi develops;
  • Latent infections and experienced surgeries;
  • Injuries, poisoning of the body with toxins;
  • Postpartum period and somatic pathologies.

All this provokes the very neurasthenic trembling, which indicates a neurasthenic state.

In fact, this state of affairs can be called a total "burnout" of the body, that is, its weakening.

Medical therapy

It is clear that such symptoms should not be ignored, and the treatment of nervous system exhaustion should be carried out immediately after the appropriate diagnosis has been made.

The fastest positive effect is achieved by taking specific drugs that belong to three bulk groups of drugs:

  • Vasodilators. Treatment with them helps to improve cerebral circulation of blood, along with the removal of pain;
  • Nootropics. The action of such medicines is aimed at optimizing the activity of brain cells;
  • Vitamins belonging to group B. They activate and enhance all metabolic processes in nerve cells;
  • Sedative and sedative drugs, which can improve sleep and remove autonomic internal reactions.

Folk remedies

Treatment of chronic exhaustion of the nervous system with folk remedies occurs using many medicinal plants.

But the following drugs are most often practiced:


  • Separately brewed, and then mixed in equal proportions decoctions of motherwort and
    valerian root;
  • Dried chamomile flowers, a teaspoon of which is poured into a glass of boiling water, the drink is flavored with a spoonful of honey, and taken immediately before bedtime;
  • Dried rose hips. A spoonful of berries is placed in 250 ml of boiling water, everything is placed in a thermos for 12 hours, and consumed throughout the day with natural honey in a bite;
  • Folk healers practice the treatment of nervous exhaustion with calamus root. It is crushed, and in the amount of 3 tsp. pour 400 ml of boiling water. Potion 20 min. boiled under the lid and on minimal heat, after which it is filtered and drunk during the day.

Diet number 12 is a table that is often prescribed for exhaustion of the nervous system. It is necessarily accompanied by taking medications or treatment with folk remedies, giving up bad habits and normalizing the daily routine.
